Absolutely WILD
Wow! I don’t even know where to begin. What an incredible adventure.
Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve been fascinated by wildlife and the natural world. To finally stand right in the middle of it all was something I had only ever dreamed of. Over the past few weeks, that dream finally came true, and I owe a huge thanks to Green Hippos for making it happen.
Everything was organized to perfection. The accommodation, the staff, the food, and the countless activities were all outstanding. For me personally, the safari was the experience I had been looking forward to the most, and somehow it exceeded every expectation. Tanzania is simply overflowing with incredible wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.
But the biggest reason this trip became so unforgettable was our guide, Clever.
You can see as many animals as you like, but without Clever, the experience would never have felt the same. His passion, enthusiasm, and endless knowledge made him an exceptional guide. He was always happy to chat, genuinely interested in everyone, and besides teaching us about wildlife, we had some amazing conversations about life in Tanzania and life back home.
During every game drive, he always seemed to know exactly where to look. His eyesight was incredible, but even more impressive was his understanding of animal behaviour and the bush. He knew where to search and when to wait. He also got along incredibly well with the other guides, and the communication over the radio often helped us get close to some truly extraordinary wildlife sightings.
When it was time to say goodbye, it honestly felt like we were saying goodbye to a member of our family.
Does that sound exaggerated? Not to us.
This journey was simply unforgettable. A well-deserved 10+ from us.
We’re now relaxing and reliving all those amazing memories on Zanzibar, while still keeping in touch with our guide, Clever. Thank you for everything.

Two days of excitement.
Sole Safari did a great job in organizing our trip. Hotels both in Nairobi and Massai Mara were good with courteous staff albeit the food at Jambo Lodge in Massai Mara could improve as it was not very good. The guide was excellent and even enabled us to witness a lion kill (sneaking on and pouncing on an unsuspecting wild beast) - something not everyone gets to see even on multiple trips. So we were lucky. We also witnessed the “great migration”. So all in all a great and well organised trip

The best ever!
It’s my first time to travel to Africa, and this tour was the best thing I’ve booked!
First, the tour guides in the trip - Patrick from Masai Mara side was very informative, knowledgeable and helpful. He made the trip so much better. Amani from Tanzania side was also so great, helpful and friendly! They made sure the tour was smooth and safe and fun!
Second, the safari experience - very awesome to see all big 5 and all kinds of animals in wide life. We had a jeep to take us everywhere and it felt safe.
Overall, I highly recommend this trip to everyone if you wanna combine Kenya and Tanzania and made it as once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Excellent guide! Fantastic, professional local tour company.
We had a great time on safari with Dalili! Everything went smoothly and was organized very professionally. But most importantly our guide, Ambrose, was incredible. Your guide can really make or break your safari since you are with them so much, and Ambrose was a uniquely excellent guide. He was extremely friendly and made every effort to ensure we were happy, comfortable and enjoying our time. He was excellent at knowing where to look for animals as well.

Amazing experience, would definitely recommend!
The safari was amazing, Fransisca arranged everything for us including making some last minute adjustments to the accommodations.
Our guide was Joshua, he was a great driver and not only did he manage to find the big 5 and lots of animals but he was also very knowledgeable about the wildlife and shared lots of info about the Tanzanian culture and the Maasai's. Something not minor is that he is very kind and always eager to help other cars when they break down. We highly recommend Mellivora!

Professional, amazing guide, excellent camps, comfortable new vehicle. What more could you ask for?
We had a wonderful experience on safari with get together. They were very professional and easy to work with during the planning stage. We had a brand new safari vehicle which was incredibly comfortable. It had fewer than 5k km on it. We were told that they only use brand new safari vehicles and sell them to other tour companies when they get older, which is very nice. The camps they arranged for us in the Serengeti were amazing. Very comfortable, incredible food, great service. We did have one issue during our safari, but their prompt and professional response very much impressed us.
But above all our guide, Makundi, was amazing. The guide can really make or break your safari and Makundi is a uniquely wonderful guide. He is experienced, kind and thoughtful. Most of all he is incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife - he truly has a passion for the animals and ecology and loves to share that with you. While guides from other companies might be friendly and helpful, I doubt you will find a better guide than Makundi at teaching you about the wildlife.

The safari itself was truly wonderful and moving.
I lost my wallet at Ololaimutiek Village, and although it was returned 1–2 hours later, the cash inside (17 USD and 1,000 Kenyan shillings) was missing.
I would have appreciated support and a proper response from the guide and the tour company regarding this issue.
I believe that more attention should be given to advising guests about the safety and management of their valuables during the tour.

Breezy Tours and Travel offered as a great experience as we traveled from Nairobi to malindi and back. Our point of contact was very diligent while she prepared our transport to malindi from the sgr station and also our transfer from the sgr station to the hotel. She did timely communications and was available throughout the whole trip and even after the trip to offer assistance and insight. The journey was quite affordable and well packaged so that it are accommodated my team of students and teachers. The travel company is quite reliable and you can be assured that they will arrange everything and you will arrive at your destination and have a good time. We got to arrive at our hotel on time and we set out for different activities for 3 day stay. The food was also made to perfection and accommodated our students needs perfectly.

An Incredible Safari with Unforgettable Wildlife Encounters
We recently completed a Kenya and Tanzania safari with Colours Africa Safari, and overall it was an incredible experience.
Our safari involved travelling through both Kenya and Tanzania, which requires two different vehicles and drivers/guides. The changeover takes place at the Isebania border post, and the transition between the two countries was relatively straightforward.
The accommodation was excellent, with a diverse range of camps and lodges throughout the trip. Each offered something different, and the overall standard was great.
Both of our guides were terrific. They were extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and the areas we travelled through, while also being friendly, jovial and great company throughout the safari. Their expertise really added to the experience.
The animal encounters were next level, with some truly incredible and unforgettable experiences. We saw an amazing variety of wildlife and had several moments that will stay with us for a very long time.
I do have mixed feelings about the communication from Colours Africa. While they were responsive to our emails and generally easy to contact, there were a couple of occasions where accommodation changes were not communicated to us or to the guide. This resulted in some confusion for everyone and could have been avoided with better communication.
Overall, though, we had a fantastic safari and would highly recommend the experience. The quality of the accommodation, the knowledge and personality of the guides, and the incredible wildlife encounters made this a memorable trip.
