Not the cheapest, but Robert provided a very very personal and professional service.
5/5

Robert at Wanderlust was always quick to respond and accommodated all my requests before I arrived in Africa.

The Wanderlust service was not the cheapest, but if you want an easy booking while not in Africa, and a very personal and professional service from pick up to drop off you will get that with Robert.

Of note, it does seem that Wanderlust is an on seller of tours of sorts - our initial pick up was conducted by Wanderlust, however the game drive was conducted in a vehicle that was branded with different logos, and with people who had booked through other companies and consequently paid alternate prices.

This situation had not been explained to me prior, so I had been expecting a consistent group however it changed on both days (day one there were 4 of us and day two there were 6 of us).... - however as stated above, given how easy Robert made the booking, and his professional service - I still regard it as a positive trip, just if I did it again I would ask those questions, as I personally prefer when a tour is conducted by the one operator, and is not out sourced.

Great intro to Tanzanian wildlife!
5/5

Robert and his guides provided us with an excellent two day safari to Taringire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. The driver, Issa, was amazing and very willing to get in as close as possible for us to view and photograph the wildlife. He was very enthusiastic and friendly to us. The overnight at a campsite was amazing, perched above lake manyara. A very tasty dinner was followed by native dances and acrobatics. The staff here were very friendly and accommodating. Also Robert was always very quick to respond and he went out of his way to arrange for our transfer to and from Moshi and was always early for our scheduled pick ups.

I recommend this or a similar trip with this outfit. They offer much more than the 2 day safari that we joined. Thanks African Wanderlust!

5/5

From the first moment, we found this safari with great comfort and tranquility because of the confidence that Maximiliam provides. He is an expert knowledgeable about safaris and is always waiting for his customers to find all possible comforts. Without a doubt, if I enjoy a safari again, it will be with this company.

Unforgettable great safari experience thanks to Tukio Safaris!
5/5

Earlier in 2019, I started researching information on safaris in Kenya, checking with a number of recommended and highly rated safari tour operators to put together a suitable itinerary for my 8 year old grandson and myself.

I eventually decided to book with Tukio Safaris. The service I received from Tukio's Samuel was really great. Informative, clear and prompt. He provided info and recommendations for our itinerary and accommodations which turned out to be spot on. My decision to go with Tukio Safaris was largely due to the efficiency of these communications and Tukio's pricing being very reasonable indeed.

We went with Tukio's recommendations on a suitable itinerary covering most of the main places - Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara and Lake Naivasha and very much enjoyed all of these. The Hot Air Balloon Ride at Masai Mara as recommended by Samuel was a truly unforgettable experience (which my grandson still talks about!) The Lodges recommended by Tukio in the various national parks all turned out to be really great (accommodation, food and service wise).

We decided to take a private tour in a 4x4 Land Cruiser - just the 2 of us with our driver/guide Paul. It cost a little more but well worth it, as we were totally free to roam wherever and whenever we wished and change our routings in order to see more . The roads can be extremely rough and bumpy and some of the drives quite long, so it is worth the small extra cost to have the 4 x 4. With the pop-up roof, we were able to have great views of the animals and both take some great photos and videos, many at very close range. We saw everything we wanted to see - and more!

Paul our driver/guide was amazing. He was not only a very safe driver but was also adept at finding the best spots to see and get up close to the animals. When we unfortunately had a flat tyre when entering the Masai Mara for an early morning game drive, he very quickly made arrangements for us to be taken aboard another 4x4 so we wouldn't miss anything and then picked us up a little later to continue with him.

On another occasion, due to heavy rain, one of the main tracks through the park was blocked - but Paul lost no time in finding a way around this and we were the first of many stranded vehicles to be on our way. On a safari you must expect the unexpected - and it is therefore VERY important to have an experienced and considerate driver/guide like Paul looking after you!

Paul was so good with my grandson and made sure he maintained his interest - and in fact they very soon became great buddies.

On our last day, on our way to Nairobi Airport, Samuel had arranged for us to stop en route for dinner at The Carnivore Restaurant. It is such a unique place, with a wide selection of meats and was a really great way to end off our trip. I have never seen my grandson eat so much - his favourite being the crocodile. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much Tukio Safaris - and especially Samuel and Paul, for all your efforts and hard work in making this such an amazing experience for both of us!

Great family safari with Matembezi
5/5

Our small family group of three generations had a wonderful Matembezi safari to Tanzania in early July. Onesmo Mbesi was our guide and honorary member of the family! In addition to being an excellent guide and driver, he has an amazing knowledge about everything we saw -- flora, fauna, geology, people, and history! We experienced close-up views of big and small animals, and Onesmo educated us about their lives, habits, and behaviors. Watching Wildebeest frantically crossing the Mara River was wonderful. Birding was of special interest, and Onesmo was amazing at hearing and spotting them and patiently pointing them out to us -- about 140 species were new to us. Onesmo's knowledge is awesome; he provided in-depth answers to every question about anything: the surroundings, geology, history, and Tanzania's people.

The pace and scope of our short trip was perfect, including amazing parks and reserves. Our accommodations were lovely and very suited to our group. Several camps had swimming pools and gardens to enjoy. The food was good and the people very congenial and helpful -- they enjoy their jobs and contact with us as visitors to their country. We were treated to a surprise birthday celebration with cake and singing at one of our camps, a lovely and unforgettable event! It was definitely an experience we'll remember and treasure and recommend!

Amazing Experience!
5/5

We found Africa Safari Classic on safaribooking.com and, since one of the tours matched perfectly with what we had in mind, we decided to contact Maurice.

From the first moment to when we returned home everything was perfect and superbly organized.

Abdul, our guide, was extremely helpful and very kind throughout our trip, giving us lots of interesting information about what we saw and satisfying all our requests.

Shifts and lodges were truly incredible and we had the chance to stay in fantastic places surrounded by nature.

For all these reasons I can only recommend Africa Safari Classics because it will surely give you an extraordinary experience!

Animals and fun
5/5

We booked a five day camping and lodge safari at Shemeji. We had a wonderful time with Omari ('mr Eagle Eye') and Godson ('mr Delicious'). We were suprised by the luxury and good taste of the prepared meals on the campsite in the middle of the Serengeti. Omari showed us many animals and nice places and we had a lot of laughs.

Shemeji also carefully booked the rest of our trip to the Usambara mountains and Zanzibar.
It was a trip we will never forget.

Fantastic 13 Day Safari Through Kenya & Tanzania
5/5

Amazing Memories Safaris coordinated a 13 day safari through Kenya and Tanzania for my wife and I. We had a wonderful trip full of many great memories and amazing experiences.

Anne was extremely helpful from our very first inquiry through our return home. She planned our dream safari and made sure it exceeded our expectations. We are very thankful to our guide through Kenya, Musa. His experience really showed throughout the trip as he knew exactly how to put us in the best positions to experience incredible wildlife. For example, Musa would position the vehicle to even view wildlife with the best lighting. The little things made a big difference. Charles was our guide in Tanzania and his passion for his job was evident. He loved sharing his knowledge of the animals with us, and we very much enjoyed our conversations with him. Both guides were top notch!

We felt completely safe with Amazing Memories Safaris. The guides were excellent drivers, and we felt they really cared about us during our time. My wife and I would definitely recommend this company, and we are very glad that we traveled with them!

BEST OF THE BEST SAFARIS EVER
5/5

This was truly a great and unforgettable experience, the guys at pride of africa are very professional and accurate in the description of the packages on their website. Since the first contact with Stephen, everything was perfect and what i expected of an experienced tour operator.
I booked a 7-day Maasai Mara,Lake Naivasha,Lake Nakuru and Amboseli visit, and as i was travelling solo i joined a group of 6,with our driver and guide Lawi. Due to skills of Lawi, we were able to see lions, leopards, cheetahs,Elephants,Wildebeest,Gazelles,Baboons and many other animals in their natural habitat.
I had chosen the camping option, and that too was a whole other experience all together, the camp was very comfortable with hot showers and ultimately the whole experience was amazing, althogh they also can arrange for other accommodation options as well.
I would definitely book other tours with Pride of Africa again if i get the chance of adventure and exploration in this part of the world.
