I booked our family’s private safari from the Netherlands, entirely remotely. Tabitha responded to all of my questions promptly and was incredibly helpful throughout the process. Everyone was very friendly, reliable, and everything was well organized.
Our game drives with our guide, Richard/Nkoile (Masai name), were absolutely amazing. As a Masai himself, he was able to share a wealth of knowledge about the wildlife and their behavior. He was also exceptional at spotting animals. Thanks to his expertise, we saw all of the Big Five! In many cases, we were the first to arrive at sightings, giving us the chance to observe the animals up close and take fantastic photos without the crowds.
I highly recommend Axis Safari to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari experience!!

Fantastic, beautifully done
Amazing tour. The guides, Gilbert and Yusuph, were spectacular naturalists, with eagle eyes spotting everything. We saw the entire gamut of animals. They were flexible in accommodating our large group but also gently guided us to preferred times, and encouraging patience when watching animals. They had a great sense of what was going to happen before it did, and often our patience (waiting and watching) was rewarded by novel behaviors. The price was great for our group size and all the camps/hotels easily accommodated our dietary needs. Lion King communicated exceptionally well before the trip and all the pickups/dropoffs were flawless. But the highlight was our two guides, who made the trip so memorable.

Martin is Awesome
100% Amazing, we saw loads of animals. Cheetah, Giraffes, Zebras, Hippos, Elephants, Kudus, endless Impalas. Our tour guide Martin made the trip worth it.

Best tour !
We had an amazing experience with Kihindo Tours and Safaris. Firstly, communication/booking/payment was easy. Everything was well organized. The lodge was nice, with big and clean bedrooms, comfortable beds. The food was okay.
We had the chance to have William as our guide, he did a great job. He is really passionate about nature, knows everything about everything and was really happy to share with us. Besides he’s a good driver and made us feel safe.
He was very careful not to disturb the animals, and I really appreciated this respectful approach and the time we took to really observe the animals in their environment. We had the chance to see many of them (elephants, girafes, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, wild dogs, lions…) The landscapes of the parc were interesting, with a lot of water and dead trees, which was quite unique.
Overall, a very good quality-price ratio, and we recommend the experience !

Had an amazing experience with Kihindo Tours and Safaris at Mikumi National Park! Mr. Frank was amazing from start to finish and made sure we got the best experience possible. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and really knew his way around the park. He made sure we got to see almost all the animals, which made the whole safari even more special. 4 days safari tour in Nyerere park
A very good experience with Kihindo Tours and Safaris. All well organised. William was a fantastic guide with huge knowledge about wild animals and we can feel the passion for his job and sharing with us. He was always happy to answer all our questions and does not hesitate to add other comments about wildlife. Furthermore we can discuss a lot with him during the travel from and to DAR.

Exceptional service and great experience from start to finish!
We began exploring safari tour options about 8 months before we planned to travel. We got quotes from several different tour operators through SafariBookings.com, and we decided to choose Morning Star Tours & Travel because we really appreciated the professional and thorough communication we received with a detailed itinerary and clear cost breakdown - plus responses from Dennis were always very prompt!
Communication from the time of booking until our travel was also excellent. We had to change a few accommodations due to originals being fully booked, but that was no problem, and we ended up in fantastic places, with a mix of safari camps to lodges and resorts, but we appreciated having an option to choose.
Once we started our safari, our guide, Stephen, was a true professional and expert, sharing great facts on the wildlife and Kenyan culture during trips from one park to another and on our game drives. And he was always thorough and professional in answering our many questions, no matter how simple they might have been. While in the parks, Stephen knew how to navigate every square inch, and we were able to see some incredible animals, views, and landscapes! He was quick to spot different wildlife that we didn't even see, and gave us a brief description of each animal, which was a bonus! He was also a great driver in navigating the busy roads, and we always felt safe and secure.
