I don’t think March was the right time to go. We didn’t see many animals or flamingo but it was a beautiful place.

Amazing animals and beautiful scenery
I was unsure about travelling in March after research on the internet but it was fantastic. There were so many animals to watch and enjoy because it wasn’t as hot and not so many tourists made the experience even better. The people are so friendly and our tour guide Saleh from Lion King Adventure was the best. We learnt a few Swahili words which the locals loved teaching us. We just love fitting in with local life and culture when we travel and for some that can be difficult but if you do, Tanzania is a wonderful country to visit and you won’t be disappointed.

After some research se choose Kiliholidays tours to do our safári. We had support during all trip and even before ( we had some questions regarding the payment, and we had all explenations by e-mail). Our guide in Dar és Salem, Isan was super disponible, kind and interested to show us as much as animals as possible. He definly make the difference in our Safari.

Amazing experience in Tanzania Safari + Zanzibar relaxing time with Shemeji Safari Tanzania
We had a 5 days safari (4 nights) departing from Arusha and arriving to Moshi (Weru Weru River Lodge). We stood there one night in order to see Kilimanjaro mountain and then we flew to Zanzibar spending 2 days in a resort, and the last day in a tour in Stone Town (the home of Freddie Mercury).
All the organization was arranged by Shemeji, first with Anna and then with Emma. Everything was almost perfect. Emma took care of everything, planning, transfers, flight from Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar, hotels, resorts and camping. Everything worked perfectly; Anna and Emma were 100% very professional. If you follow the pre departure instructions sent by Emma, for sure you will enjoy your trip.
Related with the safari, it was super. The guide, Adam, and the cooker, Isaac, were great. We could see almost all the animals thanks the great experience of Adam, and all the food prepared by Isaac was also great. My wife and I were very thankful to meet and spend 5 days with great people like Adam or Isaac.
Also related with the safari, we decided to go to camping. We were in 3 different camping and I have to say they are ok for the kind of camping we decided to do. So, if you prefer camping instead of lodge you don’t have to worry.
In Zanzibar we went to a resort in the south east of the island. At this season there were no sand in the beach, so if you are planning to go before Jun you should request a resort on the north of the island. That was the only thing that was not perfect.
Also in Zanzibar we had a guided tour in Stone town. It was a very nice tour, and if you want to know more about the Stone town history, I would recommend you doing a guided tour.
Thank you for Shemeji and his team to allow us to have this incredible experience. Anna, Emma, Adam and Isaac, hope to see you again one day… and for sure I will recommend Shemeji to my friends and colleagues.

Meddi was a fantastic tour guide and the tour was smooth without any issues.
Meddi was very accommodating during our weekend safari. He picked us out from our hostel. He and his brother drove us to our staying accommodation and stopped along the way for food. He was very accommodating with our payment method. During our safari, he was very knowledgeable about the compound and pointed out many animals. We also were able to go hiking and visited a waterfall during our stay. There were no hidden cost. He got us home safely. We were able to visit the orphanage that some of the proceeds will go to, which was fantastic. Meddi is a wonderful person with a big heart. Would recommend the tour to anybody visiting Uganda. An amazing, memorable journey of a lifetime!
There aren't enough superlatives to describe the extraordinary trip we had on our 7 day Tanzanian safari on March 22, 2019. We were an assorted family group of 6 traveling together, having spent several days in Arusha prior to our safari. Soul of Tanzania has perfected the model for providing the greatest opportunity for experiencing the wonders of the African landscape and wildlife with exemplary service that exceeded our expectations. They were very generous in providing services outside our expected plan.
Our itinerary included Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Ndutu, and the Serengeti. My interactions with Helena when booking either by email or phone were especially helpful because she understood our wants and needs and could suggest choices for the best possible itinerary and accommodations. When thrown some last minute changes, she never missed a beat and accommodated us, seemingly unnerved by our new requirements. Soul of Tanzania offers diverse kinds of accommodations based on the travelers' preferences and we were especially impressed with the unique Gibbs Farm near Ngorongoro Crater and Olakira Camp in the Ndutu region.
You will not be disappointed with the many game drives on this tour, there were Big Five animals it seemed, around every bend that our driver expertly spotted. Literally dozens of other species of birds and animals were also pointed out and identified for us. Our hot lunches, complete with red or white wine, dessert and coffee, were the envy of tour groups from other companies.
Edward, our guide/driver was the best of the best!! He was very knowledgeable, his English was impeccable, he was very accommodating and professional, but at the same time, very engaging and fun to spend our days with. It seems all tour groups fall in love with their drivers, but we believe that Edward stands above his peers and has set the standard that Soul of Tanzania has achieved. His love for being a guide in this area shows through in all that he says and does for his clients.
