Good safari and we saw hunting!
5/5

We travelled some years back with Sino Africa Safari. They invited us to their community group on Wei Xin, so we are always keep in touch. We were lucky to see all Big Five Animals, and hunting in Masai Mara. It was totally different from the video on TV, but you have to be very patient, patient and patient. Safari experience with professional driver guide is the key of happiness. We could not remember his name, but our guide really took care of us. The company called us everyday to make sure we were handled well. Overall, great safari experience. What about the company,
they are nice people, you just trust them and go with them!

Safari experience was good! Recommend them at all!
5/5

Mr Jong asked us to write review about them and our safari, we are happy to do so. Our safari experience was perfect, we saw what we wanted to see, Big 5, hippos, Giraffe Centre, and we tasted Carnivore restaurant. Things were very good, we were happy, and they surprised me when I had my birthday in Amboseli. All these small arrangements make our safari unique. Our hotels were luxury, Fairmont Mara was the best! Of course, Fairmont means luxury. Their quotation was fair, and we would like to go for Tanzania next time with them!

Educational Safari Experience and Learnt a lot!
5/5

We think we had the best driver guide from the company – Solomon! Solomon is a very nice person, and knowledgeable. He gave us a detailed lesson about the culture and animals in the hotel, because we were so interested! He made our safari memorable, and meaningful. It was not just a safari, but also a learning experience. Sino Africa Safari is too professional. After the safari, they invited us to join their community on wechat, and share with us animal knowledge regularly. We were invited to write review for them, and we are glad to do so. They are good, professional, nice, easy communication, care about their clients. We strongly recommend them!

good safari experience
5/5

My uncle went to Kenya with Ctrip, and Sino Africa Safari was their ground handler. Uncle introduced them to me, because their quality of service is guaranteed, and price would be cheaper. Indeed, their service is great. Our driver was a local safari guide, know everything about animals. Although there was no migration during that period of time, but he tried his best to show us Big 4, except Rhino. All hotels were luxury, especially Fairmont hotel. You could see hippos from your tent, and the feeling was so good, we had never experienced that before. Our safari ends good, and we will introduce you to many other friends, good luck and keep moving forward!

David was super knowledgeable, friendly and really gave us an amazing trip!
5/5

I 100% recommend E-trip Africa. they were super helpful and responsive before we left helping us design a trip that had everything we wanted. Once we were in country everything went smoothly and as expected. The accommodations were all as advertised and David (our guide) was better than advertised. He gave us a once in a lifetime trip!

Breathtaking experience with a solid and professional tour operator
5/5

Me and my wife have traveled quite a lot, visiting the four corners of the earth. But hardly had seen anything like this. And we have to thank SafariAvventura for having made all this possible. A great tour operator, professional, attentive, responsive. They know that for many of us this is a one time experience (and a life changing one), and take pleasure in helping you to make the most of it. A final word on their drivers: incredibly talented, professional and fun! Hope to see them again soon for the next adventure!

Incredible animals, skilled guides. Many extraordinary conversations about life in South Africa.
4/5

Kathi organized every detail. While we were still at home, she found ways to communicate to ensure she understood what we were looking for and very flexibly modified suggestions accordingly. Continued to communicate while we were on the trip, reassuring us that someone was always tracking our whereabouts. Able to troubleshoot a couple of times when adjustments were required leading to totally smooth service.
We had 3 different safari experiences. They were all different and all excellent. Each guide was very skilled. The subtle way they located animals and knew where to position our vehicles to get the best views were my favourite parts.
Kathi encouraged us to go to Tanzania for a true "African" experience. It was a real highlight of the trip.
We had asked for some hiking to be part of out trip. When she included a hiking guide, we had excellent experiences.

Blown away by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail.
5/5

Philippa was amazing to work with. She paid careful attention to what we wanted and made sure to deliver. For example, my husband Brian told Philippa I wanted to see a lot of elephants, so Pippa booked us at Savute Safari Lodge which has a fabulous view of a watering hole where elephants gather all day long.

All of the safaris really exceeded our expectations. We loved our guides and enjoyed bonding with them continuously throughout each of our stays. The accomodations at Camp Xakanaxa, Dulini River Lodge and The Royal Livingstone were particularly excellent. Everywhere we went, the staff reminded us we were on our honeymoon and showered us with love and sparkling wines!

We would go back to Camp Xakanaxa and Dulini River Lodge in a heartbeat. The people there are some of the warmest and kindest we've ever met, and everyone on staff remembered your name at both locations. Accomodations were excellent in their unique ways. Both set you right in the middle of the action, with hippos, elephants and even rhinos within view. Dulini is a must for honeymooners - after many communal meals in Botswana, it was lovely to have our very own safari vehicle and romantic private dinners.

Our only criticism of the trip was our ending location at Massinga Beach Lodge in Mozambique. We had put most of our budget into the safaris, and we knew that Massinga would be more of a 'no-frills' location, but I would recommend Giltedge pause before sending future clients there. Whilst located on an absolutely stunning stretch of gorgeous turquoise beaches, the facilities were not safe or well cared for. For example, steps down to the beach (of which there were at least 100) were barely tended to, with cracks, crumbling concrete and broken handrails. They were not lit at night. The lodge has a pick-up truck with seats on the back to transport 4-6 people between the beach and main lodge, but that felt even less safe than the dark footpath. One night the truck stalled and almost began rolling backwards. At the pool, most of the toys, games and floats were broken or missing key elements, such as a ball to play paddleball with. When it came to mealtime, service was simply bad. One night, we were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu, when we hadn't yet had our first course or even any drinks served. There was always a long wait to get any drinks served. The highlights of this location were the incredible beach, relaxing pool scene, skilled massage therapist and romantic private lodges with decks and plunge pools.

Update
4/5

I wrote a review of Born Free Safaris in May 2018 titled, "Use another company". I would like to revise that review and update to a 4 star review. I have taken many, many safaris - some with Born Free and some with other companies. Just because one trip with Born Free was not up to their usual excellent standards, I decided to update my review. In addition, I received an email from the {resident of Born Free offering to make it up to me, and I do appreciate that.
Previous trips with Born Free were excellent and I would rate them the best of most of my Africa trips.

Outstanding
5/5

My partner and I had a 6 day/5 night safari including a layover in Johannesburg on our way home planned by Anya Visser and our trip was exceptional. During the planning phase, Anya was incredibly prompt and responsive with communications. She took time to really understand what we were looking for with our trip and every aspect of our itinerary was clearly well thought out. This translated into a very smooth vacation at amazing lodges. It was one of the most memorable trips we have ever taken and we are so grateful to Anya. Highly recommend Pembury tours for your safari planning.
