We are just from a massive road trip to Tsavo East, Watamu and Marafa Hells Kitchen with buffalo wildlife safaris and they are a awesome team. Planning an adventurous trip to anywhere in Kenya. Ask Juma and his team. They will make it happen.

best guide ever: Alladin, best car too: cooling compartment for food and drinks + a powerbank
5/5

We were very well informed in advance about what to expect in different travel periods, national parks and accomodation. Ben the "manager" was also very flexible in changing accomodation on our demand. He also took care of the inland flights. We could not find all of them at the internet ourselves but he could still book them.(Zanzibar-Arusha) We did not aim for the greatest numbers of lions and elephants but wanted to experience nature at its best. The proposed trip to Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater fitted us very well. Tarangire being not as flat as the Serengeti but hilly and dotted with trees of which the baobab trees stood out was outstanding. Not only the landscape but also the numbers of animals and the variety: not did we only see hundreds of elephants a dozen of lions, lots of wildebeast, zebra, giraffe, gazelle, buffalo and impala but also eland, reedbuck, bat-eared fox, jackel, banded mangoest, common mangoest, small mangoest, rock hyrax, dik dik, waterbuck, brown parrot, ostrich, lapped faced vultute, hooded vulture, saddle billed stork, marabou, martial eagle,long-crested eagle, goshawk, tawny eagle, bare-faced go-away-bird, white browed coucal, hornbills, rollers, starlings, barbets, spurfowls, francolins, chestnut-bellied kingfisher and even more. Our guide Alladin made us feel very comfortable/at ease. An outstanding friendly and knowledgable person. Not only professional but also human. We stayed for two nights in a simple but pleasant "bungalow" from wich we could overvieuw the tarangire landscape including the river( tarangire river camp ?). We saw three lions sleeping in a tree right in front of the accomadation ( at +/- 100 meter)
From the bathroom we saw impala, warthhog and dik dik. How enchanting. Alladin told us we were lucky to be just at the end of the dry season(all animal need to visit the river for water) and exploring tarangire during three days( 1 + 2 x 1/2)( instead of 1) gave us the opportunity to see more of the park and the animals than day visitors. Lake Manyara although small was complementary with its dense forrest, wet land and (salt)lake. It provided us with new impressions an vieuwings of new species: bleu monkey, silvery-cheeked hornbill ( thanks to Alladin: he spotted all of them where we failed to spot them ourselves) black heron, african spoonbill, hammerhead, jacana, black crake, yellow billed stork, hadada ibis, sacred ibis, little egret, great white egret and more. It was the wrong season for lake manyara but we would not have liked to skip it. It is very charming in its own way.We stayed near the ngorongoro crater and Alladin was eager to leave before sunrise to be able to show us some rhino and he did. We saw three of them among which a young. We also saw heyena chasing wildebeast and three kori bustards, a pelican, grey crowned cranes, hippos and more. Ngorongoro crater provided us with new sightings but was not green at all ( at the end of october)
Maybe we were so spoiled by the other parks especially tarangire that we lacked to see the full beauty of the crater.
According to us ( three times on safari) you do not need to spend more than 3 to 5 days on safari to be completely satisfied.Next day we stayed at planet lodge in Arusha. Alladin drove us to the airport in the morning.
We really would like to recommend e trip africa if you want a relaxed and convenient safari and you might be so lucky to meet the best guide ever; Alladin.

Great safari trip for a short visit to Kenya
5/5

Had a good trip with Hyrax enjoying a 4-day tour including numerous game drives. The accommodation, activities, driver/guide, and overall management of the tour were definitely living up to the promise. Would recommend to book this tour if you have a few days in Kenya!

A Perfect Family experience from boiling to the Safari itself, a lifetime experience
5/5

Pre- booking Communications and booking were excellent. Timely and concise, questions quickly answered, helpful hints and checklists. Payment pretty easy even if the system looks unfamiliar.

Shortly before the trip a very good final communication from the operator, with checklists and tips as well as the contact data of the driver/tour guide.

Trip started punctually, in a comfortable vehicle, with our tour guide picking us up at the hotel for the drive to Krüger Park.

Nick Duxbury, out tour guide, is a very competent, knowledgeable and resourceful professional who knows Krüger (after a life of experience in the park) inside out. He has amazing knowledge and practical experience with animals and landscape, manages al administrative steps (Park and hotel check in and logistics) fast, discreet and efficient. We really „klicked“ very well with him with the entire family, with our youngest being 12. Knowledge and an open and friendly personality as well as a good sense of humor make him a truly great guide.

The Safari was a wonderful experience, we saw much more than expected, and it was Nick‘s experience and knowledge of the Park as well as his good communication with other guides and rangers that really made it possible to see so much. He actually put in quite some extra time and effort just not to lose the possibility of getting to see a lioness with their cubs literally at the opposite end of the park. It would not have been the same trip without him.

In summary a great experience, absolutely worth the money, and highly recommendable. When we come back to Krüger ( and we have the firm intention to do so) we will make sure to do this with Wildlife Safari and with Nick as our guide.

Luciano Tours helped me make good use of my one free day at Livingstone.
5/5

After a conference in Livingstone I had one day to spare, so signed up for a day trip to Chobe national park in Botswana. Luciano Tours made the sign-up simple and provided a full day of touring by flat-bottom boat and open vehicle. We were thrilled to see all the wildlife we had hoped to see and especially enjoyed the experience on the water. Our guide had an excellent eye and helped us spot many birds we'd have missed otherwise, and he had good knowledge of birds and animals. The border experience was interesting, and our guide helped us negotiate the visa process. All in all, it was a memorable day and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience
5/5

Our Uganda trip was beyond our highest expectations. Thank you to Ilse for organising and to our guide/driver/now friend Bob for being the best guide we could have hoped for.

Bob was the perfect guide. He was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and advised us on how to make the very most out of our itinerary at every stage. He was friendly, good natured and an excellent driver. He told us a lot about Uganda and its people. Not once did we feel unsafe the whole trip. His recommendations really made our trip.

He advised us on the best way to see chimps in Kibale and the experience was so much better than we had anticipated. When we went to Queen Elizabeth National Park to find tree-climbing lions, Bob found out that they were climbing in a different area than usual and using his local contacts, we ended up being the only car in the vicinity when three lionesses were in a tree. When we went to the place the lions usually climb the next day, we didn’t see anything. But thanks to Bob, that didn’t matter. We also saw a leopard one morning in Queen Elizabeth National Park. We expressed an interest in eating more local food and he spoke to the hotels to accommodate us.

On the last day, we arrived at the airstrip early and Bob managed to get us on the earlier flight from Kihihi to Entebbe, but via Kasese, which meant we flew over Queen Elizabeth National Park. The pilot flew low and we saw swimming elephants, hippos, crocodiles. It was madness. And all thanks to Bob.

We didn’t really know what to expect visiting Uganda, but it was one of the best trips we have done. While we had a structured itinerary, we were prepared to be flexible to take into account tips from Bob, and it really paid off.

Thank you Ilse and Bob and Matoke Tours.
