Very fantastic time in our life
During our safari we were well supported by our guide hosa. Always helpful and friendly. Many good infos also. We also liked the locations kilimanjaro, lake manyana, serengeti and ngorongoro crater. So beautiful animals and landscapes. Always supportive by tour operator and guides. Most of the hotels we liked.

Trip Of A Lifetime
This trip has been on my bucket list for many years and it did not disappoint. It's hard to explain the beauty and grandeur of this trip. I thought we would be seeing the animals with binoculars and never once thought we would be pulling up right beside lions and every other type of African animal you can imagine. The proximity to the animals was breathtaking and yet I never once felt uncomfortable or unsafe. Our tour guide Cornell was simply the best! This trip had it all, not only did we do a safari, we also visited historic Stonetown and then had a relaxing beach getaway on the island of Zanzibar. A big thank you to Justin Wollin (Wild Mind Travel) for setting everything up and tailoring this experience to be everything I could have ever asked for.

Fantastic 3-day Safari to Amboseli and Tsavo West
It was very easy to communicate with KingTomondo and customize our safari as we wanted.
Our driver picked us up in the early morning in our Nairobi hotel and we went to Amboseli NP. We have seen there hundreds of elevants, many antilopes, lions, cheetahs and many others. Our driver Alfa was very nice and he told us about every animal we have seen. And of course there was a beautiful view to Kilimanjaro, we were lucky because there were no clouds. After Amboseli we went to Tsavo West NP. Like our driver Alfa said that every national park in Kenya is different. And it was true. Tsavo West was totally different from Amboseli. Lots of bushes and trees, many hills. Both parks are very beautiful on its own way. In our last day we had a 'game drive' in the morning and after that we went to our hotel on Diani beach.
Thank you very much KingTomondo for this experience and lifetime memories!
Highly recommend safari with KingTomondo.

When people make the differevce
For some time constraints me and my friends chose a 4-day tour that brought us also to visit the Blyde river canyon. The choice fell on this proposal from Red Africa Safaris becasue they seemed to have put together a very interesting itinerary with some expereicens, like the cruise on the dam I had not seen anywhere alse on Safari Bookings. As we were a little pressed for time I had to request to slightly tailor the tour to our needs and Amelia was super helpful and patient answering my thousand of quetions, offering advice and putting up with our changes of mind. Booking and paying process through their website was very easy.
We could not start as early as their usual turs on the first day, so had to skip the lunch stop but a lunch box was arranged and waiting for us in the car. This was greatly appreciated.
Our driver/guide, Jaco was super, he knew million of things about animals and nature in general, we definitely learned more from him than anyone else. He was also very good at introducing us to South Africa in general answering any question we had. He was also able to suggest the best way to enjoy a place and point out the really unmissable things. He was very thoughtful and made sure we had no problems and all was nice and easy for us. And his cooking was not bad at all! I really enjoyed his bbq dinners.
Accommodations arranged for us were beautiful and comfortale even if we did not go for anything in the luxury category. I really appreciated that they work with a place such as Moholohoolo Ya matit hat is working for conservation.
The itinerary was great even if I was not exactly impressed by Bryce River canyon, notable exception Burke's Luck Potholes; that place is just beautiful. Getting to see the canyon from below during a boat trip on the dam was great and added another dimension to the experience and you get to see hippos wich is a great plus. We spent 2 nights in Kruger, did an evening bush walk, 2 morning drives and an evening one and were extremely lucky, managed to see all of the big 5 plus dozens of other animals including some birds of the most astonishing colours.
The whole safari was very well planned and we were extremely happy the service of Red Africa Safari and feel very lucky to have had Jaco with us, he was a big part on the success of out trip ( give the guy a pay rise!!!)

3 Days Joined Group Safari Ngorongoro,Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park
Ok, I'm with wife was on 3-day safari with this company and it was really good safari with professional guide and "standard" car for safari. Also we visited Materuni excursion and I can definitely recommend this place to visit.
In general I can recommend this company, they really responsible and trying to do they best to provide good service.
What was good:
- Professional guide, so we were able o see a lot of animals.
- Good accommodation for 2 night of safari.
- Free airport pick-up and drop-off.
What should be improved:
- We had only 3-4 hours per each day on safari but company promised "6 hour game drive in the park".
- Accommodation before and after safari should be improved. The first room was really dirty. And there are were no shower/electricity time to time for days after safari.

Excellent tour to Lake Mburo with Wamba Gorilla Tours
With great pleasure we look back on the trip we made in Uganda with Wamba Gorilla Tours. In a few days, the owner of Wamba Gorilla Tours, Immanuel Wamba, showed us a beautiful part of Uganda. From the capital Kampala we traveled to the south of Uganda where we visited Lake Mburo, a relatively unknown but beautiful NP of Uganda. Immanuel found a beautiful Lodge (Hyena Hill Lodge) for us near the entrance to the park. He personally took us on safari through the animal-rich and beautiful park, we could not have wished for more than this. We are very satisfied with the service that Wamba Gorilla Tours has offered us, our wishes have been taken into account in everything. Moreover, Immanuel is a pleasant and extremely reliable driver, he is very flexible in his supervision of the trip and, above all, also pleasant company. We are also very satisfied about the price-quality ratio. We can absolutely recommend Wamba Gorilla Tours to anyone who is considering traveling and / or going on a safari in Uganda. We will gladly make use of the services of this company again for the next trip.

Extremely efficient and knowledgeable
Firstly we were very impressed by the communication. Newton replied immediately to my emails.
We were very impressed with them altogether .They arrived on time at our hotel to pick us up and gave a comprehensive briefing and we were introduced to our driver/guide. We were with him (Steve) for the next 4 days.
As a guide he was great. He persuaded us to wait a while when we could see a leopard behind a bush, and sure enough it was worth the wait, as she emerged clearly, walked down into a ravine and jumped up the other side. We had 3 separate sightings of the very illusive leopard.
We had sightings of elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, we saw everything but the Rhino.
We even saw part of the migration when a long column of Wildebeests ran by. We didn't see them going across the river, but understood we were too late in the season. Steve recommended we come back in August.
The camp was excellent, especially the restaurant where the food was superb. I am extremely hard to please, and was able to eat every meal. Excellent chef, and the chap in charge was excellent too, I've forgotten his name. I was disappointed the pool was not available.
The only downside was the journey to and from Nairobi over the unmade roads, very bumpy and tiring. I felt sorry for the driver having to negotiate such awful terrain for so long.

Professional, Informative, and Exciting Game Drives in Kruger
We recently had a four day classic Kruger Park safari by WildLifeSafaris. We used an open vehicle for game drives and stayed at lodges within the park. It was a great experience, from many perspectives. First, we were blessed with Liese, the best of guides. She navigated the different sightings with precision and continuously shared details about animals and environment, as well as stories of her great experience with wildlife. We brought two children with limited proficiency in English, but she always made sure they felt included. We did early sunrise drives as well as evening drives, in complete darkness. Very exciting for all of us. When heading out of Kruger we had seen more animals than we had ever hoped for, including the big five and cheetah.
The fact that we had full access to Liese over four days also gave us a great deep-dive into South African contemporary life as well as historical development. We much appreciated her willingness to share experiences and thoughts, making our visit something more than just a traditional tourist trip.
Finally, I’d also like to give credit to the administrative staff at WildLifeSafaris. Jonathan was quick in communication and detailed in information. Christine was very helpful and cared about our plans beyond the safari, carefully suggesting alternatives that could improve our trip. Very professional.
All in all, we are extremely happy with WildLifeSafaris and recommend the firm, without reservation! We would love to come back again.

Vulcanoes and Gorillas in three Phantastic Countries
It was our second trip to Uganda with Speke. after having seen and visited Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth national parcs in 2014 we decided to come back as our children are now old enough to see Gorillas as well. And as our first trip to Uganda was already perfect it was no question to have a totally well organized trip again with Speke - no hassle, no issues, just enjoy the trip.
After an excellent preparation, taking into account my/our ideas and Speke's suggestions we had two great weeks with the family in Uganda and Rwanda and I had a further week extension on my own in DR Congo and Rwanda. And any concerns that might exist thinking of the destination were totally unnecessary - no issues at all. Speke told us before that they will only send us to places, if they feel these are hassle free and so they did, even declining ideas I had had before, which was not considered safe and thus Speke advised against it - and we followed their recommendations. All in all a very pleasant experience and no reason to worry about the safety for this region.
The lodges: we asked for middle class (budget) and got perfect lodges, that Tony and his team had choosen, far beyond middle class, :-) all authentic, all fairly small (6-10 rooms, cottages), no posh safari nonsense. Straight and honest, and way beyond average. Two special recommendations, if looking also for some real relaxation: Isunga near Fort Portal with great views on the mountains of Ruwenzori, and Lake Mutanda for that spectacular two-three days of total relaxation. :-) :-)
The car/transport: private Landcruiser, pop-up roof, sturdy, always clean and no problems at all - perfect.
The guide: David was a friend at the end of the trip, not only knowledge and explanations, but real talks about life in Africa. Sorting all issues, very pragmatic, his company was a real highlight of our trip.
The experience: Uganda offered it all, animals, all we could think of. The Gorilla experience was very very special, worth the efforts and the prices for the permits, although two very different experiences in Bwindi (Uganda) and in Virunga (DR Congo - so try both :-), The people, very friendly in all three countries, still interested and not (yet) spoilt by too many tourists. The parcs: few cars and always pics with no other game drive-cars involved. Special compared to more crowded places in Kenia and Tanzania.
All in all: Not our last trip to Uganda, for sure, and not our last trip with Speke. And if East-Africa, then Uganda due to its still limited number of tourists.
Thanks to all of their team from planning, to picking us up, from guiding to waving us a bye. We had a perfect trip,

Great Safari, average tour
We had a great safari full day (6am-6pm) and saw everything we could have hoped. The accomodation was great, with helpful friendly staff and delicious food. However, it's more of a full safari day than a 3 days tour. Day 1 only includes an hour drive, and day 3 is merely getting back to Nairobi, which, unfortunately, happened in a small taxi and not in the original van as some other members of our group moved on to their next location. An overall good experience.
