5 day safari + 4 day Zanzibar
Everything was not perfect but Anitha and the team of Golden Trips reacted very well when I complained about non acceptable things.
(For information, I did a 5 day safari + 4 day Zanzibar.)
Choosing Golden Trip does not mean you will do the safari in a Golden Trip Jeep. As a solo traveler I asked to join a shared safari, so they put me in a SimbaMagic Jeep. The safari was awesome but some things did not happen as described in the quote. For instance I spent the first and the fourth night in a different hotel as indicated in the quote. It was not as good as expected, I complained, and Anitha upgraded my next hotel in Zanzibar, which was very good.
I also complained about an activity in Zanzibar (the dolphin tour was a mess) and they sent me some other locals to make another tour and it was way much better.
To conclude, I would highlight the reactivity, the quality of the quotes, the customer orientation, the availability and flexibility of Anitha and the team of Golden Trips.

“Don’t Worry About Anything. I’ve Got It Dear.”
“Don’t Worry About Anything, I’ve Got It Dear… Until He Didn’t.”
Those were the exact words our guide used to reassure me at the start of our safari. But what followed was a string of disorganized bookings, vehicle breakdowns, and costly mistakes that turned what should have been a seamless adventure into a stressful experience.

Review of Kenya Tour Safari Heights
Logistical Failures:
The most critical breakdown occurred with accommodations. We were assigned the wrong room types—or worse, no rooms at all. The only property that met expectations was Miasha Luxury Tent Camp, and even that wasn’t originally part of our booking. Keekorok, the intended sister property, rerouted us after system failures—but without proper coordination, this led to disputes, incorrect room assignments, and long waits to check in.
Worse, due to a failure in securing rooms in Masai Mara, we were forced to drive five hours back to Nairobi after a full safari day, cutting short our planned two-night stay in the reserve.
Despite months of planning, there was no airport pickup for me as the group leader, nor for a participant who had arranged a separate transfer. For a company coordinating premium safari packages, this oversight was unacceptable—especially for a woman traveling and arriving late at night.
Lack of Transparency:
We were asked to make large payments in USD cash with no itemized invoices or receipts provided upfront. Attempts to obtain a clear financial breakdown were met with vague or delayed responses. Even when discrepancies were raised—such as inflated transfer fee claims—the guide avoided direct answers and never provided proof. Meshak also attempted to push the currency conversion fee onto me. This lack of transparency undermined trust and made it difficult to manage the group confidently.
Vehicle Issues & Safety Concerns:
Our safari vehicle broke down multiple times during the trip, including once on a major highway while returning to Nairobi late at night. These repeated mechanical issues not only delayed our itinerary but also posed serious safety risks. Additionally, the guide’s driver drove off-road to get a closer look at a lion, which resulted in the vehicle being pulled over and fined by revenue police—a completely avoidable incident.
Cultural Sensitivity & Conduct:
There was a troubling moment of racial bias during the safari when the guide singled out our white participant for a solo photo, excluding the rest of the group (all Black women). This moment was not only inappropriate but deeply telling. Group travel requires cultural awareness and equal respect—neither of which were demonstrated consistently.
Final Thoughts:
While the country of Kenya is extraordinary, Kenya Tour Safari Heights did not deliver the caliber of service promised. Between disorganized bookings, questionable financial practices, safety issues, and culturally insensitive behavior, my trust and confidence in the owner, his company, and his entire operation—despite using them previously—have been eroded.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this company, particularly for travelers seeking clarity, structure, safety, or group-friendly support. My recommendation: choose a true professional who doesn’t cut corners that ultimately undermine the experience.

Unforgettable Safari in Tanzania
We had the most magical journey with Wildlife Experience and created memories we’ll never forget. We went on a 4-day trip to Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater & Highlands – and we actually managed to spot the Big Five!
There are countless tour operators in Tanzania, but these guys truly stand out. With over 20 years of experience, they are absolute professionals. Everything was spot on: the choice of lodges, the delicious food, the travel route, the seamless organization, and the comfortable car. They even took amazing care of my gluten-free diet, which I really appreciated.
Our guide Steven was outstanding – not only a fantastic guide but also such a wonderful person, which made the whole trip extra special. He knows the Serengeti like the back of his hand and never once needed a map, even on the nearly 1,000 km we covered. His knowledge about wildlife, culture, and Tanzania in general was impressive. Most importantly, he always drove with great focus and care, so we felt 100% safe the entire time. His guiding was extremely professional, and it was clear that Steven did everything possible to make sure we saw the Big Five – which we did!
A heartfelt thank you to Steven, Davies, and the whole Wildlife Experience team. We can wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone and will definitely be back!
Much love,
Petra & Luca

One of the best tours I’ve ever joined in my lives!
We were probably like many other travellers, unsure which tour company to choose as most itineraries looked very similar. When we contacted Bison, Maggie replied quickly and professionally, and we immediately felt reassured. Unlike some operators who try to cut corners or overcharge, Bison offered us a fair and reasonable price, which gave us confidence in their honesty from the start.
As for the safari itself, it was absolutely AMAZING. Even though our group arrived in Nairobi at different times, our tour guide, Mike, went to the airport early to ensure he collected everyone. He even patiently waited while we queued for SIM cards and cash withdrawals.
Mike was truly exceptional. He is kind-hearted, thoughtful and a very skilled driver. Despite us having a lot of luggage, he tried to fit everything inside the vehicle, even giving up space for his own bag, rather than simply putting it on the roof. On the road, he navigated rough terrain safely and with great skill. Out on the game drives, his sharp eyesight helped us spot so many animals and he shared fascinating knowledge about them.
I personally enjoy buying souvenirs. Whenever we passed local vendors, Mike patiently waited and gave me plenty time to browse and negotiate. Our group even asked him twice to take us to markets for more shopping, and he fulfilled every request, making it possible for us to bring memories home.
Our group also loves photography, and Mike never rushed us. He patiently waited and even helped take wonderful group photos. His patience and kindness made our safari so much more enjoyable. Honestly, without him, the experience would not have been the same.
The animals are always there in the national parks. What really matters is the guide you have. I had a wonderful time with Bison and I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Super experienced driver John and excellent planner James.
Very good communication and good value of money. They plan according to our preference and made changes quickly. James is super helpful along the way. And the driver John is very nice and spotted animals right away. A lot to see in safaris and very happy to travel with Splendid Vacation! Definitely recommend!

Great team!
I’d like to highlight our driver, Yazin! He’s been very well experienced in his field and taught us a lot not just about the reserve but also couple of Kenya historical events and places. A perfect example what a tour guide and a driver should be! He’s a pride of the agency 🫡

3 person private Safari Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire - Fantastic
7 days of amazing Safari. We got the chance to see the great migration, lions, leopards, cheetahs and so many other animals, more than we could dream of. Our amazing guide Simon was really an expert, he could sense where the animals were long before we could see them. You could really tell he knew where the different animals had their habitats and had patience to wait when (especially the leopards) were hiding.
We like our accommodations, both the tented camps and the bungalows. They were all well equipped and the personal was very helpful and friendly.
We would happily repeat the experience again.

Sele and Sunset Adventure: The Perfect Safari Team
Our 10-day safari with Sunset Adventure was an absolute dream, exceeding all our expectations. The company crafted a truly unforgettable journey through Tanzania's stunning natural reserves. We were incredibly fortunate to witness the Great Migration—a truly breathtaking and humbling experience. Throughout our trip, we were amazed to see over 100 different animal species, a testament to the company's deep knowledge of the land and animal behaviors.
Beyond the wildlife, we were deeply moved by our interactions with three of Tanzania's tribes. Learning about their culture and traditions, and enjoying their wonderful food, added a rich, human element to the adventure.
A special shoutout goes to our guide, Sele. He was the heart and soul of our trip. His experience and expertise were obvious from the start—he has an uncanny ability to spot animals and knows the perfect spot to park for the best views. Not only is he a walking encyclopedia of animal facts, but he did everything with an infectious smile and a genuine passion for his work. Sele made us feel safe and cared for every step of the way. If you're booking a safari with Sunset Adventure, be sure to request him!
