Fantastic tour with very wonderful driver Matata.
We had a wonderful tour throug the Daily Expeditions (Whats App Frank tel. 255754686905). The driver Matata is very compitent. Matata has been working for 6 years in another safari and now he has worked as driver for 6 years in Mikuni safari. Matata can explain everything about animals, knows all the roads in Mikuni safari and he is very frienly. We were one full day in safari and saw all animals except lions. Second day we had time only 1 hour to visit safari. Matata did that during that hour we could see lions in the front of our car. He drives a car very saftly. We have 3 kids with us and even it was a long drive from Dar Es Salam, I never become afraid. At nigt we stay in very nice lounge with swiming pool and good dinner and breakfest. We even saw the Massai Tribe, which was very intresting. We really recommend Daily Expedition.

Our trip to climb Kilimanjaro, go on safari and go to Zanzibar through E-Trip Africa was amazing!!!
Pre trip Ben and Aurelie were very responsive. They would return emails/ phone calls promptly and answered all of our questions fully. All of the arrangements that they made for us in Tanzania exceeded our expectations. They worked with us to customize the trip to be exactly what we wanted, from number of days in each section of the trip, to types of accommodations, they addressed questions we didn't even know we had. Their first hand experience was invaluable. Having never been to Tanzania we relied on them to ensure we had a safe, comfortable and enjoyable trip, and they delivered 10 fold.
First we did an 8-day climb up Kilimanjaro. The two nights before the climb we stayed at the Stella Maris hotel which supported a local school. The staff was warm and welcoming, the accommodations were comfortable and the food was delicious! During our climb it's probable that we had the best guides, Andrew and Rama (who combined have summited Kilimanjaro 500 times!) and porters on the mountain. They were incredibly knowledgable and professional as well as warm and patient. We absolutely couldn't have made it to the top without every one of them.
After the climb, though we were no longer staying there, the staff at Stella Maris opened a room for us to let us shower and change before heading off to the Researcher's Rest lodge for a night before heading off on safari. Little unexpected touches like this were peppered throughout our trip and really made the experience that much better. At Researchers Rest we encountered more lovely accommodations and staff. They even let us do laundry! Our Safari guide, David, picked us up for a 5 day safari the next day. Yet again, a very knowledgeable and fun guide with 25 years in the field. His experience really paid off as he was able to spot animals we wouldn't even have known were there. He easily identified all the animals and found them in the guide books so we could learn more about them. We had worked with Ben and Aurelie ahead of time on what kind of lodging we wanted in each of the parks and were more than satisfied with all the accommodations. We stayed in 2 tented lodges that were wonderful -- they heated water for showers and provided delicious meals in the dining tent. We were expecting to rough it but that was not at all the case.
Getting to Zanzibar was easy as Ben & Aurelie had set up flights directly from the Serengeti, meaning we didn't have to drive all the way back to JRO. We stayed in 2 hotels in Zanzibar, 1 in Stone Town and 1 on the north west coast. Both were beautiful and truly made us feel pampered. Again, transportation was seamless, accommodations were clean, safe and comfortable.
We would not hesitate to travel with E-Trip Africa in the future and highly recommend them to anyone who wants personalized service by knowledgeable professionals at a reasonable price.

Excellent guides
Tanzania is a fantastic Country. The people that I met, including guides, were always warm and smiling. The Country was beautiful. The owners of African Big Cat Safaris were recently part of the Safari that I went on.They were very knowlegable, warm and friendly , and had a sense of humor. They kept people informed and were good about sharing their love of Tanzinia and their own life. Lots of animals to see, including the migration. Not only were the animals great but we had interaction with the Tanzanian people and learned about their culture. We even were able to visit a Masai tribe. I recommend them highly. Thank you Emanuel and Eliza for making this trip the top of my bucket list. I will never forget it. A wonderful two weeks.

Great FIVE!
Our safari was pre-booked almost 2 months in advance. We have chosen to spend 5 days and visit Masai Mara, Nakuru lake and Naivasha.
Everything was proper organized camps, trips to national parks and food. However, camp in Masai Mara could be a little bit better. Room is good, but toilet facilities were way far to good one. Even though it didn’t spoil our experience of great nature.
Our driver James was just amazing! And yes.. we saw Big 5 including black rhino in Masai park. And it’s everything because of James. Last day in Devil Cave was not really impressive due to bad weather and we could manage to see the cave by itself. Nevertheless, it was great experience. But be ready to sit in the car a lot, to sleep in funky places and to have great fantastic trip to real Kenya.

Once in a lifetime trip with our awesome tour guide Tony, definitely recommend it!!
Tony, our driver and tour guide, was absolutely wonderful. Not only is he a kind high-character person, he is very knowledgeable about Uganda and really took the time to answer all of our questions. Tony took the time to go the extra mile to ensure our entire trip was special, and to show us his culture and beautiful country. Every minute, from when arrived early to pick us up to when he helped us with our luggage at the airport at the end of our trip, we felt completely taken care of by Tony. Friendly Gorilla Safaris was wonderful, from Anthony promptly responding to all of our emails and questions, to Tony making our trip great. Definitely recommend them!
The Gorilla hike was absolutely amazing and a once in a lifetime experience, I could not recommend it enough! You have to do this tour and you have to ask for Tony to make it even more wonderful.
A couple tips:
- Ensure that the hotel is close to where your permitted hike is located. I did not know that there are 5 locations where you can hike to see the Gorillas, depending on where your permit is for. Double check that the hotel you stay at is convenient to your permit hike site. Our hotel was the Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge, which was absolutely Wonderful and you can check out my review of them, and they are close to one of the hiking sites but it turned out that our permit was for another location so we had a 2 hour drive in the morning to get to our permit hiking site. It made for an especially early morning and a closer hotel to our hike would have been nice. Though the Rushaga really was wonderful.
- If there is a way to choose where you hike and what group of gorillas to see then you should 100% ask for the Nyakagezi group. That is the group we visited, and it was Amazing. The hike was only about 1.5 hour to see the family of gorillas which had 3 silverbacks and 2 babies. The rangers we were with were all lovely. They were so helpful to ensure we got amazing views and photos of the gorillas, and they answered all of our questions. We felt completely safe with them and had a wonderful time.
Once in a lifetime trip with our awesome tour guide Tony, definitely recommend it!!

A magical week in Kenya thanks to our wonderful guide Alex!
Communication with Monkey Adventures was very smooth: quick replies and simple booking process. Monkey Adventures offered several options for accommodation and helped us in choosing the most convenient hotels for the route we wanted.
Service was better than we could have imaged: we were greeted at the airport by a representative from Monkey Adventures and presented to our guide Alex, who joined us for a 6 days safari. Alex did a wonderful job: he is very knowledgeable, friendly and one of the most interesting persons that we met from all our trips. That is a very important characteristics when you think that you are going to spend so much time with the guide. For this reason we highly recommend to do your trips with Alex!
Last but not least, Alex had a wonderful knowledge of the birds of Kenya. This really turns your Big 5 into Big colourful 500!
