Blown away
5/5

First of all our flight arrived late WITHOUT our luggage but Mohamed had it sorted. He had drivers there who were very helpful and helped us with the airport staff until our luggage arrived. But we're here to talk about the Safari to Ngorangora crater which blew me away

We saw:
- Gazelles
- Baboons
- Black rhino
- Were within shouting distance of a simba or Lion
- elephants
- Water buffalo

Our guide Aron was very knowledgable about the birdlife and very experienced. The scenery was stunning. I will recommend this to everyone I meet

Great Value for Money
5/5

Robert is based in Australia and will find you exactly what you want. This tour was about $500 a day which is really cheap for Africa. The accommodation was terrific and the guides great. The compromise was that there were long days on the African road, and some of the lodges were off the beaten track. Our group had a lot of fun and ticked off most of the animals. In particular, the African Tour Company he used for this trip, Jenman, were great when we managed to miss the plane at the start of the tour, catching up with everyone and seeing Victoria Falls the next day!

Different to ngorongoro but the shear number of animals is beyond comprehension.

Zanzibar is a beautiful island with lovely people, but what did it for me was a day at ngorongoro and one and a bit in the serengeti hands down the best two+ days I've ever had.

About: Botswana
A beautiful wild country

We had a lovely time in Botswana, a country with many massive protected parks. We visisted several of them allowing us to see many many animals as well as different landscapes from the Kalahari desert to Chobe via the Okovango delta. A huge area of wilderness, not many tourists, it felt really like an adventure as we did a mobile camping safari that we definitley recommend with Shipungo Safari! We spend many nights looking at the stars in the wilderness, listening to all the animals living there. The people and our guides were lovely as well, we felt safe. The weather was nice in May, dry and not too hot. Definitely recommend it, we loved it! And we finished with the Victoria falls in near Zimbabwe to conclude 2 wonderful weeks.

Most reliable, responsible and fun way to go Gorilla trekking!
5/5

Living and Adams were amazing tour guides, they took me and my two female friends on a memorable trip to Uganda for gorilla trekking. They were very warm, respectful and always cared about our best interests whether that was making technical stops for restrooms in the road, getting to an ATM, or just engaging in a quite unique conversation about Uganda and its people.
They would always help us troubleshoot and took us safely from Kigali to Uganda.
The food was very good, there were even vegetarian options, and the only thing that is not included is beverages other than limitless bottled waters in the car.
The hotel is supported by a local NGO, and the earnings continue to help the local community to redistribute water through a water-spring supporting project they started. For us, this represented sustainable tourism.
The guides and trackers were very professional and explained to us everything we needed to know.
Finally, the gorilla trekking was AMAZING! One of the best in a lifetime experiences that anybody visiting Rwanda or Uganda should definitely go for.

Ngoni Safaries
5/5

I used this tour operator, which was very reasonably priced. Elly, who was the guide, was amazing. He looked after me well and went extra miles to make sure I have a great experience. The tour was the highlight of my holiday in Uganda.

Hyrax did an excellent job of organizing a complicated safari.
5/5

Our guides were excellent, both Dan and Dennis. Accommodations at Samburu National Park and Ol Pojeta were great including the food. Email communication was always prompt. Vehicles were reliable and both guides were excellent drivers and extremely knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.
