Reliable, professional, best staff 100%
We just successfully reach the summit of Africa yesterday with Gosheni safaris and 15 members of an amazing team lead by Omary our main guide to reach the summit. Omary is an highly skilled guide that reached the summit for the 363 times yesterday. We felt that he truely care for our safety, he was knowledgeable about everything related to the mountain and Tanzania, he is also a devoted father of 2 and pretty much the father of most porter and lot of guide with less experience on the mountain. He truely love his job. Sam,our assistant guide on the trip was also an important part of our success with his contagious energy and help at all time. Sam is in fact a licence guide so we felt lucky to have 2 amazing guides with us. Our cook Thom was also great listening to comment about the food and adapting to our sometime modified taste because of altitude gain. We add the chance to have Kassim with us that played a central role in our confort. He was listening to us and provided anything possible to make our summit possible. He event climbed to the summit with us as a third member of the team to reach the top with us. Kassim is 24, the world belong to this amazing men and we are happy he keeps studying at the guiding school. Gosheni was more high end then other agency. For exemple, in all our acclimatisation hike, Kassim for carrying a table with 2 chairs and food and beverage. We felt vip and customer from other agency eating a basic snack on a rock look at us with envy. We had the perfect time reaching the summit but more important then the summit we reached, we add the chance to get in contact with 15 individuals that made this adventure memorable. Big thank to Omary (guide) Sam (guide) Thom (cook) Kassim (porter, waiter, Suisse knife of the trip) Issa (porter and toilet man) Ibrahim (porter) Mosses (porter) Baraka (porter) Salim (porter) Frank (porter) Nickson (porter) Samora (porter) Prosper (porter) Malkiadi (porter) Omary (porter) you guys are amazing and of course thank to Gosheni safaris!

Knowledgeable, caring, and a true professional, going beyond my expectations.
What a first class safari! Charles Tours did, indeed, give us a safari that was “adventure our way”. Fabulous hotels in natural settings or incredible lodges in the national parks. The trip logistics were seamless, and we spent just the right amount of time in each location. We had tremendous bird and mammal sightings: a lion kill, leopards, even a cheetah, all in addition to seeing over 500 species of birds. Charles Tours made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy our wildlife encounters without rushing, and made sure we had great photographic opportunities. The best part was being with the owner, Amani, who is so friendly, and always positive with a great sense of humor. He truly wants his guests to have a special Tanzanian experience.

Easy communication, great logistics, and amazing experiences
I loved the experience from start to finish. The transfer to Pilanesberg was smooth and comfortable, and the driver (Sunny) was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The safari was incredible - our guide (Tumi) went the extra mile to make sure we could spot as many animals as possible. We also managed so see lions, which apparently is quite unusual on such a hot day. Tumi delighted us with lots of info about the park and the animals we crossed paths with. Recommended!

A real lifetime experience
Our 3-days safari (Serengeti and Ngorongoro) was perfect.
Mary was really helpful and patient, she aswered all my questions before the safari...and I had a lot as we travelled there from Europe by ourselves, not with an organized group or so.
Everything went perfectly well.
Then we met Mary and Morgan, our tour guide at the airport.
Morgan is an enthusiastic, young guide with more years of safari experience.
He knows a lot about the wildlife there and he loves telling and showing everything to his guests.
All of our 3 days there were breathtaking and amazing...we have seen the big five and a lot of other incredible gems of nature.
Our accommodations and the catering were also super.
We will definitely go back there again...and we will choose Psalms Adventures again for sure. :)
Thank you for this incredible lifetime experience guys, we are really grateful for you all!!

Bucket list experience - amazing!
We had an absolutely amazing experience with Adventure Travelling, during our fully private safari with two people. The advised accommodation was excellent, prices and everything was well arranged from the pickup at the bed & breakfast until the drop off at the airport.
Our guide Elinasi provided the best service. To start with he is a very likeable guy, his English is very good and he has a lot of knowledge about the country, the parks, nature and wildlife. And he did go the extra mile to make our safari truly magical. We slept glamping style in the middle of nowhere in the parks, where the nights are filled with animal and insect sounds. Laying in a comfortable bed and hearing lions roar and hyenas 'whoop' in close proximity of the camp was both exciting as relaxing. I still miss those sounds in my bed at home :)
We saw so many elephants and giraffes that I lost count, but also many lions and even the more rare leopard and cheetah were tracked by him. Even after a long day of driving, Elinasi was still fully motivated to try to deliver us another special encounter - and succeeded. He took care for us as if we were family and I can highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a bucket list visit to Tanzania. Thank you again Elinasi and Adventure Travelling, we'll meet again!

Competent and passionate about travel
My friends and I had a delightful time on this one day Jinja trip with Jungle Escape Africa during the Uganda Independence holiday. We had a lot of activities we wanted to cross off our list and Sarah went above and beyond to ensure that we carried out most of them without feeling rushed, or sacrificing on the fun. Because to be honest, we were asking for too much in a short period of time, but she was professional in letting us know what was possible and what wasn’t. And the driver (Emma) she gave us made the trip more interesting and exciting with his knowledge about the places we visited. So thank you Jungle Escape Africa for making our trip memorable.

Easily exceeded our expectations
"Serengeti Smile" organized and carried out a four-day safari for me and my daughter. My high expectations were easily exceeded. Everything went perfectly, starting from the planning, to the support from the office, to the implementation. We felt very comfortable throughout and very well looked after and informed, especially I can also highly recommend our guide "Champion".
Safe, successful & incredibly enjoyable summit thanks to Kilisa
For the quick readers: We had an incredible trip up to Mt Kilimanjaro with Kilisa, on the 8-day Lemosho route, resulting in a successful summit. Our guides (Goodluck and Abraham) and a phenomenal team of porters, cook & back office ensured our group (3 hikers, 64, 29 and 30 years) were safe at all times, but also learned a lot about Tanzania. Not booking with Kilisa would be a huge mistake - they are local, are embedded in the community, and will ensure you have the best journey with the highest chance of summiting.
For the detail-interested-ones :)
Why this route & Kilisa at first: We decided to take a trip to Mt Kilimanjaro in September 2023 - we included my mother, 64, my partner (30) and myself (29). The fact that we had my mother with us, and that we love more varied landscapes made us choose the 8-day-Lemosho Route with varied vegetation zones and highest chance of summiting.
We choose Kilisa due to their good reviews, but also, as they are from Kilimanjaro and ensure the money goes back into the community. This choice was verified to be the best we could have made!
Organisation: The backoffice (Naik & Julia) ensured that the organisation of the trip was smooth. We had received detailed packing lists and trip plans beforehand to prepare. From the moment we arrived in Tanzania, to the moment we left, we were constantly taken care of and felt very pampered. For example, our guides did not only brief us prior to leaving, but also checked every piece of our equipment before starting the trip. As a result, they provided us with warmer trousers - Thank god, as I saw people climbing in leggings at minus degrees.
The route itself: You will find lots of details on the route itself, distances, hiking time per day on here. We took the 8 Day Lemosho Route, as the duration makes it much easier to acclimatise resulting in a much higher chance of summiting (more on this below). The best part of that tour specifically, though, I think is the varied vegetation. Some people were dropped at higher altitudes and missed the rainforest, which I enjoyed almost the most. Right when we started the hike we saw several different monkeys, birds & exotic species’. Then you enter Heather & Moorland, as gorgeous as you can imagine. Finally you arrive at the alpine desert and the peak. This varied vegetation makes you appreciate nature from a different angle, and is truly special!
Success & Safety: Our guides made it clear from the start that it’s about the journey and NOT about reaching the top. By taking this to heart, we made sure to enjoy every day on the hike, learning lot’s from our guides, pushing our limits without compromising our health (“pole pole”). Our health was always first - from the equipment check before even starting, to continued check- ins during the hikes all the way to oxygen and pulse checks in the night. For many of you readers this might sound irrelevant - but you’d be surprised of how many do not summit, because of a bad guide-hiker-relationship where a slower “pole pole” approach could have helped, or even worse: die. We submitted successfully and happily - but even if we had not, we would have had an amazing trip!
Guides & Team: Our team (4 porters per person so 12, 1 cook, 2 guides) were a dream team! Starting with the guides (Goodluck and Abraham) who became our family. Highly competent - they know the mountain like the back of their hand, but also how to assess a hiker's health. Both throughout shared lot’s about Tanzania, were very friendly and helpful and took great care in particular of my mother. In fact - the entire team did: I remember how one of our porters carried my mothers backpack every now and then, or how others helped her clean the shoes whenever we arrived at camp. They all worked on a common goal: making our journey as memorable as possible. And all of them are kind and helpful!
Food & Accommodation: Of course, our camp was all already set by the time we arrived on site - bags in our rooms, warm water to wash our hands, tea ready in our dining tent. Our cook (Amos) ensured that we had plenty of food for every meal with a varied menu - from chicken with fries, to Fried Rice with Vegetables, daily fruit such as Watermelon and more - we were fed well! He even took notice of what we really liked on his menu - on day 3 when resupply arrived we suddenly had an abundance of tea choices on a camping trip.
You can tell, I could go on for hours on how amazing I thought this trip was. If you book with Kilisa, I know they will do their best so that you have a trip of a lifetime!
