One of the best experiences of my life thanks to the Jocky tour guides!
Had an absolut blast with the Jocky tour guides. Experiencing the Maasai Mara Park with them was at all times more than fun. We learned so much about the land, the people and especially the animals. Got to see the big five thanks to their experience! Can only recommend them!

Well organised, efficient communication and excellently staffed.
Was picked up ahead of the scheduled 4am time. My driver Abedi turned out not only to be a punctual and reliable driver he was also very good at his communication. He managed to make the 5hr+ drive there and the even longer drive back as fast, pleasant and save as possible.
I’m the park itself I was met by my guide Jepherson and our driver (apologies for not remembering his name). Jepherson sorted all the paperwork for me and off we went for the most exciting 6hrs imaginable. The guys managed to cover almost every species there is. We found two lion prides and elephants, zebras, warthogs, wildebeest, giraffes and antelopes galore. The Hippos where a bit shy mid afternoon and only showed their ears above water. Cheetahs and leopards were a no show but I did not feel dissapointed at all. All in all I was as happy as the baboons by the end of the day and can only highly recommend the experience and highest praise to everybody involved in the organisation of my trip. I highly recommend Jackson as your safari guide
We had a wonderful 5 day safari with Jackson. He knows so much about all animals, could answer all our questions about birds, mammals, ecology and culture. He showed us all the animals and pointed out many birds and plants. I really felt that he anticipated all our needs and was very attentive to any request. We also loved the tented camps that he arranged for us. It was a great experience
9 Day Safari Tour
We absolutely loved our 9-day safari in Kenya with Amazing Memories (AM)! We chose AM as they offered very competitive prices but also had some of the best reviews.
Booking Process
- Booking with AM was very easy. Anne (manager) is very responsive and provides lots of information. Likewise for the rest of the team.
Accommodation
- We opted for the premium accommodation. All of the lodges were of an excellent standard other than in relation to Samburu (which was still nice but I would not expect in the premium package).
Vehicle
- We opted for the Land Cruiser over the standard mini van. This is essential in my opinion as the mini van is far more limited off road (which much of the Safari is).
- The vehicle was very comfortable, spacious and well maintained.
Guide
- Our guide was full of conversation, patient and made sure we got the most out of game drives- I’m sure he would have driven us around the parks all day if that was what we wanted! We learnt a lot about the Kenyan culture and the different animals found on Safari. Overall he was very good.
- We were slightly disappointed by the extent to which the guide spent time on his mobile phone - this was both on game drives and travelling on main roads between parks. This lead to many instances where either the the guide did not pay attention to questions asked or it slowed down the travel in general.
Schedule
- We really liked the schedule that was offered for the 9 day safari and were generally very pleased.
- We did find that the itinerary differed from what we had originally received. We were meant to be arriving at the lodges by lunch time with time to enjoy the lodge before our afternoon game drives. As the drives between parks often took longer than stated we missed this on a couple of days and in one instance missed 40 minutes of our evening game drive.
Overall we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend others to use AM! The entire experience was excellent and the service offered at all stages was very good.

We are lucky, that we have opportunity to meet Odero Elly, the owner of company. We went to Kenya for only 7 days, so we didn’t have a lot of time. They organized for us safari, accommodation in Mombasa, bought ticket for train. Everything was perfect. All the time in touch on whats up. We really recommend. hakuna matata

Amazing safari experience
This was an amazing safari trip - definitely a must do if you visit the Arusha region. We did the 3-day Serengeti and Ngorongoro trip, which I think is the best option if you're time-limited. We saw the big 5 plus lots more, and watching the scenery transform as you travel between the parks is really something. We traveled with our guide, James, and cook, Samin, who were both really warm, friendly and knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend Suricata Safaris.
My only tip is that it will be a bumpy car ride on some of the national park roads, so keep that in mind if you have back troubles!

Professional and very kind to support our travel
We travel one big family from Bulgaria 8 adults and 4 kids ( 6,7,9,10 years) and I was lucky to get in contact with Silas from Safari Updates Travel.
Silas offered us a great package to enjoy Maasai Mara ( travelling by local flights with 748), staying at Mara Serena lodge and then return flight to Malindi beaches.
Everything was perfect for us. All the transfers on time, upon arrival there were a contract local person welcoming us.
Once I met Silas at the beginning, all my worries gone. Nice and charming man, ready to support us at every step during our two weeks experience in Kenya
