Great Safari in Kenya
Our group of 6 adults booked an extremely satisfying trip with Monkey Adventures. The staff helped us design a great itinerary including not only the well known Masi Masai reserve, but also lesser known ones like a Ol Pejata. The guide (David) was excellent, the Safari van was clean/comforatble and the inpark lodges were fabulous The booking arrangements were smoothly made with their staff (especially Fauziah) who were knowledgeable, responsive and patient with our frequent modifications.

A quick travel tip: if you’re visiting Uganda from the U.S. or other countries, make sure to apply for your Uganda visa at least a week in advance. Don’t wait until the last minute — it’ll save you a lot of stress and help you start your safari adventure worry-free!
One note: the roads in Uganda can be a bit bumpy, but that’s part of the adventure — and we always felt completely safe with Solomon driving.

Amazing Solo Safari
I recently had the privilege of experiencing a private safari in the Serengeti, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable adventure, made even more memorable by the impeccable organization and the outstanding service provided!
From the moment I was picked up, everything was taken care of seamlessly. The transportation, tours, and hotel arrangements were all perfectly organized, allowing me to simply enjoy every moment without any worries. I even forgot which day it was 😁
The hotels we stayed in were fantastic, offering a comfortable and luxurious stay after long days of exploring the stunning wilderness.
A special shout-out goes to my tour guide, Miraji. He truly went above and beyond to ensure I had the most incredible experience. Very responsive to requirements and hugely experienced in what they do
This is the second time we used Go Self-Drive to help organise out trip to Zambia, Botswana, and SA. We were a group of six (of various ages) so accommodating our diverse interests was at times a bit challenging but right from early planning stage (almost 10 months before our travel dates in Oct 2025) till the very end of the our trip Alette (and who we eventually met in Knysna, which was nice) was unfailingly responsive to our preferences and remained actively involved and supportive throughout the process. We had a few hiccups but nothing major and these were sorted out without any fuss.
Basically this travel agency is very experienced in arranging trips in this part of world and I have no hesitation in recommending them (and look forward to using their services in the future).

We had the best experience on the safari with a fabulous guide.
Even though we arrived during the election period and the WiFi/internet was shut down, Wakanda organized everything for us to have a fabulous safari as planned. Communication and reliability was excellent and we saw many many animals, the guide had exceptional knowledge and the accommodations were all extremely clean, great views and very friendly staff. We had a great experience.

Indians are the most difficult travellers to handle but Charles Safaris guided our vacation so well that we fell in love with the destination . Pre tour services wherein we discussed the itinerary , quotes, and on tour challenges were handled to our satisfaction. on landing he took command giving us a brief of dos and donts which was very important . the urge to show us the country was amazing!! and finally the land of the Mara and the eargerness to show us the flora & fauna !!! The most important interaction with locals which was enlightening in regards to the country , politics, religion & education.
