Awesome Time with Axis Africa
We had a wonderful and adventurous experience driving through the Mara with Jack and Edwin. The driver cum guides were well informed about all the animals we saw and were able to give us a detailed description of the many animals we saw. We saw every possible creature in the jungle excluding the leopard. I would do this tour again in the blink of an eye.
The rains and the uncertainty on the roads actually added to the fun factor! Thank you for a memorable time Axis Safari

Awesome!
Douglas was our tour guide for our safaris and he was amazing! He knew a lot about the wildlife which was quite helpful. As I am a wildlife photographer and because of his knowledge and skills about wildlife I was able to get good images. He was courteous and always on time ... I highly recommend him as a safari guide.

Amazing Tanzania Adventure with the family!
Ibra of Afrishare Trekking & Safaris created a wonderful 8 days Tanzania safari for us as a family! And our highly professional guide and driver Atif made sure we felt very safe and comfortable. The big Toyota Landcruiser was spacious enough for all five of us, including our luggage. We started with a supercool coffee plantation tour at the slopes of the Kilimanjaro, including a great waterfalls walk. Then next day the safari started and we did Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Indescribable what we've seen during the game drives! Thanks to the experience and fanatism of Atif we managed to see the big five and much much more! We will never forget these wildlife safari experiences.
When it's about the lodging, the 2 nights in Osupuko Tented Luxury Camp was definitely a highlight. Unique interactive shower experience in the middle of the Serengeti at 6.30 am, what can you wish more? Also the last stay, close to Arusha, at the Mambo Hideaway was soo convenient.
Ibra was online available during the whole tour for support and some finetuning about the overnight stays and he managed all the time to solve things properly and satisfying.
We highly recommend Afrishare Trekking and Safaris if you want a guaranteed unforgettable and professional arranged Tanzania safari experience. And ask for Atif as guiding driver!

Amazing
Had one of the best guides Amazing Safari has Joseph.
He tried to accommodate all our needs to the best of his ability.
Always best to split up your safari in 2 morning and evening.
The Ark hotel was not the best small rooms.
Best if you do the hotel Aberdare Country Club which is next to it.
Large independent lodges with a peaceful environment.
The van was ok for 2 persons max 4 persons.
Great wheather in June.
If you can take a small plane on the long trips which take 7hrs or more it is worth it. Since the roads are very bumpy. They call it the african massage.
The whole experience was fantastic and our tour company was superb.
Highly recommend them.

Unforgettable Uganda adventure with the family!
We were looking for a professional, reliable and affordable party who could help us to organize a family private tour of Uganda. After some research on the internet I came in contact with Sander van Zanten from Grassrootz. He turned out to be the perfect partner and Uganda expert for us! We could easily make our wishes and demands known and in no time Sander proposed a wonderful 8-day Uganda adventure. Exactly what we were looking for and in line with our budget. It was arranged quickly and top.
From July 27 to August 3, 2019, we discovered Uganda as a family. And all this under the guidance of the fantastic driver and guide Bob. How nice it was for us to have such an experienced, calm and professional guide. From the start we felt like five of us at home with Bob in the 4WD Toyota Van and he definitely contributed a lot to our travel pleasure. So always ask for Bob when you book a Uganda trip through Grassrootz!
We especially wanted to gain the 'jungle experience' in Uganda, knowing that we would then go to the savannas of Tanzania. The adventure tour therefore went from Kibale Forest, to Southern Queen Elizabeth Park, via Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to Lake Mburo National Park. Unbelievable, the richness of flora and fauna that we have seen, indescribable actually. We wanted to stay in comfortable budget lodges, surrounded by nature. This was also a big hit, with Dave the Cave Ecolodge (Queen Elizabeth) and Broadbill Forest Camp (Bwindi) as top accommodations.
What I found particularly cool about Uganda is that the country has almost everything in terms of flora and fauna, a lot is still untouched and the people are so open, pure and optimistic. Tanzania may be (more) famous for, among other things, the Serengeti and the large amount of wildlife, but because of the growing tourism you will notice that you are seen more as a 'walking wallet' and in Uganda this is definitely not the case. Also in Uganda we have seen a lot of wildlife up close, without a crowd of jeeps around you. We also did a Chimp trek in peace, sailed through the swamp and spotted birds in the jungle and you rarely saw other tourists around you. Unique experiences! Due to the young age of the children we did not do a Gorilla trekking but I can tell from experience that Uganda (and Grassrootz) has much more to offer than this famous attraction.
All in all, thanks to Sander and Bob, Grassrootz has given us, as a family, an unforgettable Uganda adventure. I would like to recommend Sander and Grassrootz to tailor your Uganda trip and ask for Bob as a guide/driver. Success guaranteed!
And ..... if you have any doubts between the well-known Tanzania / Kenya or the relatively unknown Uganda ?: GO UGANDA! The Green Pearl of Africa!

An unforgettable experience!
My friends and I visited Tanzania back on August 2019. The trip was amazing and once in lifetime experience. Aenea and his team did a fantastic job communicating with us, finding out our travel style and creating a trip that was perfect for us. We got to experience the best of Tanzania main land and Island and loved every minute of it. We loved seeing all of the different animals, the parks were amazing. We did climb mountain Kilimanjaro and it was an awesome experience.

Wonderful Experience
Safari was amazing and wonderful.
Ali was a great driver and did everything to accommodate everyone. Unfortunately we had a woman in our group who would not be happy. I'm sure you get those kinds of people.
I appreciated Ali's patience and efforts.
Thanks

3- Day Kruger National Park Experience with Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris
My experience with Elephant Herd Tours was excellent! They were very attentive since the beggining, responding to all my e-mails very quickly. They organized everything, our transfer from Johanesburg, our hotel and the safari. The safari was awesome, we were able to see all the Big Five thanks to our guide Keegan.
I highly recommend Elephant Herd Tours.

Excellent, Informative & Thrilling Bucket-List Adventure
We had a party of eight people spanning three generations. Everyone was entertained and engaged the entire trip. Aenea Makoninde is a fantastic guide and driver, and funny, too. One day in Ngorgoro Crater my mother asked, "Where are the lions? I want to see lions!" Aenea picked up his phone and "made a call." He said, "Yes, hello, Mr. Lion. I hope you are doing well today. We have a request from Bibi [Swahili for Grandmother] to see you today. Oh. Ok. We will see you then. Thank you. Goodbye." After hanging up, he explained that Mr. Lion is very busy today, but he will try very hard to meet with us at around two PM. I asked Aenea, "Why do you speak English with the lion instead of Swahili?" Without missing a beat, he explained, "Of course we can speak in Swahili, but when I speak in English he understands that these visitors are not local and because they come from far away, he will do his best to be on time." We drove around for the next few hours through herds of zebra and wildebeest. We watched a pack of hyenas take down a pregnant gnu and divide up the spoils. We saw many birds and other animals like warthogs. Eventually at just about two o'clock, Aenea said to my mother, "Bibi, look over to your left. There is a pride of lions resting on that small hill. Mr. Lion has kept his appointment as you requested." Sure enough, there they were. It was magical.
