Glamping Africa Tours was excellent at organizing a wonderful birthday trip to Lamu. They gave us various options and costs and advised on the best hotel set up for a romantic weekend. They even arranged for a birthday dinner at a separate hotel complete with a beach set up. We found everything ready, from airport pick up to the hotel waiting for us with cold drinks. We had a wonderful weekend which we attribute to great planning by Glamping Africa Tours and their knowledge of hotels in Lamu. We shall book with them again.

Serengeti Smile Highly Recommended - Ask for "Champion" as your Guide!
If you are considering tour operators for a visit to Tanzania, definitely consider Serengeti Smile. We booked a private (2 guests) 4 day guided tour during our short stay in Tanzania, and we customized our tour. We visited Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation, Ngrongoro Crater, a Maasai Village and Lake Manyara National Park. We covered a lot of ground in the short visit and the time was well spent, as our guide, "Champion," knew just where to go to have the highest probability of seeing lots of amazing wildlife. Obviously, no guide can guarantee to see the Big Five, but we were fortunate to see everything we had hoped to see and more! Champion was sure to keep us moving quickly enough to use our time wisely, and also to allow us plenty of time to take photos and just observe the animals as long as we wanted. We were never rushed, and we didn't waste time. Champion and his trainee, Dominic, were both extremely knowledgeable about the locations and the animals. They even had guidebooks on hand and looked up the animals so we could read more detail, if we were so inclined. For a young man (or a person of any age), Champion's knowledge of the places we visited, the culture and the wildlife was impressive! Champion speaks excellent English and has a very pleasant personality an sense of humor! Champion was a safe driver, and we always felt in good hands during the trip. During our first day in Serengenti National Park, we got a flat tire when we were just about 7 km from our lodge for the night. Champion and Dominic quickly and confidently changed the tire and had us on our way to the lodge in no time at all. We were very happy with all of the lodges we selected as a part of our tour, and all of the meals were excellent with great selections and options. Champion and Dominic were attentive to be sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying the visit. Every part of our trip was well-coordinated. Do not hesitate to book a tour with Serengeti Smile. I'm sure that all of their guides are great, but if you have the chance to request Champion, you will not be disappointed! I highly recommend Serengeti Smile and "Champion" as your guide!

Great tour to Funzi island for good price
Spontaneously, a friend and I wanted to go to Funzi Island. Jemmy Safaris made us a very good offer and the tour was really good. Driver picked us up, guides had good knowledge and spoke different languages and food was amazing.

I first contacted Axis Africa Expedition and Safaris about a month before our trip. Eric was extremely helpful and provided us with various itinerary options to choose from. Eric was easily contactable the lead up to the trip and always answered any queries I had leading up to the trip.
I also want to make a special mention to our tour guide Jack. Jack went above and beyond to ensure we got the most out of our trip. We completed everything on our itinerary and more. Myself and my friends had the trip of a life time and I could not recommend this company enough. I would love to do this trip all over again.
