perfect 4-day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru budget tour
I joined Jocky's 4-day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru budget safari tour and had a blast! Jocky Tours were the quickest to respond and provided helpful information (e.g. I didn't know that there were 2 options - minivan and Land Cruiser). It was the best decision to pay a little extra for the Land Cruiser! Our driver/guide Johnny is THE BEST! With him we saw the big five up close and personal. Nothing was too much trouble for him - he would move his car just inches so that we could get a better view of an animal and he even woke up early just so we could catch the sun rise. Johnny was also very knowledgeable about the different animals but the best thing about him is that he is so jolly and happy! Jocky Tours is really lucky to have Johnny on their team. I would highly recommend Johnny (and Jocky Tours) for any safari in Kenya!
As an aside, it was also great to see all the tour operators working together to car pool tourists returning to Nairobi everyday! This is in the best interest of all tour operators as it enables tours of any duration to start on any day (without having to wait for a minimum number of people to join a particular tour with a particular tour company departing on a particular day). Tour operators elsewhere should consider adopting this approach.

Amazing trip and great value
We traveled with Sekanka to the Delta in early January 2023. Tepo organised everything for us, and was quick to respond to my questions and queries making the planning easy. The price was also very good considering the trip and location. We were taken by Thalo and Lenti into the delta, who treated us very well, the camping and lodging was great. They went above and beyond in our game drives, ensuring the best possible sightings. The only thing we regret is not spending longer with them! Absolutely an amazing trip that we would recommend to anyone.

Meeting chimpanzees in their natural environment and be allowed to be there is beyond words. Not only that having access and being guided by the rangers, researchers, scouts and private guide is something which makes this experience out of this world! Having all this people with all this knowledge makes this an experience I and my family will newer forget!

Really excellent. It spoiled us when we got to the two other reserves. Exactly how one imagines Kenya.

Beautiful, especially for birds around the lake. But the lake appears to be drying up.

Beautiful place, though sparse in animals when compared to the Masai Mara. Great for elephants. Alas, turning partially into desert.

Incredible nature and wildlife
Our trip to Kenya with my husband and 3 children (15,13,11) exceeded every expectation. The safari was amazing, we saw every animal up close. Our guide was brilliant and our accommodation was fabulous.
I can't recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic experience and unforgettable!
Went with Colours of Africa on a special private trip which started in Arusha. From there we went to the Serengeti and camped there for one night and saw two of the big one. It was a bit airy to know that the eyes we saw in the night at the camping place were hyenas! From there we went and camped on the Ngorogoro crater edge saw Elephants next to the campsite. Next day we went to the crater and what a feast seeing Lion family, antilopes, hyenas swimming, buffalos, hippo family and etc etc so many animal and birds! In the afterthought we should maybe had at least two extra days in these two places! But we got lucky and saw so many of the native animals in these places birds, mammals, reptiles and insects. From there we went to Arusha again and stayed one night there! Visited a Massai village on the way to Arusha and I would recommend that everybody should visit one! From Arusha we went to Materuni village and the highlight was getting coffee made in front of us i.e. from bean to cup and getting a meal served by local people.
From Arusha we went to Kigoma to visit Gombe national park! It is a privilege to be allowed to stay at the same place and Jane Godall did her studies on the chimpanzees! Saw a lot of them and baboons and it is strange to have them walking only arms length from you! We stayed there for 2 nights and what a experience!
From there we went to Zanzibar and stayed 3 days!
Got lot of pictures i.e. more than 4000!
The Guides and chefs were exceptional! Highly recommendable company!
