We just completed an amazing 7-day, 6-night camping safari in Tanzania.
From the planning phase, Gwen was extremely helpful and responsive, answering all our questions on WhatsApp within a day and keeping us well-supported throughout the process.
On the road, our guide Julius was top-notch—knowledgeable, friendly, and great at explaining everything. Even when minor challenges came up during the trip, he handled them smoothly and ensured we had the best possible experience.
A special shoutout to our chef, Sule, who was absolutely incredible! He cooked delicious meals every single day and was always super accommodating and friendly.

Our guide, Solomon, is not only highly experienced but also a meticulous, warm, and humorous person—truly connected to this land and its wildlife. He possesses an amazing ability to spot wild animals, almost like having the eyes of an eagle. A guardian of the wilderness, he always respects wildlife, strictly adheres to Safari rules, and demonstrates the true spirit of the Safari to us.

This safari was absolutely GREAT! From start to finish, everything was amazing.
Francisca (also known as Fatimah) is such a kind, warm, caring, and responsive person. She goes above and beyond to help, and if any issue comes up, she will do everything she can to solve it. She was incredibly flexible and helpful throughout the whole experience. She even continued helping me in Zanzibar after my safari had ended, which I truly appreciated. She has such a kind heart and is also a very dedicated professional.
As for the safari itself, my driver was Pascual and my chef was Salim. Both of them were incredibly kind, caring, and attentive. As a solo traveler, I honestly don’t think I could have felt better taken care of. They made me feel safe, comfortable, and truly looked after throughout the entire trip. I saw the big fives!!

An Unforgettable Tanzania Safari with an Exceptional Guide
At the end of July 2026, we landed in Tanzania and began our first safari journey with great curiosity and excitement. At the beginning, we knew very little about the wildlife and animals we were about to encounter.
Fortunately, we were assigned an exceptional guide named Wilson. From our very first impression, he stood out as extremely knowledgeable yet remarkably humble and approachable. Unlike many guides, Wilson’s knowledge extends far beyond wildlife. Throughout our journey and conversations, he explained everything we saw and everything we asked about—from animal habitats and plants to local culture, history, geography, and much more.
What impressed me most was Wilson’s extensive experience with animal behavior, along with his exceptional powers of observation and insight. Following his guidance, we were fortunate not only to witness the spectacular Great Migration and exciting hunting scenes, but also to develop a much deeper understanding and appreciation of Tanzania’s wildlife and nature.
Thanks to this fantastic guide, we experienced an unforgettable and highly educational journey that far exceeded our expectations.

Andrew and Moses were very caring, great guides and trackers who knew every road in Zambia.
In July of 2026 we spent 2 weeks on safari in Zambia with Moses and Andrew from Exploration Africa Wildlife and Safaris. We had never been on safari in Zambia before although we had been to most of the other countries in Southern Africa over the last 12 years. My wife Eveline and I had flown from Australia to Lusaka and were greeted by Moses and Andrew at the airport. Over the next two weeks we had one of the best safaris we could have wished for. We travelled to Kafue National Park and tented in beautiful campsites with all facilities. We experienced the southern and northern parts of the park seeing all the wildlife up close and personal. We visited the vast Bursanga plains watching lions, leopards, vultures and all the plains animals in this unique ecosystem. It was breathtaking. One morning while having breakfast a pack of African wild dogs chased an impala through our camp on the hunt. As quick as a flash we were off on the hunt as well. This was an unbelievable experience. Later we ventured down to the Lower Zambezi National Park via Lusaka where we stayed overnight in a beautiful Lodge. Our trip through the Churundu Mountains was picturesque and enjoyable showing us the heart of Zambia. Our lodge was on the banks of the Zambezi River where every night we would hear the hippos and hyeanas singing us to sleep. There were vervet monkeys and baboons close by entertaining us during rest periods. We would have long game drives every day during our stay where we saw many elephants, lmpala, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Kudu, Warthogs and Baboons. The birdlife was amazing and then we saw lions feasting on a buffalo and a leopard on the hunt for an Impala. I felt we encountered every animal God put on earth during our stay in Zambia. Our meals were amazing as both Moses and Andrew are top chefs on the open fire cooking delicious meals every day. Overall I would say this Safari In Zambia was exciting and lived up to all our expectations and more. We didn’t want it end but feel we will be back again in the not too distant future.

An experience of a lifetime
We had a wonderful time with Jocky Tours and with our guide and driver, Brian Muthui.
We were a group of 7 people. Brian Muthui knows his way around the Maasai Mara Natl Park! He spotted a male lion and we were able to see it sleeping barely a few meters in front of us. We also were lucky enough to witness the Great Migration thanks to Brian Muthui who knew to communicate with other guides and waiting until the right place and time. It was such a thrill and an experience we'll remember for a lifetime. We highly recommend Brian Muthui as a guide.

Best experience ever!!!
Our safari with Luwai Tanzania Safari from July 2–11 was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we could not recommend him more highly.
From the very beginning, everything was incredibly well organized, but what made this trip truly unforgettable was the people, especially our guide, Silas. He was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge seemed endless; he could identify virtually any bird we encountered and tell us fascinating details about it, and his ability to track wildlife was unbelievable. There were moments when we could barely see an animal ourselves, sometimes only an ear above the grass, and Sillas somehow knew exactly where to look and what was happening.
Thanks to him, we were able to experience some truly unimaginable moments, including an incredible leopard sighting that he personally tracked down for us. Seeing the great wildebeest migration was another unforgettable highlight and something our family will talk about for years to come.
What made Silas so special, though, went far beyond his skills as a guide. He made our family feel completely welcomed from the moment we met him. He was so accommodating, kind, and thoughtful that it genuinely felt like we had known him for years. He didn't just show us Tanzania, he shared it with us. On our first day, he took the time to show us his town and introduce us to aspects of his culture and everyday life. That personal connection meant so much to our family, and by the end of the trip, we had developed a genuine friendship with him.
The places we stayed throughout the trip were also amazing, with beautiful views, wonderful food, and incredibly welcoming staff. Every accommodation added something special to the experience, and we always felt comfortable and well taken care of.
Our itinerary through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Central Serengeti, and Northern Serengeti gave us such an incredible variety of landscapes and wildlife, but it was the combination of the breathtaking places, unforgettable encounters, and especially the people who shared the experience with us that made this trip so meaningful.
We came to Tanzania hoping for an incredible safari, but we left with memories that our entire family will treasure for the rest of our lives, and a friendship with Silas that we never expected to make along the way.
