Love it. Masai Mara is incredible.
Masai Mara is beautiful. I love that Kenya is taking steps to protect its wildlife by taking a hard stance against poaching, against hunting safari, against eating / selling game meat. The animals in Masai are beautiful and abundant, you can see that they are living a satisfied life.
I love it, and I want to be back again.

Amazing once in a lifetime adventure!
I cannot say enough good words about Starluck Safaris, the operator James or our guide Kennedy. They are top notched and provided an amazing safari on short notice with excellent accomodations at a fair price.
Let me start with a little background. We originally booked with "Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris (KWSS)" in August 2018 for a safari to begin August 22, 2019. Exactly two weeks before our safari, KWSS sent an email saying they were no longer able to provide our requested service. Needless to say we were shocked and angry, and our confidence in booking on line shattered.
This was to be THE trip of our lifetimes, long saved for.
After deliberations we looked for another operator who could fit us in on short notice and conform to our prearranged flights.
It was such that we had the very good fortune to find Starluck!
Not only could Starluck fit us in on our original schedule, they were able to provide a customized 10-day safari superior to what we had originally booked.
Given our previous scam we were nervous until we met James in the lobby of our hotel and he gave us a copy of the agreed upon itinerary, our lodge vouchers, and an explanation on how it would all unfold.
We met our driver/guide Kennedy the next morning and left for what would be an absolutely wonderful and amazing experience. We visited Amboseli, Aberdare, Simburu, Lake Nakuru and Masa Mara parks and preserves.
The accommodations were first rate and exceeded our expectations. The rooms were comfortable and the food excellent with much variety to choose from.
Kennedy was a superstar! He not only safely negotiated the chaotic and hectic Kenyan traffic and subpar roads with skill, he was very personable, friendly and courteous, and we learned much about Kenya and its cultures as we traveled.
Kennedy was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and ardently found the wildlife even the harder ones to find such as leopards.
Starluck, James and Kennedy saved our dream trip of our lifetimes and we are deeply indebted to them.

Great trip but 6 days was too long. Before booking, insure you have a good guide/driver
I loved the safari but did not realize how much time would be spent sitting in a jeep. I understand being on a safari means driving long distances to get to the wildlife. Both Tanzania and Kenya had amazing wildlife. I had a mix of drivers - some very good, some not so good. When the drivers spoke English and were motivated to teach, educate, it was a joy. Unfortunately, a couple drivers did not communicate well at all and this was frustrating. I also recommend shopping around for prices - the safari itself is the same for everyone (big difference is driver). In my group, some of us spent significantly more than others for the same thing.

Professional, friendly and reliable
Communication and reliability was great. We kept to the agreed schedule.
Martin was friendly and knowledgeable. Tried really hard to help us see as many animals as possible.
Accommodation was great. The view from the room was incredible.
Food was okay, portions a bit small and little options.
Despite not seeing any big cats we thoroughly enjoyed the trip, especially the boat trip from Kazinga Channel. We'll worth it just for that!

Trip of a lifetime
I had the most wonderful holiday with Duncan Muli, who has forgotten more than most know about the African bush. My accomodation was great, I saw so much and have now so0 many memories that will last a lifetime. The game trucks are basic, but that's nopt what you go for. My experie3nce was just so amazing, would recommend to anyone. And very reasonably priced for whjat I had.

Great Experience for all points of view
Our experience with Savannah Explorer is even more than we expected, for accommodation, vehicle, guide and oraganization. Add the beautiful game drives all over Serengeti (especialli the Noth) , Ngorngorno and Lake Manyara , and the trip becomes unforgettable.

Well organised, trustworthy company with amazing friendly staff!
Such a brilliant company! Ibrahim was great dealing with all of our questions and making sure everything was organised. This put our minds to rest before our trip even started.
Hadji, our guide was amazing. He is knowledgeable about the animals and the environment and he made our trip. Without him I don’t think we would have enjoyed our safari as much as we did. He was always so happy and nothing was ever to much trouble for him. We spent 6 days on safari with him and we feel as though we have made a good friend in Hadji. With him, we were able to see more than we hoped we would see. If you have Hadji as your safari guide, you are very lucky!!

Unforgettable experience
We have just made a 7-day Safari with Lion King adventures . The experience has been very satisfactory in all aspects. Regarding the organization, the Lion King Staff was able to organize a tailor-made trip just 3 days in advance(!).Our driver & guide, David , spokes Spanish fluently. This is a bonus value, as many Spanish people visit Tanzania.
It was a 7-day Safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara. The type of Safari included hotel accommodation, camping site with cabins and camping with tents in the camping areas of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks. The agency provided the camping equipment. The vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser had a lifting roof to facilitate the observation of animals, plugs with AC supply and USB port for charging batteries and electronic accessories and refrigerator, as well as enough the for luggage.
In addition to the driver-guide David, we were accompanied by a chef, Yusuphu, who prepared breakfast, dinner and picnic meals daily.
David is a great professional, with the qualities of a safari guide: knowledge of the terrain, animal behaviour and enough patience. We were fortunate to watch many wild animals, including leopards, cheetahs and lions that inhabit the trees of the Manyara park. There really are no words to describe the beauty of landscapes; The 4 parks we visited were very different although they had wildlife in common.
It is admirable how Yusuphu was able to prepare fantastic meals with very limited items and without repeating the menu. Few things are better than a splendid dinner after a day of safari.
It is necessary to highlight the organization of the national parks of Tanzania, with an excellent care of the surroundings, many rest areas where the state and the cleanliness of the facilities is excellent, including the bathrooms so for public use.
The attention and treatment received from David and Yusuphu have been top.
Taking a trip like this is an unforgettable experience, which has been possible thanks to Lion King adventures.
