Amazing experience. Steven, our guide, is an absolute star and a huge credit to the company.
Steven, our guide, collected us from our hotel in Nairobi. He advised us to leave some luggage behind as we had packed far too much. This advice proved to be correct.
We proceeded to the Masai Mara our first game drive. During this drive we seen many animals including a lion and cheetah. Steven was brilliant and tried extremely hard to show us as many animals as possible during our time. He was very informative and spoke excellent English.
We stayed at the Jambo Mara Resort overnight, which was lovely.
Next day was out full day game drive. During this time we saw many animals including lion cubs, female and male lions, cheetahs and a very brief glimpse of a leopard. Steven, again, done everything he possibly could to allow us to are four of "the big five". We were so close to the animals that you could have reached out and touched them (although I wouldn't advise that). We managed to see a cheetah hunt and catch a hare, and hyena with a fresh kill.
We again started overnight at Jambo Mara Resort.
On day three we transferred to Nakuru for a game drive at Lake Nakuru. During this drive we managed to complete The Big Five but seeing both a black Rhino and a several white Rhinos.
We stayed overnight at Sarevo Woodland which was lovely.
Day for see us sadly return to Nairobi and say goodbye to Steven.
Steven was amazing. We could not have asked for a more helpful, friendly, caring and informative guide. He went above and beyond several times to ensure that we seen as much as possible, and that any of our needs were met. He is an absolute credit to the company and I will highly recommend him to all friends and family at home.
The whole experience was out of this world. What a thrill it is too be so close to animals normally only seen on television.

From the moment we landed in Amboseli and saw the first glimpse of elephants walking beneath the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro, I knew this trip with Wild Atlas Africa was going to be unforgettable. A trip organized by solid professionals
We traveled for over two weeks from north to south of Ethiopia, coinciding with the Easter rites and visiting sites of major historical, religious, and ethnic significance. Our overall assessment is largely positive.
Excellent organization, well-timed, interesting stops, and appropriate rest stops.
The entire staff, from trip preparation to communication, from the welcome to the intermediate, final, and post-trip phases, demonstrated extreme professionalism and preparation. Everyone proved to be excellent professionals, and even all the drivers were very friendly!
And yet, throughout the trip, we felt supported at all times by a superb guide, to whom we can only pay tribute and applaud for his preparation, his never dull conversations, and his wide-ranging expertise, which demands knowledge and passion for this work and for the country that hosted us. The country's richness of nuances would otherwise be difficult to grasp without such a solid and attentive partner, attentive to our desires and requests. Such well-organized trips make you want to return soon!
