I had an incredible experience
I volunteered for three weeks in August at a children’s centre and hospital in Masaka, Uganda with go volunteer Africa. I had an incredible experience! During the planning stages I was a bit apprehensive but my contact Paul was very professional.
We lived in a small accommodation (but very comfortable beds) with other amazing volunteers from all over the world (we were 6 solo travelers). We lived as a family and we had two incredible local people living with us, who took care, shared moments and cooked for all of us. The local meals were delicious and their generosity and support made us feel right at home.
I worked in a hospital every morning. I took an easy ride with a funny bus to the hospital. I could go to operating room and help also in some operations. I spent some time in the emergency department. It was a good learning experience. I could share knowledge with local doctors, learn from them and try to do my best in order to help the patients.
Afternoons I often went to the children’s centre and play with the children and also take care of them. Then evenings and weekends we spent most of our time with the other volunteers. Going to karaoke and having a beer and chatting with locals was one of our main hobbies.
My first day at the children’s centre was kind of overwhelming but at the same time it's was an incredible experience. It is a life experience that I strongly suggest to anyone that want to spend some time abroad and want to have an amazing experience!!

A professional and customer-centered local tour company, you worth it.
African Traces was introduced to us by a friend from a social platform when we had a sudden idea to climb the Mount Kilimanjaro. After inquiring several different agencies including both Chinese and local ones in terms of price and professional services, we made a quick decision on following African Traces. The trekking guiding team, including guides, a cook and porters and all equipments from African Traces are all perfect and highly qualified. The team members are plain, capable and warmhearted. Thanks to their helps, we finally stood on the top of the African lands and enjoyed that attactive and splendid view, sunrise, clouds sea, glaciers, the power of nature, the spirits of brave and persistancy, so on and so forth.
Special thanks to our guide Kenny (spelt based on the pronounciation) who accompanied us the most, sharing 6-day memorable tortuous but happy journey, we talked about different lifes and hobbies, listened to each other's music lists, and encouraged a lot.
Hope African Traces continue to be a good and even the top tourist agency in Kilimanjaro, in Tazania, in East Africa to serve more and more clients from all over the world with its upmost sincere and quality. Knowledgeable and well-organised
We had an excellent time with Suricata. Frederick, our guide, was very generous with his time and knowledge. The various parks we went through (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater) all had different landscapes and attractions including a huge range of wildlife so it felt like the 5 days were used really well.
Accommodations were also of very high quality. We booked a mid-range package and were impressed by the quality of the rooms, food, etc.

Exceeded expectations!
Mufasa tours is for sure the company to go for! From start to finish the process was made smooth. Pascaline helped with the endless emails despite time differences from Australia trying to organise our trip prior to arriving and she went above and beyond and found exactly what we wanted (: I was a little stressed leading up to the safari but after 3 days and 2 nights we could not have asked for a better experience to Masai Mara! We had Kephar as our tour guide and wow he’s incredible, so much knowledge about everything including the safari parks and animals, he made sure we saw the big 5! Which we did minus the rhinos (we saw them in Nakuru) he went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after, the safari truck was pleasantly comfortable and we felt safe and secure the entire time! I will be re booking again in the future and can’t wait to go again,

Simon at Africa Beast made a perfect two day Safari in Chobe for our group of 15. Highly professional agency, with excellent logistics on the safari and very good care of turist
My 5-member family and I went on 5 days safari with Safari Avventura in July. We visited Manyara Lake, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National parks. So far, this was the trip of our lives! We have 3 children, two boys (15 and 13 years old) and little girl 4,5 years old. I was mostly concerned about her spending 5 days in car driving. However, everything went more than OK. We had a wonderful guide Calvin who was very attentive and caring towards us end especially her, always trying to have extra chocolate or juice or anything for her so that she would feel as most comfortable as possible. He did a great job as a guide, always telling and explaining us whatever we asked him and wherever we went. Every day he gave his best to find as much animals as possible. Logistics were great, almost every day out in the field we had cooked lunch, there were always enough water, juices and snacks in the car. We felt safe with Calvin wherever we went. I absolutely recommend Safari Avventura as agency for going on a safari and definitely ask for Calvin to be your guide!
