Despite the short duration of 3days, the itinerary was well planned and I was lucky to see the Big Five, along with incredible game viewing across Serengeti, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire National Parks.
My driver-guide was outstanding — knowledgeable, friendly, and highly experienced. He made me feel very safe and comfortable throughout the trip, always ensuring I was in the best locations for wildlife sightings.

I travelled solo to Uganda and Rwanda with JM Safaris in November 25, and the trip far exceeded every expectation I had. From start to finish, the team catered for me perfectly — the entire journey felt thoughtfully designed, and kept getting better day by day. The team are genuinely exceptional: warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. They clearly have a talent for catering to a wide range of travellers — solo adventurers, couples, families, or groups — while still making the experience feel bespoke. Everything ran smoothly, with flexibility and care throughout.
'King' Charles and Derek joined as my guides, and were both outstanding — incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their understanding added so much depth to the experience, they went above and beyond to make every day special. A special mention also goes to Christina in the office, who is super responsive, incredibly organised and very helpful which made the booking process easy.
The itinerary experiences were extraordinary. Gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee walk and Golden monkey tracking, plus multiple safari drives through different national parks en route. The wildlife sightings were phenomenal — I saw more wildlife than on any other safari trips I’ve done in recent years, and each park offered something completely different and memorable. Both countries surprised me and completely exceeded my expectations. The landscapes are stunning, the people are welcoming, and the food in Uganda was standout — fresh, healthy, abundant, and packed with flavour.
I would recommend this experience to absolutely anyone, whether travelling solo or as part of a group. I truly hope to travel with this team again in the future — it was an unforgettable journey and one of the best safari experiences I’ve ever had. You will not regret.

The trip started a bit chaotic, communication fault about the pick up. After a bit back and forth everything worked out well. We had driver Willy who is a very good driver, nows good places to stop for a bite or a drink, he drives relaxed and save.

Well organized and an unique Safari experience
Our safari experience in Tanzania was truly unforgettable, and a big part of that was thanks to our driver and guide. He was extremely friendly and respectful, with a calm and reassuring manner that made us feel comfortable at all times.
He was very communicative and always attentive to our needs, regularly asking about our interests and adjusting the itinerary accordingly. He made a real effort to ensure we had the best possible wildlife experiences, often asking other drivers along the way whether animals had been spotted nearby, so we could reach them quickly.
His driving skills were excellent, even on challenging roads, and we always felt safe. In addition, he shared many interesting and insightful conversations about the animals, the Maasai people, and their culture, which greatly enriched our safari experience.
He also organized visits to a Maasai village and a children’s orphanage quickly and smoothly, showing great flexibility and commitment. Overall, he went above and beyond to make our trip special, and we can highly recommend him to anyone planning a Tanzania Safari.

Well organized and a unique safari experience!
I would like to sincerely thank Alex for being such a great and caring tour guide during our safari trip. As two female travelers, my friend and I felt very comfortable and well looked after at all times. Alex treated us with great respect and consistently made sure that we were treated well everywhere we went. While it is also true that Tanzanian people are generally very kind and friendly, Alex went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe and welcome throughout the trip.
Before the safari, we told Alex what we were most excited to see, and he truly did his best to make it happen. Whether it was a laughing hyena or a buffalo with a bird on its back, he made sure we experienced as much wildlife as possible.
That said, it is important to understand that seeing every single animal is not always within a guide’s control. This should not be held against him, as many factors are simply beyond anyone’s influence.
I am giving four stars instead of five solely due to the food. Unfortunately, the lunch boxes were not suitable for vegans, which was disappointing.
Overall, Alex is an excellent guide and a genuinely caring person, and I would highly recommend him.
