We travelled as a family from Nigeria to Tanzania this August with Makisala Safaris to witness the Great Migration, and it was nothing short of magical. From smooth airport transfers and comfortable accommodations to a warm welcome from the team, everything was perfectly organized. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient with the kids, and always knew where to go for the best sightings; watching thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River plus spotting lions, elephants and even a cheetah with her cubs was unforgettable. The whole trip felt safe, seamless and truly special for every member of our family, and we can’t wait to come back to explore more of Tanzania with Makisala Safaris!

Unforgettable memories with an excellent guide
Communication with Full Package Safari was excellent, from the booking process to the transfer to the airport. The safari itself was unique. Our tour guide was Babuu, an excellent guide with more than 15 years of experience and incredible knowledge of animals and nature, who fulfilled all our wishes and expectations. He took all the time necessary and taught us to be patient with the animals in order to see spectacular things. It was an incredible and unforgettable adventure. We would recommend this agency to anyone.

Best experience ever!
As animal lovers we had very high expectations for this trip. I could not thank more Golden Trips, Leticia and especially our guide Edu. The program was very organised, the lodges were awesome, we ate delicious food and most importantly thanks to the eyes and patience of our guide we saw the big 5 and a lot more. It really was the best experience of my life. And all the team was extremely nice and was worried if we were enjoying ourselves. I couldn’t have chosen a better safari company!

Golden guide, unforgettable safari
Meru Slope made our Tanzania trip unforgettable. Our group of four women spent 13 days—10 days on safari and 3 days in Zanzibar—and every detail was handled with care.
From the first inquiry to the final drop-off, the team was professional, attentive, and flexible. They listened to our travel goals, created an itinerary that met all our wishes, and optimized routes to minimize travel time. As first-time visitors to Tanzania, we had many questions; the team answered each one patiently and knowledgeably, even before we booked. Their sincerity and warmth convinced us we’d made the right choice.
Airport pickups and drop-offs were seamless. The hotel we stayed at were very nice and well facilitated. Meals are well prepared, and we had either hot lunch or lunch box with good quality depending on our daily schedule.
Special thanks to our guide, Nuru—truly a golden guide. He reviewed the itinerary thoroughly before the safari began, which made us feel safe and confident. Nuru combined expert knowledge with a friendly sense of humor that kept the mood light and joyful. His experience and passion for wildlife are remarkable: he had an uncanny ability to spot animals from far away. He always adheres to the principle of "better to be unjust than to let go" that he would stop to confirm sightings with binoculars. He explained animal behavior, anticipated movement patterns, and positioned the vehicle to give us the best close-up views. He treated every question seriously—even a suspicion on animal speicies detail, he would take photos and verify later when he had internet access.
The entire Meru Slope team welcomed us with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to share Tanzania’s beauty. They created a relaxed, immersive experience rooted in the spirit of “hakuna matata.” Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, well-organized safari.

Outstanding
Everything starts with planning and oh boy did the staff deliver. The steps are clear and changeable to your needs. This was very helpful for our first safari. You have a assigned guide that follows you through your journey and they have a wealth of information about the wildlife and nature. There’s so many different safari guide companies that choosing one can be overwhelming. Every day you see dozens of different companies and I believe we had the best one. The vehicle is cleaned inside and out every day and is in perfect order. We really loved our first safari experience and we will definitely be coming back and booking with Sunset Safari Adventure. We booked the package with it ending in Zanzibar, we were just overwhelmed with the history of Stone Town and had the best stay at the Royal Beach Resort. We did not regret spending the extra money for the resort. This was a trip of a life time and the whole team is responsible for the success. Thank you for the memories. Excellent experience with wonderful people
A clear itinerary and fast communication through Whatsapp with Gatelinks has lead to a wonderful experience. We requested some changes and everything was updated and included as we asked for.
Our guide Tony was amazing - super friendly and he knew just the right spots to make our safari unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Thank you Tony!
The tour itself included a lot of driving, since we created a schedule to visit 4 national parks in 7 days. But it was all worth it in the end: we saw lions, elephants, cheetahs, a leopard, a serval, hippos, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, gazelles… and so much more!
We stayed in 4 different tented camps/lodges which were all very clean and safe with super friendly staff.
Would definitely recommend Gatelinks (and ofcourse Tony) to everyone.

A dream come true!
This safari adventure with Akondo, especially with our guide Richard, was a dream come true! It was beyond what I imagined it to be. We had really good accommodations with good food and cozy beds. Our guide Richard is very knowledgeable in different areas and he lead us through the wonders of Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro in a very interesting way. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company for your safari tour, as it is worth every cent.
