Very attentive to the needs of all the participants
I was picked up from my hotel very promptly. When I arrived at the reserve, the organizer of all the guides was very cordial, very warm and personable. Our guide, also, was very cordial, and he tried very hard to spot the various animals in the reserve for us. He went over and beyond. we spotted some wonderful animals throughout the day. The Guide had a really keen eye, and if we noticed something, he was happy to stop and position the open air vehicle so that we could get a good view. The vehicle was comfortable and it felt great to sit up high.

Made our dreams come true
Colours Africa made our safari dreams come true in Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. We worked with Hamisi to plan the trip. He is quick to respond, answer all questions, and share his recommendations. Our tour guide, Benjamin, was amazing. He was able to find every animal we wanted to see (even elusive ones like leopards, cheetahs, and rhinos), was a great driver, and fun to be around. The vehicle was clean and spacious, and the accommodations and food that they booked for us were top tier. Highly, highly recommend Colours Africa to anyone visiting Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater! We did a 5 day fly in, drive out safari.

Fantastic Job
So many private cars in the park, it makes too crowded. Animals stay away and hide. But We saw plenty of elephants, empalas, warthog, heppo, blue wild beast, giraffe, and 1 lion. Thanks to Shumba..Our guide Shumba did his best to find the animals. His a good and funny guide. The landscape looks barren. Trees should be planted to make it more forestry.

Good value budget safari that still allows a great expérience
I really enjoyed the trip. Our guide Felix was great. He was helpful, punctual and friendly. He also explained the programme for each day really well and kept us updated on what was happening and when.
Liked the camp at Amboseli park. The accommodation was good, the food was really good and the staff were friendly. Camp at Masai Mara was ok but during the winter season the accommodation could get pretty cold during the evenings and early mornings. Also WiFi (rationed in both camps) didn't have enough bandwidth for the number of people connected to it and was very slow.
Otherwise a very good trip, which I’d recommend.

Reliable, professional and responsive.
Mwaka Utanje promptly responded to my initial query, and quickly provided very a clear and detailed plan for my Gorilla Trek. Everything was very well organized and worked out exactly as planned. I also appreciated Mwaka's input and answers to my many questions through the planning stages of my trip, including accommodating special requests. The drivers/guides were also really excellent. Both Moses and Hamadi were punctual, very professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Altogether, good value, utterly dependable, professional and well organized to the last detail. I will call on Makario Safaris and Mwaka Utanje in particular again.

World Class Experience
