An Incredible 14 Day Safari Through Kenya and Tanzania
We did a 14 day 13 night private circuit safari through Kenya and Tanzania with Twinkle Star Tours, visiting Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara, Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Amboseli National Park.
The trip started with a small hiccup when our luggage was not loaded on the plane at the origin, so it arrived the next morning. Fortunately, James from Twinkle Star Tours handled it quickly, retrieving our bags and delivering them to our accommodation in Karen before we set out for Lake Nakuru.
Over the course of the itinerary, we saw the Big Five, an uncountable number of wildebeests, enjoyed both a walking and boat safari at Lake Naivasha, visited a Masai village, took a balloon safari over the Masai Mara, explored the expansive Serengeti, discovered the surprising ecosystem within the Ngorongoro Crater, and had beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The accommodations were very well chosen, with a mix of lodges and tented camps throughout the trip. Each offered comfort, character, and great hospitality that matched the setting perfectly.
Because our route went from Kenya to Tanzania and back to Kenya, we had three guides in total, and each was excellent, skilled at driving, and dedicated to helping us see as many animals as possible.
Overall, it was an incredible and well organized safari experience, and we would highly recommend Twinkle Star Tours for anyone planning a safari in Africa.

One in a life experience!
WOW – what an amazing experience!
I would definitely recommend booking with Richard. Everything was so well organized from start to finish, and they did their best to accommodate every request along the way.
They even surprised us with a birthday cake, which was such a lovely touch! Our guide, Stanley, was wonderful – very kind and truly professional.
The safari itself was unforgettable, with stunning nature and incredible wildlife sightings. Thank you so much for everything!

Frank is a role model for customer service, he attended very unconventional specific requests, with a super kind service and rapid response. 2. Kelvin is a rockstar, he is beyond a Captain Safari, he is truly an amazing guide. He was able to be transparent, honest, dedicated and beyond special. The most friendly staff, good house, great safari in a beatyful park.
Staff is very friendly, lodge is in the middle of the nature, with monkeys, baboons ans elephants near the house.
We made 3 gamedrives, 1 by night and we saw a lot of animal. Franklin was our driver and gide and made it fantasie.
The end of our trip was a diner and the staff made it a romantic moment.
A stay at Mapuziko lodge is a moment in live we will always remember, thanks!!

excellent safari experience
We were able to organize this from Australia with minimal fuss. David was quick to respond and was able to accomodate our preferences. Our Guide Ookedisae did an excellent job of tracking the game and we saw a great variety of animals each day. Highlights were seeing a wild dog hunt, a leopard and her cub plus lots and lots of lions. The hippos come very close to camp at night and we even had honey badgers visit!! The mokoro ride was magical and our polers were very entertaining. We were also very spoilt by having Oonah as our cook and Bats-man as his offsider. The food was delicious and I was astounded by what these guys could prepare, including fresh bread daily. We had such a wonderful time and felt very blessed to have such a magic team looking after us. Our tent was spacious and ensuited (!) and the beds were comfy. All in all, a brilliant experience. We would highly recommend this.

EPIC TRIP!! From planning through execution Mike and our guide Johnson delivered for us! They were very friendly, responsive, and made every effort to deliver an amazing Safari experience for us at a reasonable cost. Our guide Johnson was a total professional! Not only did he get us close to all of the diverse wildlife including The Big Five but he also made the experience so personal!! He called us his Queens, he made fresh African coffee for us in the bush, and had our safety as a Top priority! I feel I've made a close friend in Africa! The accommodations were 5 star experiences with great views, food and personalized service! I would highly recommend Extreme Wilderness Adventures if you're planning an African Safari adventure.
