An amazing Safari experience with the best guide!!
We just finished an 8 days private safari tour for 2 with Edward and it was the best time ever! We chose Karibu because a friend recommended it and it didn’t disappoint. Our route was Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, Tsavo West and Tsavo East, which gave us the opportunity to see different landscapes (every park was different than the others) and a huge variety of animals.
Our guide Edward was exceptional, always answering our questions (he had all the answers!) and explaining everything. He’s truly passionate about what he does and we consider him to be a good luck charm as we managed to see the Big Five on multiple occasions.
The value for money was good as we experienced different type of accommodations (from tented camps to luxurious hotels).
Highly recommended and wouldn’t doubt to book it again.
And a big shout out to Edward, thanks for everything!!

Professional and super efficient
It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Gems of Africa and Tours. Janine was incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient.
My friends and I stayed at Bakubung for a few days to celebrate my birthday and Janine very kindly arranged a gift and card for my room.
Everything was just perfect and I highly recommend Gems of Africa Safari and Tours to anyone wanting a great holding experience.

Life changing experience
Had an incredible experience with our guide donatus he didn’t stop until we had seen every animal possible even got to see a leopard with a fresh kill in a tree also found Philemon great to deal with and he even met with us when we arrived to make sure we were ok and met us at the airport when we were leaving to make sure we had a good time which was a really nice touch I wouldn’t use anyone else in the future.

The best
We booked a safari experience with Explorer Kenya and it was the first time, our family of 2 Adults + 2Kids visited Kenya for an African wildlife Safari. All the communication with Wycliffe was super smooth and we exchanged quite a few emails before arrival. He was patient and prompt in all his responses and made sure all our questions were answered. Upon arrival, we were met and assisted by the Fast track services then handed over to the Meander Africa Guest relations officer -Steve and Driver guide - Mike. They gave us all the safari briefings plus a welcome kit which really delighted us. We departed for Masai Mara. Our accommodation was well picked and coordinated by the company. When it comes to wildlife, Mike is an expert. He knew every bird, animal, and even trees/plants by their name and we saw lots of them. Mike was truly considerate about nature and wildlife and his depth of knowledge very impressive. He could spot hidden animals and birds from such a distance, it was unbelievable - he has an "eagle eye!" He made sure to give us the best wildlife viewing experience in the most non-disruptive way. We left with fond memories of Kenya.

Knowledgeable and reliable tour operators providing an unforgettable safari experience!
I cannot recommend African Welcome Safaris enough! From the very first moment we contacted them, Kathi Simon and her team were incredibly professional and responsive, making sure all our needs were met and going above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. Despite contacting them at the last minute, Kathi found us the perfect fit for a safari, and we couldn’t have been happier with her proposal to go to Sabi Sands Game Reserve. The Rangers and Trackers during the games were top-notch, incredibly knowledgeable, and made sure we saw the big five while feeling safe at all times. The hotel was a sensory experience like no other, and I found myself eagerly anticipating every meal, eager to relive the incredible culinary journey it offered. The value for money was well above expectation, and we even booked an extra day, which was seamlessly taken care of by Kathi. I can confidently say that this was one of the best experiences of our lives, and it’s all thanks to African Welcome Safaris. If you’re looking for a truly unforgettable safari experience, look no further than Kathi and her team. We already trust them with our future trips to Africa and wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone. Thanks Kathi.

I did not have great luck here, especially since I arrived at noon. I did like the guided hike at Mzima Spring.

I did not have a lot of luck. It was very dry on my visit except right at the lake. I got good shots there, but ate dust most of the day.
