An absolutely magical experience - an adventure we will surely never forget!
5/5

From the moment we were picked up to the very last day, everything was perfectly organized thanks to Jerome.
We were incredibly lucky to see all the animals we had hoped for, even all Big Five. The absolute highlight was the Cheetah climbing on someone else’s car! All this thanks to our guide - and now friend - Samuel, who was simply outstanding — knowledgeable, professional, and very passionate about wildlife. You certainly notice he has 15 years of experience! Also he spoke English, French, and even some German, which made communication very easy.
Even though we camped during the safari, we always felt safe and well taken care of. You could also hear some lions roaring in the night - that‘s simply a different kind of experience, we would never want to miss out of. Also Gabriel, our cook, amazed us with delicious meals every single day.
For the price, this safari far exceeded our expectations. That’s why we would absolutely recommend Meru Slopes to anyone looking for an authentic, safe, and unforgettable safari in Tansania.
Thank you Samuel, Gabriel, and Jerome – we’ll never forget this adventure!

Beautiful experience with fantastic staff
5/5

Our safari was fantastic. I asked for an Italian-speaking guide because my wife doesn't speak English, and they obliged. George, our local guide, was excellent and always available. We went on a safari to the Masai Mara Reserve. We managed to see the Big Five, except for the leopard, but it was still beautiful. We stayed in a tented camp for two days near the Masai Mara Reserve. On the third day, we went to Lake Nakuru. On the last day, before arriving in Nairobi, George took us to Lake Naivasha. Everything was beautiful. We recommend it.

Superb safari adventure
5/5

Savannah Explorers provided a superlative safari experience. We chose the 6 day option and it was incredible. Our guide Chiu was extremely knowledgeable and his understanding of animal habitat and behaviour allowed us to repeatedly be in the right place at the right time . We encountered the big 6 and never felt rushed .
Accommodations were great and buffet dinners were lovely.
There were prompt and good communications throughout the planning of our safari.
Easy 5 star rating

An unforgettable journey, curated with love and passion
5/5

We were assisted from start to finish by a highly professional team, down to the smallest details. A special thanks to Sara, who advised and guided us through the planning, optimizing our itinerary, staying within our budget, and offering us authentic and unique experiences.

All the accommodations were impeccable, with attention to detail and perfectly aligned with our needs. Our guide was simply exceptional: passionate, knowledgeable, and always available, she made us feel at home, making the trip even more special.

It was immediately clear that Tracksofafrica works with love and passion, and this truly made the difference: every detail spoke of care, dedication, and deep knowledge of the territory.

Thank you so much for letting us experience the true spirit of Africa. We returned with a "longing for Africa" and... if we return (and we will!), we will trust you again without hesitation! 💪🌍❤️

They are amazing and professional, we enjoyed the experience very much.
5/5

We had such a wonderful experience with MoAfrika Tours! From start to finish, the team was professional, warm, and went above and beyond to make our trip special.

Our tour guide was not only friendly and knowledgeable, but also made sure we felt safe and comfortable at all times. You could genuinely feel that the team put in their best effort to give us the best experience possible.

They even helped us secure the best rooms at the hotel, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our stay even more enjoyable.

We joined the Cape Town City Tour and the Peninsula Tour, and both were absolutely fantastic filled with beautiful sights, smooth logistics, and plenty of photo opportunities.

Highly recommend MoAfrika if you want a stress-free, memorable South Africa trip with people who truly care about your experience.

Thorough and professional
5/5

Our guide, Chui, lead us on the most amazing five day safari. We were awoken by animals outside our tent at night, saw all the big five, took our time taking the most fabulous photographs. The accommodations were terrific. I would highly recommend Savannah Explorers for anyone coming on a safari. Prior to the trip, Augustin our trip coordinator answered all our questions and accommodated requests. We were very impressed with the detailed agenda that he prepared. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

AVOID Dwayne Tours & Safaris tour operator
1/5

From our experience, I would recommend that you AVOID Dwayne Tours & Safaris tour operator
The service with Dwayne Tours & Safaris was extremely disappointing, showing no respect for clients. I want to briefly share my experience to warn others about this agency, which operates in a completely unprofessional way.
Here are just some of the issues we faced:
• We booked and paid for a private tour, which was not provided. Instead, we were placed in a random group without being asked.
• At Chobe River, our program stated we would have a morning game drive starting at 8:30, but we only left around 11–11:30, when animals are much less active due to the heat.
• The “private” game drive turned into waiting for a group of teenagers who were more interested in taking photos in the driver’s seat and climbing trees, while we sat in the vehicle for half an hour. The drive itself lasted only 2 hours (including the waiting), instead of the promised 3 hours.
• Despite paying for an all-inclusive package, we were told there was no water and initially no lunch at the lodge (this was later corrected, but only after a dispute).
• I tried to address these issues with Lloyd, the operator, but he only kept saying “everything will be fine,” without doing anything to make up for the wasted and very expensive time. After traveling 24 hours to get there, his complete lack of awareness or respect for our time and money was shocking.
• When I asked for at least a discount or some compensation, he kept nodding but never did anything about it.
The next day, we were supposed to drive through Savuti to the Okavango Delta. Lloyd told us the journey normally takes about 6 hours (or 8 if stopping along the way). In reality, without any stops, it took us more than 11 hours, which completely ruined our schedule and cost us valuable time on what was already a short trip. This was also our wedding anniversary, which made it even more frustrating.
Later that day, instead of the planned private afternoon game drive, we were again added to another group that had booked a mokoro excursion – so both their plans and ours were ruined. We just sat waiting in the vehicle for them to return. When we tried to talk to Lloyd again in the evening, he became dismissive and even rude. Together with the Kwai Expedition Camp management, he promised us a full day private game drive the following day to “make things right.” Of course, that was another empty promise – we were again joined by strangers and got maybe three hours of private time in total.
At the end of the trip, my husband gave Lloyd the final payment with the words: “If you think you earned it, take it; if not, it’s up to you.” Without a second of hesitation or remorse for the terrible service, Lloyd took the full amount.
After we returned, my husband gave him one last chance to show at least minimal responsibility by refunding part of the money. He never responded.
This was by far our worst safari experience ever – unprofessional, disorganized, and completely disrespectful towards clients.
👉 I feel responsible to warn other travelers: Avoid Dwayne Tours & Safaris at all costs.
