We were incredibly lucky to have Kelvin as our safari guide. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about wildlife and nature. His ability to spot animals from unbelievable distances was amazing, and he always made sure we were in the best position for incredible sightings and photos.Kelvin is from the Maasai community, and one of the most special parts of our journey was learning about Maasai culture directly from him. He generously shared stories, traditions, customs, and insights into Maasai life, which added a unique and enriching dimension to our safari experience.Beyond being an excellent guide, Kelvin is a wonderful person—kind, patient, and always smiling. He shared fascinating information about the animals, local culture, and Tanzania throughout the trip, making the experience both exciting and educational.Thanks to Kelvin, our safari became a true once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. Victor did an incredible job at making us feel welcomed and took great care of us during the trip. He gave us numerous fun and fascinating facts about the animals, culture, people, and geographical too! I definitely recommend him as he made the trip way better than it already was!

Where do I even begin. Kelvin is not just a guide, he is a storyteller, a tracker, and one of the most passionate people I have ever met. My partner Carmen and I came to Amboseli with high hopes, and Kelvin exceeded every single one of them.
From the very first game drive, it was clear this man was on a different level. He read the land like a map animal behaviour, wind direction, distant dust clouds, things we would have driven straight past.
Elephants A massive herd of 30 crossing the plain with Kilimanjaro rising behind them. Kelvin knew everything about them, Jaw-dropping.
Lions — He spotted a lioness stalking through tall grass that we would have completely missed. We watched her and two cubs for nearly an hour.
Cheetah — The highlight of the trip. A mother with three cubs resting under an acacia. Kelvin told us most visitors never see cheetah in Amboseli. We felt incredibly lucky.
Buffalo, Hippos, Giraffes, Zebras — All spectacular, always perfectly positioned by Kelvin for photos.
Birds — Kelvin is a brilliant birder too. He pointed out the Lilac-breasted Roller, Grey Crowned Cranes, Pelicans gliding over the swamps, a Spur-winged Goose, Blacksmith Plovers by the waterline, Marabou Storks, Superb Starlings.
The only sadness was that Kelvin couldn't join us for the Masai Mara leg — we were flying and a different vehicle was arranged there. We genuinely considered changing the plan just to keep him with us. That is how good he is.
Kelvin, thank you. You made our Kenya safari the most memorable trip of our lives. We will be back and will be asking for you by name.
Plus he speaks no only English but Spanish, as well!

Our guide, Khalifa, was outstanding—professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the Masai Mara. His expertise helped us spot incredible wildlife and made the whole trip unforgettable. Amazing safari, our guide Victor did an amazing job and went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see. He catered to us perfectly and always made sure we were happy. He had lots of information about every animal and could perfectly answer every question we threw at him.

We did a 3 day safari with Uwander tours and safari’s at the end of May 2026, it was amazing from start to finish. We stayed at Selous safari lodge , the lodges were spacious and extremely clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and Dorcas was very accommodating and knowledgeable with me been Gluten free (Coeliac) the food was amazing and plentiful. Rafael and Pori were our safari adventure guides, they were friendly and so accommodating to us, Rafael was so knowledgeable and was always happy to answer any questions that we had, always polite and very respectful. Pori was an amazing driver and always made sure we had the best photo opportunity position , we would definitely recommend the company to our friends and family, and we can’t thank Rafael and Pori enough for making this Safari experience something we will never forget 😊😊
