An unforgettable tour
The experience was incredible. We did a 3 day safari: Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Manyara. The organization was perfect and the guide was lovely. The camp was very good, located next to Lake Manyara and the food was delicious. The value for money makes it a highly recommended safari.

50th B'day trip of a lifetime
We chose Shadows of Africa as Inge was so helpful and was able to answer all of our questions and tailor a trip for our needs and budget. After arriving in JRO airport a driver took us to our first night's accommodation at the Moivaro Lodge in Arusha. The next day we met the lovely Dullah and Philemon our guide and driver and set off on our travels. We did Tarangire NP and headed off towards Serengeti NP staying at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge in Karatu and then onto Sametu camp for two nights. We then did the Ngorogoro crater and stayed at Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu. We ticked off the Big 5, saw a kill and had a close encounter with three cheetah juveiles who used our jeep as a lookout post. Our Serengeti balloon trip was an amazing experience with breakfast under an acacia tree. Our guides were very knowledgeable and the nicest guys too.

Absolutely Fun Experience- Kilimanjaro Machame
Our Kilimanjaro climbing guides Edward, James and Gilbert were absolutely fantastic on the 6 day Machame Trek, without them we could not have made it to the summit. From the beginning the crew was absolutely professional but fun. Our safety and health were top on their agenda. It was like being with people that you have known for a long time. Excellent food and drinks by the John kept us going. The porters worked so hard, rushing ahead to put up tents. Edward taught us about Kilimanjaro, history, flora, fauna and Tanzania, also took our great shots.
Overall it was an excellent trek with professionals. I’d recommend this company with no reservations.

Unforgettable experience
I found the company and Barack by a recommendation of my colleague that went with them 2 years back. What i could say it as an unforgettable exciting experience. We did Nyiragongo volcano tracking. Barack picked us up from Kigali, we spent a night in Giseniy, passed the border in the morning and went for the volcano. All the small issues we had were solved by Barack. The hike itself was amazing though not that easy but definitely worth it. I can definitely recommend Barack and his company and hope to do some other adventures with him as well while in Rwanda.

Thanks to Classic Journeys, we have the best memories.
The trip lasted 10 days, including a day trip to Nairobi and 9 days at safari. We were very satisfied with our journey. We saw many beautiful animals and cherished animals, stayed in comfortable hotels and learned a lot about animals. Thanks to Classic Journeys and Africa, we had such a special experience. Let me talk about the advantages and disadvantages.
Advantage: I got to know a lot of travel agencies at the beginning. Charles from the travel agency communicated with me. I was impressed by his quick reply. He helped me figure out how to arrange each place and then gave me a good price. After several modifications, we finally confirmed the final scheme, and the price is also satisfactory to us.
We went to Nairobi for a day trip, Amboseli2 days, Naivasha2 days, Masai Mara4 days. All these places have their own characteristics and are very beautiful. Classic Journeys helped us get great rooms.
Amir is our driver, drives very carefully. There is no problem with our car. The interior is clean and comfortable. Amir let us know about some of animals, we find a lot of special animals.
The driver Chris took good care of us during a day trip to Nairobi. He was very passion, friendly and responsible. I suggest you choose him as your driver and guide.
Disadvantages: maybe because of the language and the jet lag, when Classic Journeys talked to me about his plans, I hoped they would give me more advice and let me choose. For example, in Naivasha, we planned to go to Hellsgate instead of Nakulu, hoping that the driver would strongly suggest that we go to Nakulu, which is more meaningful.
It's a pity that we participated in almost all of the self-funded activities, especially the Naivasha lake by boat was more expensive than booking in the hotel.
Anyway,Thanks to Classic Journeys, we have the best memories.

Excellent Trip
It was wonderful travelling with African Expedia. Thanks to the organiser Wilson and our driver guide Marko! Also in Zanzibar we had a nice time on the Nungwi Beach.

The operator didn't return app. 1000 USD to refund not received service
Arranged itinerary was not followed at all. The company didn't refund money for different accommodation and mainly for prepaid balloon safari. It means that the tour operator has stolen approximately 1000 USD what I had to pay in advance.

5 star trip
There were 5 adults on our family trip. We had a 5 day safari followed by a beach stay in Mombasa. It was perfect from start to finish. People were friendly. Food was great. What made our trip was our brilliant driver Zodack who we called Z. His knowledge of the Safari and animals was excellent. Would highly recommend this company.

Incredible Safari & Kilimanjaro - excellent guide
Great company for safari and Kilimanjaro, we were completely happy with the experience.Fredrick was great at helping us organize our safari and trek and was always on hand to answer any question we had before the safari. We decided to pay on arrival and Fredrick accept that likewise as we were traveling with so much cash the we handed the cash over Fredrick
The safari was marvelous ,our guide Elisante was very knowledgeable and charming.we did 7days Serengeti,Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater camping safari,Elisante made sure we so all the Big5
Likewise we did Kilimanjaro via Machame rout in a small group and Our guides Mike Tom,Osward and Haji were very experience and helped us all to get to the top, even carrying our day pack when struggling with altitude sickness to ensure we reached the summit
Eventually we had great experience with Moonlight Tours Expedition and we would recommend go with them

Amazing Safari and Excellent Service
Our safari experience was amazing from start to finish. Of course the animals are great, but the service is what set it apart. We had some pretty unlucky travel getting to Africa. We had 19 hours of flight delays...and when we finally made it...our bags did not. The team helped to adjust our safari to work with our new arrival time and made many calls to the airlines to help arrange our bags making out to the park and into our rooms. Jacob and our guide Muddy were such a help making our stressful travel better and making the safari enjoyable.
Once we got going, the safari was awesome. Our guide Muddy had great knowledge of the park and knew good spots to go see many animals. He was also very knowledgable on all the animals we saw and taught us many interesting facts that I never knew. We got to see all the normal animals and got to see very cool lion experiences every day. Got to see so many cool things throughout the trip.
Aside from the game drives, we also got to see some cool cultural things. Visiting the Masai camp was very interesting and we also enjoyed the bush walking tour. Got to learn about local people and how they have survived and thrived here for many years. Muddy was also very accommodating while we drove around. Some of my friends saw baskets on the side of the road they were interested in and he helped to get them. Muddy also helped go to the airport and work out some refunds for us for all our troubles and also helped get us onto the ferry to Zanzibar at the end of our trip. We really enjoyed every part of the trip. Would definately recommend friends to Smile with Us if they are coming to Africa. Great value, great service and amazing sites. Thanks for the great safari!
