Saw the big 5, very well organised and eager to please!
5/5

The safari was amazing. We saw everything we wanted to in three days. I don't think anyone else would have got as good service for the price

Magical first safari
5/5

I recently booked a very last minute private safari with Wildebeest following a work trip to Nairobi. Noah was extremely helpful from the outset, providing a customized itinerary on short notice and allowing me to pay via a bank transfer rather than in cash even though I only booke a day out (meaning the cash only arrived after I was 2 days into the trip). The camps booked by Wildebeest were absolutely stunning, excellent food and service, and very reasonably priced compared to all the other quotes I received.

The safari itself was everything I had hoped for. I did the 3 night/four day trip to Lake Nakaru and the Masai Mara both of which were incredible. My driver Jeff was a total gem. Very friendly, happy to adjust the itinerary to whatever times I wanted to leave/return from game drives, make extra stops along the way, and also spent four days patiently responding to all of my questions about which animals eat which.

If booking with Wildebeest I highlight recommend requesting Jeff. I'm a 30 woman who travelled solo and felt totally at ease the whole time and really enjoyed his company.

Thanks again to Wildebeest for a magical first Safari!

A wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone if they are lucky enough to do it.
5/5

Excellent communication with organising the holiday and tour. And excellent communication with Wildthing safari's whilst in Tanzania. We received a fantastic service from Wildthing's safari and our guide Mansoor was just incredible. Mansoor was so knowledgable, patient and kind and showed us Tanzania in a wonderful way. I will never be able to thank him enough. Our trip was made even better as Mansoor enabled us to see a wild leopard, wild dogs, lions, birds and lots of other animals. Our trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar lived up and over our expectations and we feel so grateful to have been able to have had this experience and we just felt that our trip was perfect!

Amazing Masai Mara Safari!
5/5

My wife and I booked this safari only days before departure. They had the best rate and were happy to accommodate us.

Our communication with them was smooth and easy. We were shuttled to our departure point where we met our driver/guide, Richard.

Richard is fantastic! He’s a very safe driver and an incredibly knowledgeable guide. Also, he always seemed to know how to get us as close as possible to everything we wanted to see.

This was a huge win!! We’ll be back.

What an amazing company!
5/5

I cannot give enough credit to Classic Journeys Africa. I found them on safaribookings.com and reached out to them, even with a 7 hour time zone difference they responded the same day. Charles was my booking agent and I was very adamant that I had to stay within my budget but needed the safari to be a private safari and decent lodging in my locations that I had always wanted to visit. It took several months for me to decide on the exact time of year but we knew we wanted to be there during the Great Wildebeest Migration from Kenya to Tanzania. Charles suggested late September to early October which fit in right inline with our 25th anniversary and the Equinox. He made the entire booking process so easy. He suggested lodging that worked perfectly with our budget but were very comfortable and some were luxurious. We stayed at the Fairmont Mt. Kenya Safari Club, Amboseli Sopa Lodge, Mara Sopa Lodge, Kati Kati Camp and the Ngorongoro Farmhouse- I highly recommend all of these options. Now, for the actual safari. I had requested to have Sammie in Kenya and we got him. Boy, was he good at spotting the animals and knowing there next moves. We were able to see a lion wedding (mating), ostriches mating, a cheetah chase, and a lion kill a zebra. In all while in Amboseli and Masai Mara we saw buffalo, elephants, lions and leopards then once we were in Tanzania with Mirage we saw rhinos to complete our big 5. Both guides spoke English very well, knew all about the animals, took amazing care of us and made sure that we had the proper angles to take photographic treasures. I said this was a once in a lifetime trip but we believe we will be contacting Classic Journeys Africa again in the near future! (I've already recommended them to my friends.)

Our 4-day masai mara and lake Nakuru safari was possibly one of the best experiences ever! Mwangi our guide took care of every detail, he was also extremely knowledgeable about everything we saw. The accomodation provided was unforgettable.

Customized tour with excellent service!
5/5

We hired Mukisa Safaris because they were extremely responsive as we planned our customized tour of Uganda. The guide, Joan, was very helpful and great at identifying birds, while helping me to better identify them. We appreciated that she helped us learn a bit of Luganda so we could impress our hosts at varying locales. Solomon, our driver, was very professional, safe, and courteous. We enjoyed his company on our trip. The accommodations and food were excellent. We were happy to eat local food, and most of the restaurants we went to were happy to serve it. Joan often called ahead to restaurants to let them know we were coming and would like to eat local food, which made our meals go smoothly.

Gorilla's tracking with Encounter Africa Safaris
5/5

Encounter Africa Safaris was our choice to go with to a Gorilla's tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda. First of all, the attention of the attendants Patrick and Monica were very nice and had answers for all my questions. They also were flexible due to some problems I've had with my flights and connections. Second, our very good driver Abdul was a very nice person. The accommodations in the Bakiga Lodge was very good and people are so friendly.
The encounter with the Gorillas was amazing. We saw a family with at least 3 gorillas children, and one baby. The tracking was very easy, about 1,30 h to go and the same to go back. No mosquitoes, not rains...The administration of the park turn you tracking very safe, and if you want, there are a lot of people to help you with yous stuff.
