An amazing country with such friendly people
Tanzania is a huge country with fantastic game parks, different cultures and amazing people. Revisiting Tanzania after 55 years did not disappoint, the people were so friendly and welcoming, it was like coming home.
Although there were a lot of changes and new buildings, a lot of the old Tanzania was still present. There was nothing pretentious about the tours and safari operators we dealt with. I will be back!

Breathtaking
It was my first going to Tanzania but I can confidently say that if you are interested in a good Safari experience, it will be one of the best trips you could wish for, I felt immensely free multiple times and constantly blessed to be amid such wildlife.

My first safari so I can't compare, but it was amassing.
Done Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater & south Serengeti (Ndutu). One better the the other, best to have this order.
Everything green... Late January - February is a good time to visit.

I had the pleasure of seeing Africa - Botswana and Namibia for the first time with my travel buddy. It was adventurous, and fun, with lots of laughs and what turned out to be an intimate and emotional experience seeing the varied landscape of Namibia and its animals. Thinus was instrumental - hearing his stories and experiences, sharing his knowledge of the different areas, and knowing when and how to see the animals up close and personal. Our tour was customized and focused on suggestions made by CrissCross and incorporated our own wish list. They were flexible, quick to respond, and knowledgeable. I appreciated we were put first and every effort was made to meet our travel goals. Note, we are experienced travelers but, you don't need to be. I loved my first experience with Africa and wouldn't hesitate to go again and book through CrissCross - it was an emotional goodbye - we will see you again.

Best Tour Operators in Rwanda
I highly recommend Golden Rwanda Safaris to anyone interested in trekking to see the Gorillas and Golden Monkeys to a safari in Akagera National Park. Every detail is planned and all one has to do is show up! I booked a private solo tour with Frank at Golden Rwanda Safaris and was impressed with his thorough and thoughtful planning on every aspect of my trip. His picks on accommodations, activities and transportation was spot on. I was extremely impressed with my driver and guide, Joana who was with me throughout my 8 day journey making sure that I was comfortable, had everything I needed and was at the right place at the right time. I was so pleased to have such an informative and thoughtful woman to be my guide. Joana was amazing and one of the reasons that I especially enjoyed Rwanda and all it had to offer. The country is lush, beautiful and so very clean. You can see and feel how proud the Rwandans are of their country and how they have persevered after the Genocide. Friendly and attentive - they were great and had every part of our journey covered!
Everyone who helped us on our trip - Abby, Steven, Philemon, Peter, and Joseph - were great. They customized the trip to what we wanted to see and it was FANTASTIC! Abby checked in multiple times to make sure things were going well, which was very comforting.

Magnificent privet safari expirience
We did a 5 day / 4 night private safari with Migration Venture Africa and the wonderful guide Noel.
From the moment we start the trip at Tarangire, through the Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater and lake manyara, everything was just magical, Noel made sure that our trip will be amezing with his vast knowledge and keen sense of finding the animals, we saw more than we dreamed of thanks to him.

Fantastic operator who really structured a safari that fit my desires.
I went to Rwanda and Uganda to see it all. Gorillas, chimps, lions, elephants, the Big 5, and more. It was a relief having a local who knows the roads at the wheel, taking the stress of asking directions in a foreign land (and often on dirt roads) and making transit smooth. Rwanda I can't recommend highly enough. It's the cleanest country I've ever been to. Literally only saw trash once in a week (on a rural back road) but otherwise spotless country, and so lush! Uganda was the opposite but an equally fascinating visit. It's a nation with more poverty and less infrastructure, which made it feel more rural/remote, because much of it is. Beautiful country as well with such diverse terrain ranging from rain forests to the Savannah, and a ton of amazing wildlife.
Abbey and his team made for a memorable experience and one I'd highly recommend if you want to explore East Africa.

Everthing was perfect!
I had one of my best experience in my life with colours of africa here in Tansania. Everthing was perfect organized. The food was awesome and our guide was very professionel. The National parks with his nature was overwhelming.
