Perfect safari experience
5/5

My husband and I returned for our first safari 2 weeks ago and still have the sparkle in your eye you only get from new experiences. We worked with Kerry at Pembury and were very impressed with the level of service and detail that went into the planning. We spent 7 days in Botswana and 2 days in Zimbabwe at Victoria Falls. Kerry asked us what we wanted to see and what our usual travel style was and catered the experience for us. She gave us options for activities and lodging, offering her opinions but leaving the decisions up to us. She communicated promptly throughout the process, making us feel comfortable with the process. We are usually a "plan everything ourselves" type, so this was different to give the control over to her, but we could not have been more pleased. The accommodations were fantastic, the wildlife viewing was more than we imagined, and the break from technology was perfect. We were very, very pleased with our holiday and would recommend Pembury and Kerry specifically to anyone!!

Wonderful Trip!
5/5

My husband and I traveled to Tanzania in August and had a wonderful experience. Our guide Amos was exceptional. He was so patient with us staying as long with each animal as we'd like, and he found them all. He took care of everything for us, and he was so fun spend time with. Also, he's an exceptional driver. We were sad when it came time to leave him. Donna was great to work with when booking. She was very responsive, and set up everything exactly how we wanted.
All of our accommodations were great. I especially enjoyed the nights we spent in tents. It was nice to be right in the middle of it all.
Maasai was recommended to us by our friends, and I would absolutely recommend Maasai Wanderings to anyone looking to go on safari.
We felt safe and well cared for the entire trip.

Great Safari Experience
5/5

My wife and I used Vimat Safaris and had an amazing time! From the booking stages the service provided by Vincent was impeccable. He had an answer to all of our questions and replied to all of my emails quickly. Silva – our tour guide was with us throughout the entire time (9 days). He came to pick us up from the airport, spent the entire time with us and dropped us off at the airport on our way back. Silva was by far the best guide we’ve had and we’ve been to quite a few safaris. Very knowledgeable, patient, funny, energetic, accommodating, I can go on and on… My wife joked that we’ve attended Silva University during our vacation. We learned a lot about the Massai, the animals, the flora and all fauna overall, the history of Tanzania, and many other topics. Everything was very well organized and it was a ‘worry free’ vacation for us. The timing of the tours and transfers were well planned too. We absolutely would recommend Vimat Safaris and a visit to Tanzania! We had a great time and many unforgettable moments because of the perfect animal spotting of Silva!

Top notch short safari and prompt responses from the tour operator
5/5

I was impressed with Simba office staff (Sharl) as they responded to a number of last minute changes due to the expansion of my safari group from 1 to 6 (actually combining 2 groups together). Our driver/guide Tom was great - friendly, attentive, timely and very knowledgeable about the animals, plants and many other aspects of Ugandan life as well. Only problem is it is hard to hear past the first row of seats in our safari van as we are driving. Our 3 day safari trip to Murchison Falls and a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary was just superb. The combination of 3 game drives and the 3 hour Nile cruise in a small boat gives you the opportunity to see so much wild life and experience the profound beauty of the physical landscape, especially as it appears early and late in the day. Our cruise was in a small boat and was very peaceful and informative. It's just a great combo for those without a lot of time. I have never been on a safari before but this experience certainly exceeded my expectations.

Wonderful experience in Uganda
5/5

My 16 year old daughter and I had a remarkable vacation with Jewel Safaris. Not only everything was very well organized by Dona, but we felt that our guides Moses and Benjamin were also very flexible to meet our personal needs. They did their best to make this trip memorable. For two well-traveled people like us this definitely has become an unforgettable and adventurous journey that we will always remember. Both my daughter and I had been to Africa before and been on safaris but it was our first time in Uganda. We were pleasantly surprised by this wonderful country of happy people, crazy Kampala traffic, best mangos in the world and wholesome cuisine.

Dona was an excellent host meeting us in person and always checking if we were safe and satisfied with our travels. From his quick response to my first messages to drop off at the airport to fly home, his attention to detail and his consideration for his clients is exceptional.

Two-week Safari / Zanzibar vacation with Lion King was the best trip of our lives!
5/5

Every detail was exceptionally catered to! We were provided three amazing meals per day, each lodge / camp greatly exceeded our expectations, and the Safari itself was incredible. Our guide (Good Luck!) was the man, we felt extremely fortunate to have such a knowledgeable and experienced guide show us everything the Safari had to offer... some of the pictures we were able to capture are National Geographic worthy!

We're extremely grateful for the experience Lion King provided us and have/will continue to recommend them hands down to anyone considering a Tanzania adventure :)

I would definitely recommend Right Choice and Jacob personally
5/5

First of all , the most important thing I wanted to say is that it was unforgettable trip with the impressions for the year or even more.
Some details I wanted to share which were important and better to know in advance:
If you go to Kenia you should be ready to face some "local specifics". People are not always very fast, they don't always provide what you paid for, sometimes they just don't want to listen and understand what you need. This is what Jacob as our guide should deal with on all the way and he did his job very well. If I ever go to safari in Kenia again, I will go with Jacob.
What I didn't like was accommodation. Right choice don't give any advice, just provide you the list of campings and they all are awful and the cheapest you can find (not for you of course).
There was one unpleasant issue with the train ticket for our way back because of this "local specific" as well. There was a mistake in date and we spent few hours trying to change it, which was critical for the timing. So be careful and check details.
Our route was the following: Masai Mara, then Nakuru and Amboseli. I would recommend to spend more days in Masai Mara and don't waist time on the way to Amboseli, we've seen there elephants and cheetahs, but they were in Masai Mara as well. So we spent a lot of time on the way and didn't see anything new. Maybe I'd better go to Naivasha instead. And by the way Kimana Amboseli Camp was awful, don't do our mistake and don't go there - no water, no electricity, no clean sheets, no wi-fi, torn mosquito nets, wild mosquitoes biting you all night long.
