Great experience
4/5

We were at Victoria Falls for 4 nights and all our tours were arranged by this company. It’s good to note that they provided us with free airport transfers because we booked more than three tours with them.

We had an amazing time visiting victoria falls from both Zimbabwe and Zambia side, doing Boma dinner, sunset cruise and Chobe national park. Excellent guides and value for money. The Chobe NP was amazing and we had a luxury lunch on the day in a hotel though they mentioned that we will be given a picnic lunch.

Only issue was their communication was poor and we had to keep messaging and asking the correct pick up times. Luckily, we had time to adjust our plans because we were there for 3 full days.

African Safari July 2024
4/5

We booked with Jastro Safaris a few months before travelling for our extended family of 9. Communication was via watsap. Always great at communicating and answered all my questions and tried to tailor the itinerary according to our needs. Prices were very competitive. We were met at the airport and taken to our accommodation. We stayed 2 nights in Nairobi, 4 nights in Masai Mara and 1 night in Lake Nakuru. Got to see all the big 5 animals close up which was amazing. Our driver Steve was really good and looked after us well. There were a few hiccups due to some of the bookings being done on incorrect dates (so recommend to double check this yourself before travelling) but this was rectified as best as possible. We had 9 of us in a tour van which was nice being all together but be wary unless you have very minimal luggage it may be better to split into 2 groups due to space. Overall a decent experience and the few issues that we did have we spoke to Jarred at the end and he took the feedback on board and tried to make things right.

Responsive, Friendly and Conscientious Tour Operator!
4/5

Magical Gorilla Adventures was amazingly responsive from the onset of planning our trip through the end of our journey. Both Aina and Kolo were accessible at any time with any questions or clarifications that we had. Their pricing was competitive and the itinerary they assembled took into consideration our request to not only see the animals but to also get a flavor for Rwandan and Tanzanian culture (tribes, villages, arts, museums, etc).
The tour itself was great but also pretty rigorous for us (we are active seniors). Lots of riding on bumpy, dusty, rutty roads in Tanzania - for HOURS each day, either on game drives or to get from place to place. By the fourth day of that, we were kind of exhausted from it. But, that's Tanzania.... Rwanda was charming; had better roads, was incredibly clean.
Visiting with the several tribes we had on our itinerary was great, as was the gorilla trekking. We loved the initial game drives in Tanzania, but as mentioned, once we were able to view all the animals (we caught all the Big 5!), we decided to try different activities (waterfall hike, hot springs swim).

Highly recommended

My family and I had an absolutely fantastic safari tour with Alphadean Tours and Safaris, expertly arranged by our wonderful tour consultant, Jemimah. From the very beginning, Jemimah was incredibly helpful, patiently addressing all our questions about the practical aspects of our upcoming safari.

Her support didn't stop there—during our roundtrip, Jemimah was always there for us, promptly resolving any inquiries and happily rearranging our itinerary based on our wishes.

We had a bit of a hiccup with our luggage being delayed from the flight, but Jemimah took care of everything. While we were enjoying the stunning wildlife, she ensured our luggage was picked up from the airport and delivered directly to us on the tour.

Thanks to Jemimah and Alphadean Tours and Safaris, our safari was smooth, enjoyable, and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Very good
4/5

We took part in the 3 day Massai Mara safari tour. We loved it. Our guide Castro was very nice. Value for money was good. We stayed in a budget camp outside the park. People were lovely, food and comfort were decent. That’s all we wanted. We just have two little acknowledgments: in the list about the things that are included is botteled water. The first day we did not get any water, the second day a litre and the last day again no water. I highly recommend you’ll packe enough water and snacks on your own, as it sometimes a long drive without any break. That’s the second point too. For us the time between breaks especially toilet breaks were just too long.
Despite these points it was a great experience.

Great experience for a once only trip
4/5

So. Don’t expect a room on arrival if you’ve travelled all night ! So tired ! But the staff are lovely and rooms are all you need. Food is plentiful in the main buffet but try the other restaurants.
Safari was amazing. The guides were exceptional. But this is not a trip for young children. A French family with a child that wouldn’t listen to the guides almost spoilt our whole trip. But. Overall a great experience.
