Undoubtedly the best and must-visit place to be to see all types of wildlife at close quarters. Visiting Masai Village is a must. The price paid to visit the village is utilized for the village itself.

Great place to sight exotic birds and all types of herbivores and warthogs. Fortunate to see a Rhino with a month-old calf very close by. There are lions too. The Lake itself is a great view from every part of the park

Review about Amboseli National Park by Venkat Ramani
Overall rating
5/5

Amboseli NP is a very dusty place with dusty roads. Great place for sighting large herds of Elephants, Hippos, and Birds. Lots of zebras, gazelles, Wilde beasts, and plenty of ostriches. Hyenas and Lions are rare but you can come across a few of them.

We could spot the Black Rhino and Rothschild Giraffe as well. The most interesting sight for me was of a bushman walking and we had spotted a lioness not very far ago.

I could not spot any wildlife barring few zebras and the landscape there was my least favourite in comparison to the Mara and Lake Nakuru Park. Lake Naivasha though must not be missed though.

The parks are impressively beautiful and rich in wild animals, especially the Big Five. It is a unique experience to see the lions, cheetahs, guepars from two to three meters away. Security is maximum provided certain rules are respected. In end january weather is quite good.
We recommend Tanzania, for a unic experience.

Kenya is an optimal destination for a safari experience. Lots of different local providers really trying to deliver a unique experience. Great national parks, beautiful landscapes, beautiful animal sightings and friendly and helpful people can be found there. Highly recommended holiday destination, also to broaden your horizons.

About: Kenya
MUST VISIT KENYA & MASAI MARA IN PARTICULAR, AT LEAST ONCE IN LIFETIME
Overall rating
5/5

Africa is Mystic and a Photographer's paradise. Masai Mara in Kenya was on top of my Bucket list. I have already visited it twice and the latest was 02nd - 08th March 2023. I can assure you it is not the last time for me. It all depends on a good driver cum Guide with good knowledge of the place. I was fortunate both times. It is important to be respectful of the locals and their culture. Nature lovers will love every inch of Kenya. The weather is cool in the mornings and can be sweltering by 11 am. Drink lots of water but never leave your Safari Truck in the wild to mark your territories. Carrying light winter clothing is advised. There should not be any worry about safety in any Safari camps/lodges. The guides and the staff take full responsibility for you and your personal belongings. Even in Campsites in the wild, you may hear howls and roars at night, but, the camps have Masai warriors around to keep you safe. All lodges have charging points for your Mobile and camera batteries. However, battery packs & extra carrying batteries is a no-brainer. My Tour operator was Dennsland TrekkTours and the Driver cum guide was Mr.Anthony who did a great job with his expertise and influence in every game park.

We did two nights in Kruger with a very experienced guide. Great on details of all animals. Saw many animals, including the Big 5! Then two nights in Sabie Sands. More luxurious and closer to animals because they drove off road. Also saw a good variety of animals. Very close to rhinos, leopard and female lions.
