Great Safari Service from Dove Adventure Tanzania
My wife and I with our friends had a very great planned 9days safari to Mikumi Park, Selous game reserve and finally Zanzibar. We didn’t want to rush because some of us are just retired and focused on relaxing rather than long travelling every day, it took us some time to research the perfect agency which we could trust to handle our safari package. I emailed several agencies and at the end we choose Dove adventure. Our main contact was Jumbe, he answered our entire question all time and mail us different safari programs to compare. In Mikumi we stayed at Mikumi Wildlife Lodge, Rufiji River in Selous and in Zanzibar we stayed at Dhow Palace hotel and did stone town tour walk, Prison Island, spice tour and spend much time on beach. We had a wonderful experience, the guide on Safari (Michael) and Zanzibar (Bori) were both very knowledgeable and attentive to anything we asked. We saw many animals on safari, lions with cubs, elephants, buffalo’s zebras and very luck to see the leopard. Generally I recommend Dove Adventure Tanzania. they are reliable with reasonable price and best services.

Spectacular
We contacted Romeo over a year before our actual safari date and even though it was initial enquires he was always very prompt with his response to our questions. We told him where we would like to visit but as it was our first safari we were open to suggestions and the itinerary he put together for us we think enabled us to have the best experience on our 6 nights 7 days safari. Our driver /guide Amos was amazing, we were in awe at his skill for spotting animals and so knowledgeable. The hours he spent driving us around to give us the best experience was incredible.Every one of the lodges and camp sites chosen by Romeo were good ,especially the Heritage campsites in the Serengeti, one was permanent and the other was temporary for the wielder beast crossing but still of a very high standard. The whole trip was spectacular and I would highly recommend Safari Multiways if you want a safe, reliable company to look after you for your safari.

Wonderful experience in Kenya and Tanzania. We recommend this company 100%
With 3 friends we hired 10 days of safari with this company and from the first minute they took care of us. In Kenya we pass through the Nakuru National Park and Masai Mara Reserve, then cross to Tanzania through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire National Park. The experience was magnificent. Haron, our tour operator took care of every detail and was flexible to our needs. The accommodations in each park were magical, each with its seal. We had two guides - drivers (one in Kenya – Patrick, and one in Tanzania - Gideon), who showed all their experience and willingness with the group. We were lucky to witness the migration of zebras and wildebeest from Serengeti to Masai Mara! ... simply wonderful. African Sunset Safari exceeded all our expectations. We highly recommend this company. In addition, it is a good way to favor local entrepreneurship because this company is from Nairobi.

Amazing tour and nice staff. The chef cooked different food every time. Great experience
They change the order of the parks (due to people who took only 3 days safari), that is not so negative thing but tarangire after ngorongoro and serengeti is not surprising. However, The tour is amazing and the place wonderful. We had problem with the jeep but they solve it in a short time.
I m Italian and about food I don't know what to say, It was normal, even pasta was good. I can suggest Eric as chef. Benson is also a nice person and guide.

A great first time safari in Tanzania
5 days safari plus 3 days cultural & bike tour in Tanzania with Nodven Safari, what a unforgettable moment. In these days, we saw different kinds of animals in the national parks, and also experienced the local life in Tanzania. All drivers, chef and the staff we met are so kind and really helpful. They are willing to share their experiences to us and always take us good care. Special thanks to my tour operator & friend,'Patrick Tarimo', provides assistance and supports all the time.

Wonderful experience, great attitude, awesome value for money
We had a great experience with the 1 day lake Nakuru trip. James communicated with us and organized the trip. He was quick to respond and clear the details for us despite the really short notice he had. He was helpful, exact, and polite. Our driver the day of the trip, Naftali, was great too! He was helpful, patient and knowledgeable, and knew the park and animals very well. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this trip!

Wonderful Well Planned Family Adventure with a Perfect Guide
Lion King Adventures was great from the start. The office staff was promptly responsive to my emails, answered all of my questions, gave advice on planning, and modified the trip to suit our needs. Every request I had was met and fulfilled - and this was before we even got to Tanzania. Everything (vehicles, accommodations, meals, entrance fees etc.) from the moment we stepped off the plane to the moment we left was perfectly planned and went smoothly. My husband, my 14 year old daughter, my 11 year old son and I couldn't have imagined a better trip. Our guide, Goodluck, cared about what we were interested in and cared about teaching us about Tanzania. We felt like the entire experience with him was very personal and so special. I don't think I can properly describe how much we appreciate (and, frankly, will miss) Goodluck - he made an impact on our lives. A safari is not "easy" traveling (we preferred (chose) to be out in the vehicle as much as possible to see as much as possible), but it was nice to arrive at clean, comfortable and very nice accommodations in the evenings and be well fed throughout. I highly recommend Lion King Adventures.

Please do not make a mistake of booking your safari with Flash
We recently came back from a safari with Flash. We couldn’t have been more disappointed. Not only their cars are broken, they don’t pay their drivers and they also tried denying obvious problems we experienced during our trip which we have video proof of.
The Car:
4wd drive didn’t work. This caused us and other people to be put in a life-threatening situations when for example the car was sliding down a very steep hill, unable to go up without being pushed up by another car after our driver, Jerry, with help of drivers from other companies tried fixing it with a RUBBER BAND FROM THE ROOF-LOCKING MECHANISM. This wasn’t the only case when someone had to push us. The gears didn’t really work either. Going uphill, on an asphalt road with a speed limit of 80 km/h, their car could reach a maximum speed of 20 km/h, causing massive traffic jams behind us. Going down, we of course were able to reach 80 km/h easily. If that wasn’t enough, the car’s shock absorber broke down on the second day. We know that accidents happen, but during our trip it was mostly Flash cars that we saw broken on the side of the road.
The Unpaid Driver:
On the last day after finishing the safari, our driver dropped us off at our hotel and we were getting ready for a well-deserved sleep. Half an hour later we were shocked to see him knocking at our doors in tears. It turned out that HE DID NOT GET PAID A SINGLE DOLLAR from Flash. That’s disgusting! As he explained, all his money comes from tips. We omitted them, because Flash assured us that everything is already paid for and we were really irritated with our safari on the last day because of continuous problems with the car and Flash’s inability to deliver a quality service.
The Lies:
“Nowadays at most part of our roads there is a speed limit of 50 km per hours and you must have seen all the police control posts. In the parks there is also a maximum speed limit and I want our guides to hold to this as we can lose our permit.” - that’s clearly not what we were talking about. We have video proof of car struggling at 20 km/h on a road with 80 km/h speed limit.
“I asked Jerry about the starting problems, he told me that this did happen once and then some people had to push the car to get it started, there were no other incidents” - It happened numerous times, with the most dangerous incident on a steep hill where another car had to push us. Not only we have a video proof of that, at that time in our car, there were also other Flash clients whose car broke down completely earlier that day.
“Jerry also told us that he never used a rubber to fix or repair the 4WD, you must have taken that wrong.” - again, on that day we were accompanied by other people who have also seen it. Jerry clearly told us that he has a problem with activating 4WD and this rubber would hopefully temporarily solve the issue.
We asked: “Please clarify for me how much was driver paid by your company. We want to understand how big is the tipping part of his total salary. Please confirm that our driver was paid by the company (what was the amount?) and that our tips were only the form of extra bonus for him.”
To which they replied that “Jerry get paid a good salary”.
Well clearly if your driver comes up to our room after safari in tears something is wrong.
“On the way to the crater you indeed met with another car from Flash Safaris, it is very common that guides do help each other. Jerry stopped and you talked with the other clients. Then you asked Jerry to help and to take the clients with you. I really appreciate your gesture in this.” - Just shows how “good with words” Edward, the company’s co-owner tried to be in his emails. Of course, we accepted the other people on board (for the whole day) because your car broke down completely and they were stuck in full sun for few hours with small kids in the middle of nowhere and you didn’t manage to secure a replacement car!
SUMMARY:
4WD not working, problems with gears above 2, car not starting, broken shock-absorber, dishonest management unable to even admit the obvious problems, driver working for 0$ for 5 days in extreme conditions.
If you don’t want this to happen to you, just choose another company.
