Incredible choice!
From start to finish, the African Polecat Safaris team was highly responsive, attention, and supportive for an exciting and well-rounded experience. Once I filled out an interest form online, James messaged me on WhatsApp, ready to answer my questions. I still wasn't sure of my schedule and preferences, but he accommodated my needs and customized my safari based on the number of days I wanted, time of arrival, and need for hotel stay. As opposed to other companies who only followed up to see if we would book with them, African Polecat Safaris was patient and responsive to our needs. Our guide for Tarangire National Park, Aron, was absolutely incredible--highly experienced and was able to spot lions and leopards in the most difficult to see spaces! Our guide for Ngorongoro Crater, Joseph took his time to show us as many different animals as possible, even through the cloudy rain. Both days, the experience surpassed my expectations, and Aron and Joseph shared a lot of context and history about both the animal population and the Maasai people living in the area. Each day we had homecooked meals brought into the parks, and the lodge we stayed in overnight was comfortable with a full home-cooked buffet. When I expressed interest in doing something in Kilimanjaro the day after my safari, another team member John was able to add me to his one-day Mt. Kilimanjaro hike last minute. Traveling solo can be intimidating, but African Polecat Safaris made me feel I was always in good hands and have the most exciting and beautiful safari experience. I highly highly recommend them to anyone!

Very flexible and enjoyable experience
Lots of patience displayed both in person and via mail answering all our requests to tailor the trip to our exact needs. My family of four including a 9yr old and 2yr old were able to handle trip out to ishasha. The planning was great, and small things like taking us to the East African market at the end of the safari, and quick stops by crater lakes and tea plantations really made our experience special. Special thanks and regards to Francis our guide until we meet again. Love Zepha & fam.

Amazing Safari experience with the best Tourguide !!
All was very well organized from the booking procedure to arrival and departure, perfectly communicated. The Tourguide gave us information in detail before our travels and still it was above all our expectations! Fantastic service overall at the hotel and especially thanks to our guide and driver Francis who really helped us see the Safari and surroundings in the best way possible. He made sure to tell us all the important facts of the animals, the nature and culture of Uganda and was at our every disposal… always with a smile!! Thank you so much for the beautiful days together and for the early morning and late night Safari tours (that was not even included from the beginning !) we will definitely book with you next time again. 5 star ⭐️

Good tour but several days bored without activities on program.
I booked a tour with Malagasya travels for 14 days throughout southern Madagascar. We hit some of the major national parks as well as the beach on both sides of the country. The tour was pretty good. I would generally recommend Malagasya travels. I really like that Malagasya travels is a local company, and that's one of the reasons I went with them instead of one of the European companies operating in Madagascar with tours throughout Africa. However the reason I gave them four stars instead of five is because of the following. When booking the trip I was looking at several different companies. I had to make a decision of which company to go with and Malagasya travels would promise to send me an itinerary on a particular day and then send it several days later. By doing this they delayed my decision process on picking a tour company to go with and made the process more stressful. Malagasya travels was not my first choice of tour company to use. In addition to this there were several days on their tour which finished in the middle of the day and for the rest of the day you are left at the hotel. This may be desirable for some travelers who wish to just relax, however for me it was frustrating as I wished to do more activities and not just sit around for the day. To pay thousands of dollars for a trip in a wonderful and beautiful country just to lounge around the hotel was not attractive at all to me and was quite frustrating. However, I am younger and I noticed that a larger portion of the tourists in Madagascar are older and retirees, so to travel in the morning and then have the rest of the day free to relax at the hotel, may be quite desirable. I brought both these issues up with Malagasya travels. So good luck with your search for a tour company to use. Malagasya travels was pretty good but less active then some of the other companies in their trips and have delayed responses when communicating with them. But they work hard and you will see and experience many great things if you go with them! Safe travels!

Exceptional service from professional operators
From the start, the communication (booking, itinerary, pick-ups) was extremely clear.
The tour was exceptional. Our guide, Joshua, was phenomenal with an incredibly sharp eye (seriously 20/20 doesn’t even start to cut it) and an abundance of knowledge about the animals. Joshua varied the times we would go out according to our wishes and maximising our opportunities to see as much as possible, which allowed us to see all of the big 5 as well as an abundance of other things.
I would highly recommend!

Erastus is the business manager (owner), he worked with us pretty well to accommodate and adjust the tour options to our liking/requests. He is very professional and swift in responding. We had two high-end hotels for a very reasonable price, with an individual driver/lead just for the two of us. Also, Simon, our tour lead/driver was awesome! He was able to spot the wild animals instantly which is very important in African safaris. Highly recommended.

Great experience once in a lifetime!

During the trip we felt like VIP. The second we got out from the airport we were welcome by our guide Adrian, with a big smile and an intention of giving us the best experience we could possibly get.
Safari with Adrian is like driving with the Chief, he is so experience full of knowledge and can find the impossible. If for a moment we thought we will not find the big five, guess again Adrian did his best and made it! He never gives up, has a lot of patience and mostly listen to all requests, if need to stop and wait and finding best picture angles too. Very fast we understood we are in good hands and indeed we believe we couldn't have a better experience - we got the best.
Easy Travel agent, Lightness, met us in person at the beginning of the trip, gave us a long brief, explaining us exactly what will be each day. During the trip, she talked to us checking everything is good, if there was any problem, and also second meeting at the end of the trip to listen and learn from us what can be done differently (glad to say almost nothing).

Fantastic experience , great guide and planning
A well planned, well executed 8 day experience, with a customized program across Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Tarangire and the Ngorongoro crater. The management team of the operator were very supportive and easily reachable both before and during the 8 day Safari. For a good safari the tour guide who looks after you and drives the 4x4 is essential, and Mr Wilson was simply superb at his job, with deep knowledge of animals, flora and fauna, the country, super kind to our family showing us an amazing experience while keeping us safe. I high recommend both the operator soul of Tanzania and Mr Wilson as an excellent guide.

An absolutely amazing and memorable safari experience, made even more special thanks to our guide Mr Wilson who was knowledgeable, pleasant, interesting, experienced and highly professional.
