Incredible Gorilla Trek Expedition!
My time in Rwanda was beyond extraordinary, thanks to the flawless coordination and professionalism of the team who organized my gorilla trek, golden monkey trek, and visit to the Dian Fossey grave site. From start to finish, everything ran seamlessly — transfers, permits, timing, and communication were handled with precision and care.
Barrack, my guide, was amazing! He adjusted plans effortlessly to make sure every moment was optimized. Despite being deep in the forest, I always felt completely safe and well looked after.
The gorilla trek was simply life-changing — respectful and perfectly paced. The golden monkey trek brought a joyful contrast, and the hike to the Dian Fossey grave site added a deeply meaningful, historical layer to the experience.
Every aspect reflected care, expertise, and respect for both visitors and wildlife. I can’t recommend this team enough!

From our very first contact we had the best a most professionel guiding from Jennifer. From the moment our guide Victor welcome us - he gave us the best services. Always kind, smiling, friendly and flexibil. We really appriciated our tour from Kigali, Rwanda to Bwindi Imp. Park, Uganda. We stayed at Kaara Mountain Lodge with fantastic location, excellent services lovely people and a stunning view from the lodge above the skyes.

It was such an easy experience booking our honeymoon with Lion King from our first enquiry with Maria and Floria, which transpired into an unbelievable safari adventure.
All of the hotel recommendations were superb; none more so than our two night stay in the Serengeti at the Nyota Luxury Camp — in the bush, the most amazing sunrise and sunset backdrops, surrounded by wild animals…what more could you ask for.
It’s only right that we give a huge shout out and special mention to our amazing guide, Khalifa.
The effort he put into our entire six day safari from start to finish was incredible. From answering all of our questions along the way, tirelessly driving around and using his expert knowledge to find all of the animals we wanted to see and take pictures of, and accommodating our endless toilet breaks — it wouldn’t have been the same without him.
It’s pretty intense when you think about it that you spend your entire day in a safari jeep with a stranger you’ve never met before — but he made us smile, laugh and feel right at home with his facts, jokes and stories along the way. So thank you again!

Brilliant company
I could not recommend this company enough. It is a locally owned and operated. Emmanuel who owns the company met with us personally at the beginning and end of the trip which was a nice personal touch. From enquiring about the safari till arriving, the communication was excellent and we always had speedy replies to any questions. The safari was completely tailored to what we wanted, and included lots of activities to learn about the culture as well as animal viewing.
From start to finish, the whole tour was amazing. Our guide Venance was an expert on all the animals, including the birds. Venance also told us lots of details on the culture and local tribes. Venance seemed to be able to spot an animal from a mile away. His eyes were so sharp that we'd regularly be the first to spot animals and enjoy them alone before other vehicles would joined. We seen the big 5 as well as so many other animals that lives in the park.
The vehicle was well stocked with water, soda and beers the whole trip. Nothing quite like having a beer when watching a Pride of lions.
Venance could not have taken better care of us and made us feel well cared for and safe the whole trip. Venance also provided a lot of flexibility to make the trip exactly what we wanted it.
All of the accommodations chosen by African Big Cats were brilliant. We did not have a bad meal the whole trip. And we certainly did not go hungry at any time. There was so much food.
We would recommend this tour group to everyone and we would not hesitate to use African Big Cats when we return to Tanzania.

Our tour guide, Willem, did an amazing job. His ability to spot animals is better than 20 other guides. Plus, he is a local and knows the area very well. The organization itself is very professional and accommodating. I requested a few changes and they were executed right away.
