good service
4/5

This was our first time in Africa, and overall, the travel agency's service was very good. If the driver had a better attitude, our experience would have been even better.

Memorable & fascinaitng! (a few problems with our guide)
4/5

We saw a ton of wildlife. The guide was knowledgable about what we were seeing and of course his own Maasai culture. He was interesting to spend time with. He taught us songs and Swahili words. He went out of his way to get us close to amazing sightings of animals and teach us about the animals and scenery

We had been intent on using a company that was locally owned so our investment in this experience stayed in the country. Samson’s Safaris coordinators, Stacey and Kimani, were eager to please us and responsive to our feedback or questions during our safari. We could reach them by WhatsApp. The lodging they assisted us in selecting for this private safari was good, as was the food. The tea farm tour they booked for us was thorough, interesting, participatory and the lunch there was delicious. Our stay at Maji Moto Eco Camp was my favorite. Each hotel or camp was between good to outstanding.

I would have chosen a 5 star rating except for our guide being repeatedly late when we'd made the extra effort to awaken very early for his specified pick up time. Waiting for him continued, even after we asked him to be prompt. Also once he didn't have enough money to pay for our park entrance (hundreds of dollars) and asked one of us to cover for him. His Land Cruiser had at least three seatbelts that didn't work, so we couldn’t use the row behind him, which would have been the best place to be to view the sights. It would have been easier get in and out of the side doors from there too, and be able to hear his descriptions of the scenery and animals.

I talked to this company about 3 days gorilla trekking. We have many misunderstanding at the beginning. But they can listen finally we start the trip with them. The driver Andrew is an experienced guy. He drove us to the hotel and took us to taste the local food. Its a good time.

4/5

Our guide Luke was a caring and easygoing person. He tried his best to provid us an unforgettable experience in Namibia. Safari in Etosha ,visiting the human village ,the rock drawing in damaraland, the galaxy sky in spitzkoope. Stay close with wild sea animals in Swakopmund ,The beauty of nature in Deadvlei and sandwich harbour did impress us.Luke also brought us to some traditional market n restaurant so that we can experience the authentic food in Namibia. We love all the arrangement and enjoy the whole trip so much.

Hard working & good communication
4/5

Right from the beginning, the whole RO team was very active and responsive in planning the schedules and itinerary. They also considered & accommodated various requests that we made along side the basic plan (eg, type of accommodation, vegetarian food, vehicle modification, interaction with guides, experts etc). They were very prompt in replying to our queries. This helped us to plan things in a better way. Prices were very competitive and the whole RO team was committed to cater to our requirements.
They are definitely a company to go with.
The areas they can improve is to gain more maturity in estimation of timings, road conditions and distances between destinations. Sometimes it becomes too much for the day and excessive rush & stress. They also need to improve their assessment of properties and should make sure that the customer is not made to suffer for the lack of homework & evaluation of camps and properties by RO. The customer should get enough time for a bit of relaxation, peaceful dinners and a bit of leisure.
Definitely recommend RO but make sure that the chosen properties (camps, hotels) are well assessed before you confirm.

Truly amazing!
4/5

The tour was so amazing! We had a wonderful experience! We learned so much about the Masai Mara and Kenya. The food was delicious, and the accommodation was really cool and unique! The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the itinerary said we would eat lunch by the Mara River (which sounded like so much fun!) but this was not the case.
