Good tour for a good price
The communication in advance was really good, all my questions got answered quickly. The booking process itself was really easy. Even though the weather wasn't the best our guide James made it an awesome experience for us. Organization was really good and we really enjoyed our tour!

Fabulous, fuss free and extremely responsive!
Kathi was the person we communicated with from the start. She was extremely helpful and responsive, and her detailed itinerary for us from the start was so helpful in giving us a good idea of what each day looked like as well as travel times, accommodations etc. all the accommodations she chose for our group were wonderful. The safari tour was definitely the highlight of our time in South Africa. Mills Manor was the perfect space for our large group and the staff there were extremely thoughtful and attentive. Our ranger/guide for our stay was very knowledgeable and every meal was a feast! I would highly recommend working with Kathi!

Excellence and Trustable Service
I sent my Masai Mara safari enquiry to many tour operators for the quotations. I chose African Hartebeest Safaris at the end, fortunately, I picked the right one. I contacted with Beverlyn, sales rep. of the company. She responded my e-mail quite fast. The communication was in easy, straightforward, reliable and professional way. I highly recommended this company.

Very well organised and the best guide
We visited Masai Mara Reserve and Nakuru National Park in July this year, so apologies for the late review. As other have said, there are two parts to the safari: the organising and the guide who takes you on the safari. We had Rachel from African Habitat Safari Holidays, who organised everything for us and Obama was our guide for the 5 day/4 night safari.
Rachel is a professional. She knows what she is doing and is very good at putting together an itinerary based on your needs. We wanted to spend as much time as possible at Masai Mara, so we had two whole days in the park plus an afternoon game drive. Rachel did a complete itinerary for us which explained everything in great detail – right from airport pick up to drop off at the airport. The day to day itinerary also showed us what to expect on those days. She kept in touch throughout the whole process and answered our emails very promptly. You cannot go wrong with Rachel.
Obama, our travel guide is much more than a guide. You would expect most guides to just learn on the job but it was immediately obviously that Obama has gone beyond that. It was only later that we found out that he had studied much more than what was required for this job and that he was still studying to go to the highest level possible. His knowledge on the Kenyan flora and fauna is phenomenal. While we all wanted see the big cats (which we saw plenty of), we were also interested in the unique trees and different types of antelopes. Obama knew it all.
Obama is also has a very calm and friendly personality which shows in his driving skills and how he treats the environment around him. He is a very safe driver and is very considerate of the park requirements. He is very patient and relaxed which makes our experience so much better.
If we ever go on another safari, my family have already asked me to have it arranged by Rachel and insist on Obama as our guide!

negligent, slovenly and non-professional
It was the fourth time that we had booked with Impala, but there will be no fifth time. Pick-up was arranged at the airport, but unfortunately there was none when we arrived in the lobby of the airport. I had to call Impala to find out what's going on. I was told by phone that the taxi driver was on the way. As an excuse for the delay, Derselbige argued that South African Airways (SAA) had released unclear strike information. A look at the SAA homepage would have been enough to find out that our flight was not on strike because it was operated by a SAA partner company. As a rental car we, a couple, were given an old VW bus with over 300,000 kilometers driven, eight seats and minor technical defects (rear side doors only opened with trick 17); completely unsuitable for two people, who even in the national parks clunked nervously even at low speed, i.e. it was not a pleasure to go on the stalk with this vehicle myself. Contrary to a full tank, it was only a quarter full, so that our first course (drive) led to the next gas station after receiving the rental car. I honestly have to add, but if I only return the car with a full tank. Two of the lodges rented through Impala informed us on arrival that our reservation had been canceled due to a lack of payment. The result was my hectic phone calls with Impala, whose assurance that payment would still be made during our stay, which was the case. Unfortunately, Impala made no apology or a word of regret in either case. Conclusion: Business dealings were careless, sloppy and unprofessional. This is not how you deal with regular customers.

I dont think anyone else can make it better than what it was.
I contacted them to book it the next day with feeling that it is impossible to find availability that easy, but they found a place for me within minutes and the trip itself was perfect, unfortunately I knew them in my last 2 days in South Africa, if I am going back to SA again I will certainly depend on them from day 1.

The Safari you dream of
My safari with Lion King was the safari I've always dreamed of going on. It far exceeded expectations in every sense. There is not a single thing I can complain about. It was perfect. Lion King took care of everything for us. We went during the off-season and it felt like we had the Serengeti and Ngorongoro to ourselves with the animals. We thought we were going to get stuck in the rain, but it only rained briefly on one day and it was honestly a surreal way to experience it. Do not be scared of a little rain on your safari! We were happy to trade a little rain for not spending tons of time behind other safari vehicles.
The accommodations that Lion King booked were incredible: beautiful views and amenities and since it was the off-season, we had the lodges to ourselves as well. It felt like a completely private trip. I highly recommend going during early December, it was a truly magical experience.
Our Lion King guide was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. He went above and beyond in every way. He knew so much about both the Serengeti and Ngorongoro and was able to help us find the elusive leopard up close, which was the highlight of the trip for me. He was fun to be around and went above and beyond in every way to make us feel comfortable and to find the hard-to-spot animals.Spend the extra dollars with Lion King, you will not regret it.

High Five with the Big Five of Kenya in Five Days !!!!
We had one of our best trips in recent times with Monkey Adventures!
We booked the 5 days Kenya safari, and Nyani helped us with the booking and shared information regarding all the preparation necessary. Upon arrival at Nairobi, Yvonne met us at the airport for a briefing and we were informed of the plan for the next 5 days.
Joseph was our driver and guide, and he was fantastic. Thanks to his expertise and our luck(as he says), we were able to spot each of the Big Five in the trip. He kept us entertained with his immense knowledge of the place and the witty jokes. We had a nice relaxed day at Naivasha, with the boating and the walk in the island, before heading to Nakuru. We had missed sighting the Rhino in Masai Mara, but we were delighted to see a couple of them in Nakuru National park.
The camps that were recommended to us were good, and as we expected our stay to be. Nyani had ensured that they know of my wife’s allergy to peanuts, and they had cooked dishes separately for her, without using peanuts. That was a great gesture.
We thank Monkey Adventures for a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for those who wish to have a great time in Africa!

Incredible experience
We had an amazing safari experience with Suricata Safari. they arranged everything for us, transfers to and from the airport to the hotel, pickups at the beginning and end of the trip and of course all of the camping and trips through Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. Everything went as smooth as it possibly could, and in just our 3 day trip we managed to find all of the big five, along with so many others. The food we were provided with for breakfast, lunch and dinner during our time was delicious and kept us going on the long days. Experienced driver stopped at all the best views and we saw so many incredible things its hard to believe it happened all in such a short space of time. They checked in with us at the end of our Safari to make sure everything had run smoothly and that everything was as we expected, which it was and more. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Safari adventure.
