Discover Africa helped me and my family have an unforgettable and unique experience.
We had a wonderful experience with Discover Africa from the planning stage all the way through to the end of the trip. I communicated what my family was looking for with a visit to Africa and Vihann helped construct a trip that provided the quality and experience to match our wishes. Using a travel agent, communication is of the upmost importance and Vihann was readily available during all parts of planning via email and even during the trip via WhatsApp. If you choose to visit multiple countries in Africa and remote locations within those countries, transportation and logistics can be very challenging and we were consistently at ease during our travel knowing that we'd always be in the correct place at the correct time because of Discover Africa. There were no hiccups or concerns going between locations and that alone made using Discover Africa worth it. In addition to logistics, Vihann chose incredible accommodations at each location in Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. The camps in in Botswana (African Bush Camps Kwai Lediba & Atzaro Okavango) and Zimbabwe (Old Drift Lodge) were luxurious and intimate and the staff at the camps made our stays far exceed expectations. On top of the camp hosts and staff being personable and accommodating, the safari guides were extremely knowledgeable and made it possible for us to see every kind of wildlife we wished to that were native in the areas (including lions, elephants, leopards, hyaenas, hippos, and wild dogs). While the price for the overall trip can change quite a bit based on the accommodations you choose, I strongly recommend paying the additional dollars for the comfort and service that you receive at the higher end camps. Overall we had an amazing trip due to the planning and service provided by Discover Africa and Vihann. I would absolutely use them again in the future knowing that we would be taken care of and set up for success.

Very kind and friendly
Our trip with Angelino Adventures was the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. We started with a Tanzania safari in the world famous Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire, where we saw elephants, cheetahs, lions, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, elands, giraffes, gazelles, zebras and so many wildebeests during the migration season. Every day on safari was thrilling, and our guide (Ray) from Angelino Adventures made the experience smooth, safe, and exciting.
After the safari, we flew to Zanzibar Island, and the contrast was magical. The crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches, and vibrant culture of Stone Town made it the ideal way to unwind after days of adventure. We enjoyed snorkeling, spice tours, blue safari, and relaxing at beachfront resorts. Neptune Resort was simply wonderful.
This Tanzania safari and Zanzibar package truly gave us the best of both worlds. Wildlife and wilderness on safari, followed by tropical paradise on the Indian Ocean coast. For anyone looking for the ultimate African holiday, I can’t recommend Angelino Adventures enough. They specialize in crafting tailor-made safari and beach holidays in Tanzania, and it exceeded all our expectations.

The trip was amazing and Chloe was very helpful!
Our Africa adventure was exceptional! We enjoyed getting to see Victoria falls and our safari was more than we could’ve ever wished for. Chloe was awesome about getting everything set up for us and promptly answered all our questions. The accommodations were so nice and the included transfers gave us peace of mind and one less thing to have to figure out on our own! We’ve told everyone about our trip and definitely would love to return to Africa again and book through Off2Africa!

A beautiful and memorable lifetime experience
Our experience with Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris was a dream from end-to-end. First, we worked closely with Beatrice to customize our safari itinerary. She was very helpful and patient in answering all of our questions. Being based in the United States, her support gave us both trust and confidence that we would have the best safari possible, which is exactly what happened. During the trip, she also checked in to ensure things were running smoothly and we caught the flights scheduled. Thank you for helping us coordinate all the details and being a critical part of our planning!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 6-day safari with our guide, Bashir, who truly made it an unforgettable experience. Bashir is incredibly knowledgeable about all of the areas we visited - from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater - and all of the animals within them, including which areas are home to specific types of animals. He was always patient and checked in on us frequently to ensure we were enjoying ourselves or had any questions. Bashir went above and beyond to ensure we saw the great migration and specific animals on our wishlist. We learned a lot from him, and gained an even greater appreciation for the land we visited and animals we saw. He is a high quality tour guide. We left our safari experience with full hearts and a wonderful friend in Bashir!!!
This trip was important to us and one we planned for over a year. Many times during our trip we felt so lucky to have selected this company for our honeymoon. We were very sad to leave! This experience and the memories made will stay with us forever.

Extremely Qualified, Personable, and Professional Team
Although my wife and I are relatively experienced travelers, this was our first experience on safari, so in choosing our operator we were both systematic and meticulous in preparing our shortlist and, ultimately, selecting Antonio’s as our operator. In the final analysis, in their capacity they excelled.
Ours was a 9-month planning process, ultimately resulting in a shortlist of 5 operators between which we’d selected their respective standard packages of 8 days in Amboseli and Maasai Mara. During our process to choose amongst these 5 finalists, Naomi of Antonio’s front office proved to be both attentive and patient in answering our various queries as they emerged. In ultimately deciding between those on our shortlist, Naomi won out by working patiently with us to customize our itinerary, tailoring the number of days at each location to suit our personal preferences, and her patience in working with us and her patient attentiveness were amongst the biggest deciding factors in our going with Antonio’s.
Arriving in Nairobi, our luggage did not arrive with us, and the airline informed us they wouldn’t arrive until the following morning, coinciding with the first day of our tour. In working through the problem, Naomi coordinated the timing of our bag’s arrival with our itinerary and our driver Francis to come up with a plan plus a contingency plan to avert what might otherwise have been a disaster. In the end, we met Francis at our hotel, picked up our bags at the airport enroute, and were smoothly on our way for day one of our safari adventure, proving that our trust in Antonio’s was well placed.
We spent the next 8 days with our guide Francis, who is as warm, attentive, and personable fellow as one may hope to happen upon, especially in a strange and foreign land, and he became our eyes and our teacher and we made our way upon our Great Adventure. Amboseli and Maasai Mara are some distance apart, requiring the crossing of vast tracts of countryside on under often trying driving conditions. He proved very skillful at negotiating highway conditions at the optimal balance between speed and safety, and we always felt safe in our Land Rover bubble. Kenyan roads are pockmarked with potholes, and he always did his level best in steering to avoid the worst of them. Moreover, in navigating the routing he reached out to other guides to determine that which could avoid the 18-wheeler snarls that plague some portions of that country’s highways.
Along the way he was attentive to our needs, constantly checking if we wanted another bottle of water or needed a roadside rest. Whenever asked, whether it was Mt. Longenot, the Devil’s Gate, or the Loita Plains he always seemed know both the local landmark and something of it’s history. His knowledge of the animals and their habits proved to be exceptional, and whenever we encountered a new species we’d not yet seen he would come to a gradual stop, point the animal out, and describe something of its characteristics for us. In this way we rounded out our understanding as elephants, zebras, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, wildebeest, giraffes, hartebeest, topi, impala, buffalo, hippos, elephants, ostrich, jackals, cheetahs, lions, and many, many others were gradually added to our visual repertoire.
In addition to his personal skills, Francis proved to be an avid and accomplished professional guide. His extreme patience in awaiting the animal’s next move, combined with his uncanny ability to anticipate its movements, paid dividends. This culminated on our last day when we were rewarded with his situating us in the unexcelled vantage point to observe a cheetah’s hunt of a gazelle, beginning with the cat’s quiet observation of its prey, the launching of her chase, the gazelle’s dodging escape, and the cheetah’s finally settling in to await its next hunt.
Altogether, one could not hope for a more professional, qualified, experienced, and personable safari crew than that of Antonio’s and we wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend them to anyone planning their perfect safari dream adventure.

Utterly amazing and unforgettable.
There are not enough positive words to say about Polecat Safaris. From start to finish they have gone above and beyond and made our experience unforgettable. The safari days were 11/10 and better than imagined and the accommodation chosen for us was simply incredible.
We can’t thank you enough for making our dream holiday into more than we hoped for.
Manfred, our driver was truly amazing and we cannot rate him highly enough - he will do his upmost to ensure your expectations are met and you will be in great hands.

From our experience,avoid this company
Only now, when I was about to leave a review, I noticed that several reviews were from locals with a single review, and several others complained about the same experience we had.
Furthermore, the photos weren't actually taken, but were taken online.
In summary, we had a terrible experience and I would advise everyone against using this agency. I've also reported them to the Italian consulate for their utter dishonesty.
I contacted them for a quote, and they responded very kindly and offered me a solution.
I asked if it was possible to make some changes since it was a private tour.
Everything was accepted.
The initial tour includes 8 days and 7 nights at a cost of $4,995:
- Airport transfers, accommodation and meals only
- Tarangire National Park, accommodation and meals
- Serengeti National Park, accommodation and meals
- Central Serengeti National Park, accommodation and meals
- Ngorongoro Crater, accommodation and meals
- Lake Manyara National Park, accommodation and meals
- Materuni Waterfall, accommodation and meals
- Airport transfer
I decide to modify the itinerary based on my needs by booking the initial and final accommodations and two intermediate ones myself, after asking them for confirmation. The program is modified so that I can do a one-day light trek on Kilimanjaro and have more time for the Serengeti: therefore, 6 days and 2 nights are at their expense.
The final program will be as follows:
- Mount Kilimanjaro Trek
- Tarangire National Park, accommodations and meals
- Serengeti National Park, meals
- Central Serengeti National Park, meals
- Serengeti National Park, accommodations and meals
- Ngorongoro Crater, meals
You'd think the total would decrease, right?
But no, because I'm told the initial offer remains the same (so they're already making money on the four nights I won't be using) and all additional expenses are my own.
New total requested $5,870, as you can see from the attached images.
Almost $1,000 for the changes.
The program still mentions full days spent in the various parks.
Initially, I try to negotiate, but given the limited availability, I decide to let it go and insist that everything go smoothly because it's the vacation of a lifetime...
Everything was fine on the first day, but already on the second day, the surprises began:
- rooms in the second day's accommodation had mold-covered walls and unbreathable air (and we thought it was a mix-up that led to our amicable termination)
- they didn't pay the accommodation fees, causing us to be in trouble because they had to pay them at the park entrance, but we never went to the register (read what's listed as included in their offer, and in any case, they specifically asked me for the money to pay them)
- they said, despite it being stated in the contract, that for the days we had the accommodations, no meals were included, despite it being stated in the contract and no one having notified us.
- to earn about $400 more, they forced us to get up between 5 and 6 for two consecutive days, because by compressing our hours, they saved themselves from paying for a day of access to the Serengeti.
Let's just say we spent the third day pissed off, having found the manager to be a total pain.
On our last day in the Serengeti, in particular, we spent three hours at the park gate arguing about the fact that we had paid for an extra day to stay there (about $1,000), and at 9:45 they were taking us out.
Truly embarrassing.
The only positive note was the truly exceptional guides, especially Samwel!
What more can I say? Avoid them completely.

An outstanding tour at Nairobi national park
Bon Africa has an outstanding and amazing tour guide Duncan Paul,,,it was amazing tour we enjoyed and we managed to see different world animals like Liones, giraffe, zebra, monkey, different kinds of birds, antelopes, hippopotamus, warthog and other's animals. It was incredible and amazing tour with bon Africa tours and safaris.
