About: Tanzania
It was the best experience in Tarangire, Manyara and Serengeti

5/5

It was a new experience to me to see the new World in the wilderness. The wildlife was amazing. We saw groups of wild animals such as Elephants in Tarangire, Tree climbing Lions in Manyara and Migrating Wilderbeests in Serengeti. our Guide Yusufu Kingule of Edstates Africa tours and travel, was so well experienced, freindly and versed with Flora and Fauna. Accomodation and food was Excellent at Kibo Palace Arusha Hotel. With that experience, feel missing the places we went and wish to go back in future

About: Botswana
Fantastic place for a safari

5/5

I'd been to South Africa 3 times before. The reason why I kept going back is because I absolutely loved my experiences there, especially, in Kruger National Park. Thus, I was a bit reluctant to step out of my comfort zone. I am so glad I went to Botswana. Before choosing to visit the Okavango Delta, I did fair bit of research and everyone seemed to say that Botswana is beautiful and it gives a true experience of African wilderness and wildlife; they were not wrong.

The Okavango Delta, it seems, is run in a way which limits visitors, thereby limiting the impact on the environment. There are strict limits that are imposed on how many people can be in any given concession, and it's not possible for casual guests to just show up and stay in the Delta. I stayed in three different camps: Footsteps across the Delta, Duba Explorers Camp, and Chitabe Lediba. Footsteps specializes in bush walks, which is an activity which I enjoyed immensely while in Kruger Park. The walking experience in Shinde concession in which Footsteps is located, was absolutely amazing. We got to see some lions while on foot -- this this generally quite difficult to do since lions take off the moment the sense human presence on foot. We also got to follow a large pack of wild dogs for a while as they tried to hunt. Duba Explorers Camp was quite a bit more luxurious than Footsteps. It had running hot water and electricity. The game viewing was quite incredible, too. We got to stalk a mid-sized elephant herd for about 3 hours whom we followed for about 2 miles to the river. We stayed about 60-70 meters from them, and when the elephants stopped, we approached to about 30 meters. We took a bunch of photos of them. Due to the skillful guide, the elephants were never aware of us stalking them. Later, we also followed a small pack of wild dogs on a hunt, who cornered a reed buck. It was quite a gruesome sight watching the dogs rip the poor buck to pieces while it was still alive, but I guess that's how dogs scrounge a living. We saw quite a few other predators, too, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyena. At Chitabe, I spent 3 nights. The area was quite dry and was rich in predators. There was a lion pride that'd specialized in hunting the abundant giraffes in the area; they'd killed one just a day before I'd arrived. There's an area called "the river" which is about an hour's drive from the camp, bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. The area is so rich in game that no matter where I looked, I could see 7-8 species of large game in large numbers!

I found Botswanans to be such friendly and peaceful people. I've travelled a lot but have never come across a people who have such a strong sense of national pride. I am sad that my trip only lasted 10 days. I can't wait to go back there!

Flexible, Accommodating and Extremely Friendly Safari with Godson Kastai - Godson Adventures
5/5

Booking the trip of a lifetime - your African Safari - is an exciting and such a unique experience .. not to mention the expense .. that you want to make sure you think of every detail and get it just right. From the moment that we contacted Godson, owner and operator of Godson Adventures, we knew we were in good hands. He answered all questions within a day at most and was very kind to also lend his experience in making suggestions for our plans as we starting arranging a specific itinerary. Truly a private concierge entirely dedicated to making sure our stay in the Serengeti was perfectly suited for us. On our four day, three night safari Godson ensured absolutely all logistics were taken care of in advance so that during our stay we could just enjoy being in the elements and have our attention on enjoying the moment - that means all accommodations and meals paid in advance as well as all entrance fees to the different areas we accessed (not all tour operators do this). Our accommodations all exceeded our expectations - one night at a safari lodge with wonderful views and a pool and two additional nights in a very nice private tented lodge right in the Serengeti. The wildlife was stunning and we got to experience some more rare moments during our short stay - driving up on to a herd of 50+ elephants with no other vehicles around and watching a lioness hunt a zebra made the top of our lists. Lastly, and most memorable of all .. Godson made arrangements for a sunrise hot air balloon safari for our group. After having been to much of the world this tops the list of my favorite experiences I have ever had. Sunrise in Africa is not like anywhere I have seen and watching the movement of the herds of animals as you float through the air in complete silence other than the balloon burners is something magical. This experience added about $600 pp to our trip, but the reason for the expense is the permitting the ballooning companies are required to have to operate within the Serengeti is extremely expensive. In fact, all entrance fees to the parks are all relatively expensive because the National Parks that operate within Tanzania (Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Serengeti) are all 100% funded from the user fees that they collect - a very different model than we have in the U.S.

The trip was well above our expectations, the lodges meet all expectations, the food was amazing. And the game drives were full of surprises, we saw the big five, but better than that was our Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking which totally met our expectations

An unforgettable trip with Kanyezi Africa!
5/5

All was as promised! Beyond my expectations. Met at the airport by Chris himself with a beautiful bouquet of flowers! Clean, modern van. Our stay at Stellenbosch at the winery was wonderful. Great food, beautiful rooms. Capetown and Cape of Good Hope tours fantastic. Our guide Manie was amazing. Then on to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge in Kruger Park. Absolutely gorgeous place. Rooms awesome. Can’t say enough. The safari can’t be put into words. Saw the big 5 and then some. Then on to Victoria Falls. Again a fantastic experience.
For anyone wanting a trip of a lifetime go with Kanyezi!

The best safari experience, bar none
5/5

We had the most amazing time with Suricata Safaris! We just arrived from our 6-day safari and only have positive things to say. They took us to through all the important parks and made sure we didn’t miss a thing at each one.

But the best part of it was the team who took us on safari. Charles, our cook, who made sure we had everything we needed at all times and cooked delicious meals everyday, making sure we always had good cup of coffee and tea available. And of course, our driver and guide, Floridi. He was absolutely the best and took care of us as if we were family. We learned so much from him, had a lot of laughs and fun during the long game drives, and saw many more animals than we thought possible thanks to his help and planning.

What more could we ask for? We know that without them, our entire experience wouldn’t have been as enjoyable.

We would, without a doubt, repeat with them 100%!

I visited Kampala and the surrounding region with Sights and Sounds of Africa, and the experience was professional and insightful! Thanks to Celes and his team I got to experience an authentic side of Kampala, and got to take photographs I wanted to capture before heading home. Highly recommended.

Best Safari Ever!

Wanted to treat my kids and decided to take them on a short safari. Choosing Africa Marvel Tours was the best decision for me.
Perminus from the office had so many options for us and we decided to take a trip to lake Nakuru and it was the most convenient in terms of driving for hours with the kids. Choice of Lodge was just perfect, Lake Nakuru Sopa offered 5* service. Game drives were perfect though we didn't see elephants as there are none in Lake Nakuru. I highly recommend Africa Marvel Tours for the 5* service.
