Great experience!
5/5

I wanted to plan something big for my son’s 16th Birthday, and I wanted him to choose whatever he would like to do. I asked him what would be the craziest thing he would want to do on his birthday, and he said he would like to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. He does a lot of small treks, but I was amazed to know his interest in climbing Africa’s tallest peak. I wanted it to be special for him.

I came across Monkey Adventures as I was looking for different operators. Monkey Adventures had a very competitive price and they had a lot of positive reviews. Though there were quite a few other operators whose prices were cheaper, none were a match to monkey's quick replies to our queries. As soon as I reached out to them, Nyani responded to us by mail. He answered all our questions patiently, and helped us decide on the package we would like to take. We chose the 7 day Machame route, as it was a moderately difficult trek, and also offered a lot of scenic views.

We were picked up from the airport and taken to our hotel. We had our briefing for the trek, and they helped us pick up all the equipment we needed. Right from the start, the guides and porters were very supportive, and kept motivating us. Musa, our guide, was very well informed and kept checking our health, to ensure we were safe throughout the trek.

Nyani helped us plan the trek in such a way that we would reach the summit on my son’s birthday. It was a very emotional moment for both of us, as we cut a small cake that the porters had carried all the way till the camp. Once we were back to Moshi office, they had prepared a cake cutting ceremony for us, with champagne and everyone sang the local Hakuna Matata song for us.

This was the best gift I could have ever given my son on turning 16. Monkey Adventures ensured everything was taken care of. They also conduct safaris to major parks of Africa and that is something we will do when we visit Africa next time.

I am really glad we booked our tour with them, and we would highly recommend their tours.

Eye in eye with the lion
5/5

Our journey through the east and north of Uganda was a wonderful experience. The safari company responded to our requests right from the start, and Mr. Lincoln was always eager to make a good offer. The selected accommodations were well chosen. In particular, the Savannah Lodge in Kidepo National Park is beautiful and definitely worth the trip. Our driver and guide Ojok does a very great job. He is definitly a safe and experienced driver, with whom even long distances are no problem. Ojok is a very pleasant, friendly and helpful person, with whom you also like to talk and to spend time. We would choose TC Safari Uganda again at any time.

Safari Specialists live up to their name.
5/5

Joanne was wonderful in her assistance and contact throughout the booking process and her willingness to answer all our questions before and during our trip. In short her communication with us was excellent! We had a good idea of where we wanted to stay and what we wanted to do but Joanne's experience enabled her to make suggestions which enhanced our plans. We were impressed with the documentation that was provided to us which not only outlined our itinerary but gave us comprehensive background information about Botswana, our accommodation and the safari experience. All our transfers went smoothly - we were even met at Maun airport by a representative from Safari Specialists when we were in transit to Johannesburg. Our experiences in the three Sanctuary lodges, the people who looked after us, and the range of wildlife that we saw was just wonderful. Thank you Joanne for your part in enabling us to experience amazing Botswana.

My Trip of a Lifetime
5/5

I have always wanted to visit Tanzania from the wonderful stories I hear from friends and also documentaries I have watched about Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. In May my dream came true when my company sent me on assignment to Tanzania. I asked around our offices in Moshi and was introduced to Amos, the proprietor of Migration Venture Africa.I intimated that my interest was an affordable trip to Ngorongoro and Serengeti and he gave me several options, including joining a group of 3 guys from Czech who were going on 4 days & 3 nights to Serengeti and Ngorongoro camping. I must say that this has turned out to be the trip of my lifetime. I made new friends from fellow travelers who were easy going and fun to be around. We were 4 of us in the Jeep with Anderson our guide and Thomas the cook.
We spent 3 days visiting different parts of Serengeti and then had our last day in Ngorongoro.
Camping was fun and comfortable too. The camping spots were not crowded and that was quite nice. Anderson also chose to follow the routes with fewer jeeps and we got to see so many animals from close proximity. Infact at one time we were in the middle of thousands of wildebeest and Zebras.
I am very happy with Amos for the amazing deal and excellent execution by Anderson and Thomas.
Fantastic!!!!

We had a fabulous family holiday in South Africa, Botwana and Zambia, we'd love to come again!
5/5

We had a fabulous holiday with Quinton (and Abby), the holiday was collaboratively planned, well organised and really easy to enjoy. We had a lovely fun time in beautiful Cape Town, were constantly amazing in the Kruger and Chobe and had great adventures at Victoria Falls! We would book again in a heartbeat and recommend Quinton and Abby to everyone going to Africa.

Wilson is a sympatic and very experienced guide, sharp eyed spotting wildlife extremely safe
5/5

We, family of six, spend four days in a safari with Wilson. It is needless to mention all the animals, birds and plants we have seen, we think it is more important to speak about the person with whom you will be some whole days and nights.
Wilson is despite his young age and extremely experienced Safari guide, More than that, with all his knowledge he is like a wildlife Ranger.
We were on his own car and with this we were extremely flexible in leaving the crowd behind and doing our own endeavours of the wild life, Far away from the big two caravans, circulating a single cheetah.
With a lot of endurance and intuition we finally spotted the big five, for us actually the big seven as we regret that some really big animals are missing this family.
Wilson showed also great flexibility and adapting our price expectations to our needs as it came to accommodation. Travelling with six people in the family of s Wilson showed also great flexibility in adapting our price expectations to our needs as it came to accommodation. Travelling with six people in a family you can quickly burn your money for nothing and Wilson was of great help to adopt the tour to make it to OUR experience of Tansania, and not ANY experience.
What was also of great help is that Wilson cooperates with another Safari guide in Kenya so that we could combine all nice spots in Kenya and Tanzania during 8 days incl safe drop off and pick up at the border.

Suricata Safari is the best
Overall rating
5/5

Ten day Safari with Suricata Safaris. Our guide, Floridi, was the best, best animal tracker, best sense of humor, best patience with us. We saw the big ten animals, up close and easy to photograph. The landscape was beautiful, the accommodation and food perfect on our Safari. We just wish it was longer. Then five days in Nungwi, Zanzibar. Swimming in the warm Indian Ocean, spice farm tours and lots of beach walking. Tanzania has it all. Friendly, helpful people too.

booking and making our life super easy
5/5

Wildebeest Safaris team was our reservations Safari Operations guy Samuel, who did all the hard work putting together our package, booking and making our life super easy. I cannot recommend enough. So easy to deal with, we told him what we were after and he put the whole package together, answered any questions in a timely manner and it all went off without any dramas.
