I had the most unforgettable trip to Zanzibar with Pangolin! Everything was so well organized, from start to finish, making the whole experience seamless and stress free. Zanzibar itself was pure paradise stunning beaches, turquoise waters, and vibrant culture everywhere you turn. My guide was not only knowledgeable but also passionate, making each excursion meaningful and memorable. From exploring Stone Town’s rich history to relaxing on the beautiful coast, every moment was a joy. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and perfectly located, while the meals were absolutely delightful. I truly felt taken care of at every step.
Booking with Pangolin was the best choice their attention to detail and commitment to creating a magical experience made all the difference. I’ll always cherish the memories from this trip and can’t wait to travel with them again!

All of the drivers, Simon, Shelton and Louis were on time, friendly and knowledgeable. They gave lots of information along the way to our destinations. Safaris were high quality and well organized. All of the food was delicious. Our accommodation at Samanzi was incredible. My one complaint is that I wish information was given about the visa process. I had bought a single entry visa that was good for 60 days but since we crossed into Botswana I needed a multi entry. Because I had the wrong type I spent an additional $90 for 3 more visas.

We spent twelve days in Tanzania on a charitable medical mission with Interplast in Wasso, Loliondo District, operating on Maasai patients at the small Sakala Hospital. Moses was our driver during this time and, following the mission, accompanied us for two days as our driver on safari to the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. I would like to wholeheartedly give a truly positive review to Moses and his entire team because he was, without a doubt, a fantastic guide and companion.
When looking for an ideal companion for such a mission, many of you would surely agree that you are looking for someone competent, experienced, friendly, who makes you feel safe not only through their calm manner, their careful and precise planning, and their equally competent staff, but also through their technical equipment in the form of perfectly maintained and modern jeeps with which they drive the group. The Kilimanjaro climb was difficult but incredibly rewarding upon reaching the summit and the wonderful experience of the journey to the top. Our trip was enhanced by the exceptional support from Zara Tanzania Adventures. Everyone of the crew was genuinely interested in making our experience wonderful, safe, and memorable. They helped us navigate through the Lemosho course which had some tough sections. Lema, the chief guide, was a great leader, and he made sure that we were all well taken care of. We had an unforgettable honeymoon with Big Cats Safari. From the very beginning, Salim provided excellent tailored planning that made everything smooth and stress-free. On the first day, we were warmly welcomed by Emanuel, the operations manager, who gave us a helpful briefing about the week ahead and ensured everything was perfectly arranged.
Our guide, Frank, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and always making sure we had the best views. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five, countless other animals, and even witnessed the Great Migration at the Mara River crossing, which was truly breathtaking. If you are planning a safari, definitely ask for Frank—he made our honeymoon trip exceptional.
All of the accommodations were wonderful—comfortable, welcoming, and set in beautiful locations. The food throughout the trip was consistently delicious. A special highlight was visiting a Maasai village, where we had the chance to learn more about their traditions and way of life.
Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend Big Cats Safari to anyone looking for a truly memorable safari in Tanzania!

Great experience with Brian. We did a helicopter and walking tour of Victoria Falls, a Boma (drum dance ) dinner with traditional food. We also did a land/boat safari we saw lots of lions and a leopard with its recent kill in the tree. Six crocodiles eating a water buffalo. A herd of elephants swimming across the Chobe River. The Nkosi hotel was excellent with great staff and food. I would highly recommend Brian.

This was a tour that used all the time available so that experiance would be maximised
From first contact Dorokai Tours were very responsive. I had selected them because their pricing was very competitive for the tour we wanted to do and infact it seemed to include more than many. The tour included Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Top of Muchison Falls, Safari in NP, Boat trip and finally a Chimp Trek before returning to Entebbe. Each of the 3 days were a 13 hour experiance. The representitives from Dorokai were excellent, very pleasent to be with, punctual and provided good and safe transport.
The 3 days were excellent, being so close to Rinos was a real experiance as was the top of the falls. In the National Park we saw a good number of animals including 2 lion spottings, (one just an arms length away). The Chip trek was quite hard, (we are in our late 70s), in the heat but we did succeed in seeing 2 chimps. After the trek we returned to Entebbe.
The following morning we were picked up for our trip to see the Shoebill Storks in Mabamba Swamps after a short car ride we transferred to a boat for the 45 min transfer on Lake Victoria to the swamp where we transfered to a smaller boat and were sucessful in seeing a Stork.
I would not hesitate in recommending Dorokai Travel to plan your trip to Uganda. I would take this opportunity to thank their representitives publicly for a lovely 4 days that has provided a lasting memory .
