Eva at Wilderness Horizon Safaris arranged the trip brilliantly, Bornface the manager at Mopani lodge has a fantastic lodge complex, which is extremely well managed with amazing staff, the location of the lodges are on the banks of the Luangwa river in a stunning location. The guide named Brian for the Safari is one of the top guides in the whole of the South Luangwa National Park, and was extremely knowledgable and knew exactly the best places to find the most amazing wildlife in the South Luangwa National Park. Incredible experience and would highly recommend Mopani as a top lodge, if you want the most incredible Safari experience in Zambia.

An amazing experience!
My husband and I spent the first part of our honeymoon on a 7 day safari. It was an incredible experience! We saw everything we wanted to see and much much more. Our expectations were far exceeded. Booking through Lion King was a very easy experience. All of our questions were promptly answered, and they provided us with all the information needed- from the visas, to a packing list, to a tipping chart, everything was already organized for us. Our guide was amazing. We felt so lucky that we had a guide who was fun to talk to, full of personality, and so knowledgable on all the animals and plants we saw. We can't recommend Lion King Adventures enough!

5 days of dreamy sights
We booked the 5 days group tour with Karibu. Our driver Castro did his best to show us everything he could. We managed to see all the big 5 during the tour. It was an amazing experience, still can't believe it was real!

Kathi was always available while also being incredibly sweet.
When I first started looking for a safari I had no idea where to begin. I spent time trying find out as much as possible on my own before getting in touch with Kathi. I wish I would have found her earlier! She is someone I will reach out to again for assistance. She was very accommodating even when I just had questions about South Africa in general. She was very quick to respond and even shared her personal details with me in case I needed anything. She made me feel like I had someone I could rely on or guide me during my time in South Africa. We ended up at the Chitwa House thanks to her, at the gorgeous property of Chitwa Chitwa and I can assure you it was an experience like none other and will forever be grateful to her for making it happen. Amazing and well organised safari experience! Recommended!
We booked a 2 day safari tour with Shammah Wonders, which turned out to be a fantastic experience. We wanted to do some changes to their 2-day package and have 2 gamedrives instead of visit to village etc, and we wanted to stay at a specific Lodge for the night (Africa Safari Lodge), which they arranged for us without any issues. Our 2 days with game drive with Elihakim as our tour guide was absolutely amazing! Eliahakim did his best so we got the chance to see all the wildlife. He got an impressive eye for all the animals hiding in the wilderness, so we got the chance to see lions, crocodiles, giraffes, elephants, zebras, and lots of impalas among others. Elihakim also has a lot of information to share of both the nature and the different species.
We also had a bush-walk which was great, but the boat-trip on the river did not impress us much. Perhaps it would have been a more momorable experience if we had not already seen lots of beautiful sunsets on Zanzibar as well as lots of hippos on our game drives.
We were a bit concerned regarding paying everything up front, but we got picked up at our hotel at Zanzibar at agreed time, plane tickets, accomendations and everything was arranged and prepaid, so we had no reason to worry.
All in all: Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Amazing safari in Tanzania
It's difficult to summarize our Safari in Tanzania : It was magical, timeless, a real connection with nature. We did a 5-day safari, expertly organized by Kimgoni Safari, in 4 great parks : Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti.
Real places where nature is beautiful and animals can live free. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five and much more.
Hotels and camps, choosing by Kimgoni Safari, were sumptuous.
Special mention for the new Kimgoni camp in Serengeti. 2 incredible nights : having a magnificent sunset by a campfire, sleeping to the sound of the animals, discovering our breakfast with an incredible view of the savannah. We were treated like Dada and kaka, Sister and brother in Swahili. Thank you to all the team, especially the camp manager Innocent, who is incredibly kind.
Thank you to our guide Nahum, who speak French very well, for driving us everywhere for hours on complicated tracks, allowing us to see incredible animals and for his good humor. We had incredible times with him.

9 day Kenya & Tansania Budget Safari
We made the 9 day Kenya & Tanzania Budget Safari. We started from Narobi to the Masai Mara NP, we hade a great guide and gamedrives there. Than we go back to Nairobi and with shuttle bus to Arusha. There our safari to Lake Manyara NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater started. The NP were amazing, also our guide was very good and our accomodations was wunderful (tented camps & lodge). The organisation from 7 Wonders Safari was really good. Every time we had a question during our safari, we got an answer via whatsapp in minutes. So we can really recommend this tour! :)

We enjoyed our safari experience. Communications from this operator was very good. Pick up time was as promised. Our guide, Sunny drove safely. He did a great job spotting wildlife. He was very informative. Our vehicle was comfortable and well maintained. This is a good pick if you have a limited time in Johannesburg.

Simply the best!
I’ve wanted to do a Safari with Armadillo since before Covid. Everything I read about them I loved.
Different from other bigger operators, their approach is very personal and custom to each client.
Richard was very responsive and helpful in answering all of my questions as to help me select the best experience for my husband and myself.
When the day finally arrived, Richard and Morris picked us up in Johannesburg in their unique custom truck and the next 4 days were just fantastic!
We chose the camping option. As we planned several months in advance, Richard was able to reserve our spots in 2 camps, but we mainly stayed in Skukuza.
Every day, Richard and Morris planned our drives to look for animals, they were very generous with their time and we spent as much time on drives as we wanted.
The truck is great because it’s high up so we could see over the other cars and jeeps. It also has windows which can be closed/open so it’s much cozier in early mornings as you’re protected from the wind.
Richard and Morris are both very knowledgeable and were giving us very interesting information on animals and their behavior.
Finally, I must mention Richard’s cooking. Two words - Top Notch!
