Nairobi Park 1/2 day tour----The Gilligan's Island 3 hour tour.
It was advertised as a 4-5 hour tour, it was less than 3 hours in the park.
Our expectations were not high so the bar was set low and they couldn't even meet that.
After everyone was picked up at 1:30 we were told "all the animals are asleep now and the best time to start is 3 pm." So to kill time we drive to a small souvenir shop/snack place for about an hour.
First question is if there nothing to see until 3 then why not pick us up at 2:30 instead of 1:30? Obvious answer---to take us to some place to spend money where I suspect the driver and/or company is getting a kickback. THIS ANNOYED ALL THE PASSENGERS (we talked about it) since it was very obvious what was going on.
So we get to the park entrance at 3 and by the time everyone has paid the entrance fee we head in around 3:20. Funny thing is there were numerous vehicles in the park already and we pass a few LEAVING. Didn't they know the animals were all asleep when they arrived a few hours ago? lol.
Long story short what we saw was: Virtually nothing, certainly nothing of interest until 30/40 min. in when we saw a pride of lions sleeping (they should be awake, don't they know what time it is?). There were long stretches of nothing but in the end did see both black (2) and white (2) rhinos, lots of zebras and 3 giraffes only because we happen to see them far off and luckily they were headed in our direction so we stopped and waited. We pass that area 30 min. earlier or later and we don't see them. We also saw lots of Impala, one Ostrich, a couple of hartebeest and 3 hyenas.
They tell you up front in their ads there are no elephants so we knew that.
All we saw of the "big 5" was Lions and Rhinos so no leopards or buffalo either. Also no cheetahs, wildebeast, Hippos, baboons or crocodiles or well....anything else. Of course there's luck involved and no one should expect to see everything but this was pathetic. We headed out of the park before 6 pm so the tour was less then 3 hours long.
The whole thing was more like a Gilligan's Island 3 hour tour gone wrong then an interesting African safari of any kind.

The lost treasure of nature in the human world.
My son and myself have visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Serengeti in Tanzania. It has been a special experience different from any other travel we made which follows from the nature and wildlife we experienced and the people we met. The wildlife is unique, you cannot see anywhere else and it crosses your mind for how long will it exists in its current form. Whether the wildebeests will have enough grass once the temperature increases? For how long can you smell the trees and the grass, see the trees and bushes going green and hear the voices of the wild once the sun goes down at Serengeti. People live a life different from the western life-style, they link to the nature in their everyday life and instead of the individual they appear to focus rather on the community.
Lion King Adventures organised our Safari and they made a perfect job. I highly recommend them as well as our knowledgable and kind safari gide, Yusuph with whom we always felt save, comfortable and indulged.

Great experience, perfect time!
Beautiful country with nice nature, friendly people and amazing wildlife! Had a three days tour with Norman from Oshisli Tours. Great time in Etosha! We have seen them all. Weather in June was perfect for travelling. Can be recommended to 100%. I will come again!

Traveling Kenya's Samburu and Masai Mara National Reserve with Ramble Africa was fantastic.
When we visited in May, we received warm welcome, and the experience was breathtaking. The tour guide and driver, Domnic was quite informative and being a native Masai knew the wilderness with an experience second to none. The company organized for us a free Masai cultural visit which Domnic did well. I love every aspect of the safari and it was worth all my money. I highly recommend Ramble Africa Safaris!

A lifetime experience
We booked a three day safari with Go Makini Tanzania Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Killimonjaro forest. Lulu organize everything so perfectly and was super helpful. During our safari, Lucas was our driver, in addition of being amazingly kind, he was full of nice tips regarding the parks and the animals. For the Killimonjaro, our guide was Godlisten and the experience was absolutely incredible we loved. Everything was even better than expected and I highly recommande booking with Makini!

Very professional and accommodative experience
Great value for the money. The guides Living and innocent were great in communicating other things to see and do. They were able to capture a lot of the experience for me, so I could live on the moment

Client focused listener!
I had a very limited amount of time and not a lot of heads up to make a custom birding tour happen. After exchanging texts, Nicholas put together a great weekend. Accommodations were top notch. Birding guides were experts in their locales. Transport was as comfortable as Uganda gets. It was how much he listened and tweaked things as we went that just pushed this weekend over the top. I had lamented that I didn’t get to do much cultural stuff this go round and he recommended and graciously added a museum tour that just wasn’t far out of the way, for example. I can’t eat pineapple at home, so I mentioned how I was taking advantage of the local pineapples and he made sure some were in the car for after a hike. Surprise! Also, it is obvious he loves Africa and all it offerings. I would definitely book with him again if I come back to Uganda.

Fantastic
This Safari to Botswana was our 3rd Safari with Kusini and Paul Tickner. He is absolutely the best there is! We have been with him to Southern Tanzania, Zimbabwe , and now Botswana. He has been incredibly knowledgeable about all three countries. He knows animals, birds, and lodges!!
Whether he privately guides you or just plans your safari, he gears it to your needs and wants. We would not go to Africa without him.
