Our family were at the Luangwa house over Christmas and the most exceptional and unforgettable time
Luangwa house is a Robin Pope owned 4 bedroom special house overlooking a lagoon in the south luangwa park to which elephants, impala,warthog, baboons frequent.It is the most stunning house and photos do not do it justice .In addition, the staff are so professional and friednly and the food deserves a michelin star. We spent a family christmas there and to have christmas dinner on the deck with all the trimmings and surrounded by the most beautiful african flora and fauna cannot be beaten. In addition, the game drives are the best i have ever been on and in the space of 3 days, saw herds of elephants , leopards, hyenas with a stolen leopard kill, wild dogs, a 3 metre python, lions,hippos along with a wide range of impala, waterbuck, bush buck and eland !

A great holiday organised by a very professional company
Matoke tours organised a 12 night "mid-range" tour of Uganda for us, staying in 5 different locations and visiting 4 parks around the country. Advance communication was always prompt and detailed, as well as personal and friendly. The itinerary worked well, although due to road conditions in Uganda some journeys were quite long. Organisation of the trip was faultless with every last park permit, ticket booking etc. dealt with perfectly. The lodges they selected were excellent, with comfort, food and service always matching, or exceeding, the advertised descriptions. Our guide was absolutely first rate, very experienced and knowledgeable, and also very thoughtful about making sure that we had a good holiday.
I would thoroughly recommend Matoke Tours, and hope one day to travel with them again.

Great safari experience with friendly and knowledgeable guide
Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and a great driver who took us safely to all interesting places and was able to spot all the big and ugly five as well as lots of other animals for us. Most other vans got stuck because of rain and muddy roads but we managed to get through safely without any issues. The car is comfortable and great for game drives. Our guides cleaned it every evening. The hotels are good enough (not european standard but good for safari. Wifi is usually not great) and dinner and lunch was always tasty. We very much recommend this tour to everyone who is looking for a diverse tour and wants to see a lot of wildlife (from boat, car, bike and walking).

Highly recommended for a quick safari trip from Dar Es Salaam - the guides were excellent and very accommodating. Food was great as well. Good for those traveling on a budget!

Great Experience on Maasai Mara Kenya Tour
John Muhoho is very responsive by way of answering questions. He tailored the tour to suit my exact needs. Although I have not been able to compare his prices with other tour operators, I was informally told by others that the amounts I paid were in the right ballpark. The driver assigned to my tour van was knowledgeable of the safari routes, spoke English, and was very professional. The hotel included in my tour package was amazing (Sopa Lodge) and provided a lovely and very comfortable respite after long days of bumpy road trips. Very good experience overall and hence my 5-star rating for CKC Tours.

The entire team at Kagabo Adventures and Safaris are one of a kind!
