Professionally executed day trip, great guide/driver
We were picked up early morning in the 4x4 Safari jeep on time from our hotel in Dar es Salaam and given a booklet explaining the trip.
Philipe our driver and guide, who spoke perfect English, also explained the journey and what to expect. One of which was the charging facility & the fridge full of water & soft drinks available to us.
We drove for a couple of hours & had a break at a service station for coffee & pastries.
All through the journey Phillipe shared information and facts with us about places, animals and the flora and fauna around us.
We arrived about 10am and after a quick natural break started the drive around the Mikumi National park.
Over the course of the day we saw several dazzles of zebras, towers of giraffes, herds of impalas & elephants, monitor lizards, various birds & the snuffling and eyes of hippos cooling off.
We had access to binoculars & various animal books too, so were able to spot & read about all sorts.
The highlight of the day was seeing a pride of lions who had just caught their ‘meal’! We were so lucky to be able to witness that!
We had a good hot buffet lunch which was included and there was plenty of choice for all.
The drive back was broken up with a stop to try some fresh pineapple & again at the service station before arriving back at our hotel in the evening. A long day but well worth it!
Very well executed trip, communication beforehand via email/whatsapp was easy and we are so grateful to have chosen to book this through Allen & Wild Reality Safaris & have had such a knowledgeable & safe guide/driver in Phillipe!
Definitely recommend!!

Pollmans the only way to see Kenya
We did the 7 day Kenya Classis safari 6/1/2024 . What an amazing experience!! No words can describe the feeling of being up so close to the animals in their natural environment.
Our AMAZING Guide Peter made our trip unforgettable , he was a wealth of knowledge regarding animals birds vegetable and we were up front for all the best pics.
He had the patience of a saint with us stopping EVERY single time we asked for a pic .
He could spot the smallest of animals in the distance and was constantly on the radio to find the best spots to go to .
He advised us to do afternoon safaris earlier in the day when he knew the weather was going to be bad ( we had rain ) so we could get the very best experience.
Peter went over and above to ensure we were always happy and made sure we were well catered for in our accommodation.
Peter ensured our jeep was kept spotless he cleaned it at the end of every day & out water was refilled & refrigerated daily .A lovely surprise for me My runners were even cleaned by Peter after getting mucky on crescent island .
We made a forever friend with Peter he just made out whole safari .
And we look forward to him coming to visit us in Ireland

Responsive and kind
Sandra and her team were eager to please and very responsive to any concern I might have on my 7-day group joining budget safari.
While there we a few hiccups here and there, they were quickly resolved with swift communication by Sandra and even upgrades when necessary. I received a daily message on Whatsapp asking me how were things going and whether anything needed to be taken care of, which I really appreciated.
Of course one must understand the differences between budget, mid-range and luxury safaris and adjust their expectations accordingly, so if you are unsure feel free to ask Sandra to explain in more detail and offer options according to your needs, wants and resources.
Masai Mara and Amboseli are once in a lifetime experiences, and Lake Nakuru, Lake Navaisha and Hell's Gate are well worth a visit. 7 days is a little long to be travelling and going on game drives every day, so if I were to do it again I would probably break it up in a few shorter trips with some time to rest in the middle.
All that being said, I am pleased with the service I received from Dosasha travel and would recommend them.

Great value for money, quick and flexible communication
We chose this company because of the low price, fast and detailed communication. And we were not disappointed. We had a wonderful driver/guide Robie who became a friend over the 6 days of the safari. He was a great driver and we were always first in the games.Although the car was old, it was clean. We always had enough water in the car. Robie solved all technical problems quickly and with a smile. The accommodation exceeded expectations, especially in the Masai Mara. A suggestion for improvement would be to have at least 1 pair of binoculars in the car. I recommend asking before the safari what the car will be, it is always better to choose a 4x4 jeep, because it will pass more easily on difficult roads, and bigger windows.

Very flexible for changing arrangments.
As I got off Kilimanjaro climb earlier than planned due to illness, my thanks to Almighty Kilimanjaro for bringing my 2 day Safari forward a day and reshuffling arrangements. Thanks to strong cocktail of prescription drugs i was on after being discharged from hospital I found the energy to continue with my booked Safari. I had a great time going to Tarangire National Park on day one and Ngorongoro Conservation Area on day 2. The Safari drivers were all great but a special mention to Frank a Safari driver as he was brilliant on the last day of Safari. He drove like crazy so I could make a flight to Zanzibar. Also Nico my Safari driver in Ngorogoro Crater, was great in organising for Frank to bring me to Arusha. Also my thanks to Abdul of Almighty Kilimanjaro was great in picking me up in Arusha and getting me to Kilimanjaro airport. Lesson learned do not have a flight on the evening of a Safari. it puts too much pressure on everyone, me included. Air Tanzania brought my flight forward by an hour at very last minute notice. The effort by everyone to get me on that flight was outstanding. Both Safaris are well worth it but the Crater is something special. it was like a movie scene. it is a special place dropping through the early morning mist to the crater floor, emerging into a paradise of natural beauty. Be sure to get contact details for Rasheed in Almighty Kilimanjaro as it saves the Safari drivers a lot of hassle trying to figure logistics out, especially if you are on tight timelines like i was. I got lots of pictures and videos which I treasure but they fail miserably to capture the beauty of the place and the wild animals.

Professional, knowledgeable, great instinct - overall, blow away
We did a 6-day safari, starting in Amboseli (from Nairobi), then Naivasha (boat trip and Crescent Island walk), Nakuru and finally two days in Masai Mara. Bushtop were amazing from start to finish - booking was very smooth, and Denis was very helpful adapting the trip to our wishes. James, our guide, was amazing - very knowledgeable and informative about the animals, with a great instinct for tracking them down as well as some incredible moments (lions hunting twice, for example, as well as two leopards, which is very unusual). He’s very professional, and always made us feel safe and at ease. This is my fourth safari (including working for a few months in a camp in SA), and I was blown away.

Once in a Life Time experience
Spoiler alert: This is tour is not meant for those who typically do all-paid beach vacations. African safaris are rusty and rugged, but you will forget all about that once you get into the Serengeti park.
Lucas is private and custom tour operator. You will discuss the plan and route with him. He has an amazing personality, customer care attitude and he is very safety oriented. You will be with him all the days of the tour. He knows the area like the back of his hand and he had memorized the names of all birds and animals. He knows the terrain and area well (No GPS as there are no cell signals). He goes by his knowledge, instincts and sometimes radioing his net work of friends (especially getting getting hints on where the big cats are hanging out).
We had a group of seven that fits nicely in the modified (I.e., ruggedized) Toyota Land Cruisers they use. These vehicle are bare bone rugged beasts (no AC), some of the roads are unpaved and rugged.
If you have the right mindset, you will totally enjoy the safari

Dennis, the driver, good job!
Dennis, the driver, worked very hard, and his eyes were very strong, and he could see animals in the distance, and we saw everything we could see except hunting, which was the only regret.
