Botswana is a safe, secure and friendly place to visit Africa. The people welcome tourists and have carefully conserved the game and birds of Africa.

Review about Namib-Naukluft National Park by ~lustedtowander~
Overall rating
5/5

Rugged. Massive. It is sublime, to experience sunrise in the dunes. But step away from the sunrise crowds, and immediately one senses the weighty responsibility of survival in the Namib Naukluft. The adventure is in that risk, and the awareness of the desert subtlety. Wildlife exposes itself as rustles in the dark and morning tracks. There is much to be learned here.

Review about Etosha National Park by ~lustedtowander~
Overall rating
5/5

There is nothing like watching a herd of elephants emerge from the shimmering white light of Etosha. Even on a luxury safari, one is immersed in the heat, can sense the patient suffering of the animals as they await the ever elusive rains. And so many animals, such diversity. Do not miss Etosha!

Review about Skeleton Coast National Park by ~lustedtowander~

Fog and sand, desert lions and ship wrecks, whales and Cape fur seals. There is no place like the Skeleton Coast.

Less "mass" touristic" than in other countries. Wild experience in preserved nature.
People in Botswana is very open and helpful.

I love Tanzania. Sometimes (especially in the North) it is a bit touristy, that's why I rated 'bush vibe' good instead of excellent. I'm not into birding.

Review about Ruaha National Park by ~lustedtowander~
Overall rating
5/5

Although the wildlife is a bit more elusive, you will have this park virtually to yourself. And it is a vast expanse of river, woodland and grassy plain open to exploration. If you self drive, you must endure the long, rough access road. But you can camp anywhere, with no neighbors except the odd cheetah. Safari as it is meant to be.

Review about Good Earth Tours & Safaris by Sandi
5/5

Good Earth allowed me to customize to my heart's content, guided me with opinions and alternatives when asked, and took the best care of us! Ask for Prosper if you are into photography at all. He has a passion for the same, and he truly enjoys helping you find the best shots! But most of all, Prosper is the perfect mix of knowledge, skilled driver (very important in the event of rain!) humor, friend, and great Eagle Eyes! lol!
