This was just a wonderful experience all the way through. From the moment that I booked the trip until I was dropped off at the airport, everything was amazing. Not only did I get to experience the trip of a lifetime, I also stayed at some great accommodations and ate like a king. You will not go hungry here. We had great Experience seeing the Migration and Islands of Zanzibar, our guide Patrick was very knowledgeable of Flora and Fauna and notch places to see animals. A great first safari experience. We had the chance to see a variety of animals nearby and not in front of the television. I am thinking in particular of a family of magnificent lions to see:)
This experience would not have been so positive without our English-speaking Guide Calvin who was truly incredible.
For the record, our morale was low before the start of the safari (connection canceled, loss of luggage by the company) but he was able to use all the necessary qualities at the right time throughout the safari to relax us and often make us forget our misadventures and enjoy the moment.
He also knew in his role, to give us explanations on our environment (history, particularities of the places, animals etc…) when it was necessary without either doing too much. I'm not even talking about all the services he was able to provide us outside of the safari to help us recover our luggage.
