Incredible Company, Amazing Experience, Wonderful People
My fiance and I have always dreamed of going on a safari, but didn't know where to begin when looking for companys and tours. We messaged around 20 different places using safaribookings.com and a few other sites, and Earthwings stood out immediately. After a few messages back and forth with Martin, we were sold that this was the best company to go with. It was clear Martin cared that we have a great experience and took time to answer our many questions promptly.
When we arrived in Kenya, we were greeted and picked up by the Earthwings team and brought to our hotel. The next morning we met our guide and now good friend Fredrick (Freddie). From the very first moment meeting Freddie we could tell he LOVED his job and was very passionate and knowledgeable about the parks and animals. We learned so much from him over the next 7 days at 4 different parks. Freddie is an expert in these animals and was able to find all 'Special 5' in our first afternoon. By day 3 we had already seen all 'Big 5'. He knew exactly where to go to find the animals and was fantastic and getting us in great position to get incredible photos. He was well connected with other guides in each park we went to which allowed us to get early access to sightings of rarer animals by other drivers before any crowds appeared. That was invaluable! When we return for a future safari, we will absolutely come to Earthwings and request Freddie again.

We recently came back from Loyk Mara Camp and loved it!! Newton at Bateleur replied to all our messages to ensure everything we wanted was included in our trip and made our wishes come true. The car was amazing and allowed us to have the best views of the animals. Our tour guide Amos was the BEST and gave us so much information on the animals across our 4 days - we learned so much and he had the most amazing knowledge of the Masai Mara. He managed to get the best stops and all the animals we didn’t think we’d get the chance to see. The camp was also amazing. Clean, comfortable, friendly and the food was incredible. Very knowledgeable and friendly
We had an awesome time with Suricata! It was nice being in a small group with four other travelers. Our guide Frederick and chef Tito were both amazing. Fred has so much knowledge of the animals and nature and we learned so much from him. Tito prepared delicious hot breakfasts, lunches, and dinners every day. Having a small group and great staff really helped to create great camaraderie. The safari was definitely a top experience that me and my wife have ever shared.

Excellent budget tour
We booked a 3-day-safari with Bobby Tours in Arusha in November 2022 after inquiring about prices and options. We wanted to see many different parks at a low price. So we decided not to go to Serengeti as we had already been there (long ago) and it's a long way going there and back. But we wanted to go to Ngorongoro Crater (once more) although the entrance fees massively raise the price of a safary tour.
Mr. Abdallah, the boss, suggested to stay in a camp outside (Panorama Camp at Mto wa Mbu) and not in a national park to make it cheaper. So in our three days we went to Tarangire NP, to Ngorogoro NP and Lake Manyara NP.
Our driver-guide Sam was excellent in spotting animals and explaining animals, plants, people, culture etc.
Our cook Ema (Emmanuel) stayed in the camp and prepared really delicious meals three times a day (we did not get lunch boxes boxes as most of the other safari tourists but Sam spread a table cloth and put out plates and opened thermo-pots with meat, vegetables etc and always had a special dessert with coffee or tea for us in his big picnic basket...
We are very happy to have arranged and booked a tour with Bobby tours and can recommend them to everybody who is not so much interested in a standard wazungu tour because all of the people in this company, from the boss and his son Kassim to the driver and cook were helpful, caring and flexible. Me and my brother booked a 4-day Safari and a 4-day mountain climb to mount meru with this agency. And I would do it again!!
For the Safari we had a wonderful guide and a good cook. They went out of their way to make this Safari an unbelievable experience. The same we can say of the mountain climb. The guide, babaluu was extremely friendly and teaches a lot about the country and the culture of Tanzania. And the chef and the porters went out of their way to make this an amazing,unforgettable experience.

exactly what you imagine and wonder in organizing a safari
We landed in Arusha and were picked up by several cars, being a large group. Exemplary cleanliness in the cars, well set up, everything at hand, comfortable. The ranger (thanks Fridriech:) with good english answered all our questions, with explanations. Very good sense, well informed and punctual. Super!
