Just brilliant.
Just brilliant. From pick-up/drop-off, to the itinerary, going to three different National Parks (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire), and just the overall service, so good, would definitely go through Suricata again. In particular the service provided to accommodate our particular transport needs after the safari was excellent. Fantastic value for money.
Lewis and Ezekiel made the whole trip very enjoyable, with a good amount of time spent in the parks, and excellent knowledge of what we were seeing and able to answer all of our questions, really made the trip. The food throughout was exceptional, Tito is a great cook and we looked forward to every meal.

A perfect experience
What a fantastic safari. The company did an amazing job at making sure everything was organised and enjoyable. We were camping and it was easy and comfortable.

Clyde and his team gave us lots of advice to tailor the safari to our needs. They were able to change certain aspects to fit in with our budget. The ground teams were excellent and everything ran smoothly. The lodges recommended perfectly fitted our wish for friendly with a certain degree of luxury but focusing on the safari rather than the wine list. Sabyinyo lodge was amazing as was Serian and Alex Walker's personalised guiding. They were constantly available for advice leading up to the safari and on hand if needed during the safari. Clyde saved us by booking us on a flight that left in 20minutes even though we were still at a hotel after our internal flight was cancelled. We unbelievably still made our international flight.

beyond expectation
Our family (three adults) went on a 12 day safari with this operator in Kenya and Tanzania. We spent seven days in Kenya and five days in Tanzania. Working with direct kenya safaris person, Keneth Nduso, we researched parks and reserves to visit and came up with that met our needs and budget. Keneth provided excellent guidance over the months we worked on our itinerary.
Paul, our guide in Kenya was experienced, knowledgeable, and personable. At each park, and reserve we visited, Paul knew where to find animals and birds we hoped to see and observe. We photographed elephants, lions, rhinos, zebras, various types of gazelle, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeests, jackals, and tons of birds , many other species of animals and birds. Micheal, our guide in Tanzania did equally fantastic and really took good care of us.
Generally, this is your go to whenever you want to visit Africa for your safari.

Amazing Safari
I went on a 4 day safari organized by Crater Explorer and it was better than expected. The organization worked flawlessly, the guide (David) and cook (Emanuel) were super friendly and professional. We got to see a ton of animals, eat great food and enjoy every moment of this trip.

11-Day Serengeti, Maasai Mara, Tarangire, Amboseli Park
This is our first time in Kenya and Africa. The inquiry and booking process was easy. Abongo, the founder of the company, was very responsive both on email and WhatsApp.
We arrived to Nairobi City one day earlier and were given the full day excursion to Giraffe Center, August 7th Memorial Park (US embassy), Kenya National Archive Center and Nairobi Gallery. Our guide was Kevin (the company's marketer) together with his driver. The excursion helped us to settle into the "polepole" mode. Tip: arrive to Nairobi at least 1 day early
Next morning we were picked up from our hotel and, after pre-departure meeting, started safari.
The safari has been the best experience thanks to our guides David from Silver Spark Africa Safaris in Kenya and Waziri from Nyangulo Africa Safaris in Tanzania,
After the end of our trip Abongo, David and Kevin took us out to dinner to the famous Nairobi restaurant The Carnivore and after that escorted us to our hotel for a group photo and final "lala salama".
Every minute of the trip we felt protected and in safe hands of our guides and the company.

Amazing experience and great service
We had an amazing trip in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru! Our driver and guide, Joe, was kind and knowledgeable and could answer all our questions. He made sure we had the best experience, finding all the animals (we got the big five!), all with excellent driving in sometimes difficult terrain. Although our onward flight to the beach got changed to an earlier time, he made sure we had enough time to pass by lake Naivasha for a boat ride, which was great. Also, Ruphina from the office checked up on us multiple times to ensure all was good. Overall, a great trip with good value for money. Would recommend!

Very flexible, knowledgable, and capable of improvisation
It was a special tour in september 2021, because there was no fixed plan as is usually the case when you take a safari in Tanzania. It was at the end of the Covid restrictions and I decided to rent a car and driver instead of going by public transport. It was a mix of visiting people and holiday and the plan was changing from day to day. Samson was very capable of adapting himself to my ideas and give good advise. He arranged a hike into Empakaai Crater with the same ease as we did an excursion to Snake Park with six primary school kids. We also visited Lake Natron by car.
In fact it all went so well, that I convinced six people from my country to make a safari with Golden Trips and Samson this year (2023) in November I really trust everything will be fine, I will be there as well!
