Incredible experience with Lion King Adventures
Back in October, my girlfriend and I decided to visit Tanzania to enjoy its nature and national parks. After a thorough research, we reached out to more than 12 operators, among which Lion King Adventures.
No surprise, Lion King’s reaction was kind, rapid, relevant and the initial discussions to form a first offer was of great quality. I may say that the level of confidence we felt with Caroline was key to decide to proceed with them.
After an active email exchange, we finally booked a personalised/ private 10-day trip at the North of the country, including: 2 days at the foothills of Kilimanjaro for hiking and tribe visits (Manadara Hut, Materuni Waterfalls), 5 days for safari (Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) and 2 more for other cultural activities (biking at the shore of lake Manyara and cultural visit in Arusha).
To plan the operational part of the trip, a designated agent took over our dossier and planned all the details (bookings, logistics etc.), sharing with us advice and supporting us on preparing the trip from our side. Rose was extremely helpful and reactive, and she kept supporting us even during the trip when needed.
Regarding the actual trip, we had the luck to have been assigned with Fred, an experienced safari guide, exceptional professional and extremely trustworthy and kind human. Fred was always on time, always available for us, with great wildlife knowledge and a true gift on animal spotting during safari. Fred is a legend!
He picked us from the airport with one of the company’s Toyota Land Cruiser’s that would be our moving home for the next 10 days. Everything was perfectly clean and ready for us. The first interactions were key to start getting to know each other and build the necessary confidence. It was our first time in Africa for both of us so everything felt new as we were exploring the unknown.
During the whole trip, Fred was our point of reference assuring that everything goes smoothly. Regarding specific activities like hiking at the foothills of
Kilimanjaro, mountain biking at Mtu wa Mbu or walking safari in the Manyara national park, local guides would join us for a few hours. Every guide that contributed to our trip was of great quality.
Throughout the journey the food was great as Fred would provide us food cooked from the chefs of the lodges we would spend the night at. These little touches are not always provided by safari operators.
To conclude, we had an excellent time with Lion King throughout the trip, including pre-booking and planning, and would strongly recommend them to anyone that wants to explore the natural wonders and the amazing people of Tanzania!

Great Safari experience
We used Lappet Faced Safaris as part of a safari November 2022. From the time they picked us up at Kilimanjaro Airport to dropping us off at Taasa Lodge, everything worked seamlessly. Our driver/guide Michael was safe, knowledgeable and prompt. He drove us for 5 days from Arusha to Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater to the Central Serengeti and finally to Lobo Airstrip to hand us over to the next part of the trip. He made sure we had water, all the time we wanted to take photos and that we were always safe. We saw plenty of animals, most times up close and personal and he just seems to know where to find them. The truck was always clean and we grew to love the "Tanzanian massages" we got along the way. Lappet Faced Safaris made this trip of a lifetime even more special.

EFFICIENT, NOTHING TOO MUCH TROUBLE, PETER THE GUIDE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL AND PATIENT.
Two of us went to the Masai Mara as a tailor made tour to video the wildlife and the wildebeest migration, starting in the Mara and returning back via Amboseli N.P. for the second part of the trip in Tanzania. Our guide / driver in Kenya was Peter Kimunya. We requested the vehicle to have special bars to be installed so we could rest the cameras on while videoing from the windows and also the middle row of seats to be removed to give us more room. When we arrived, Peter had already removed the seats for us and installed the bars, he also provided us with bean bags to rest the cameras on while filming from the open top. Peter himself was very knowledgeable keen and enthusiastic and most importantly for us videoing, patient. All the accommodation was good with good food. The balloon trip that we requested over the Mara was well run and great fun. Overall the trip went like clockwork, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and guide.

My experience was adventerous
The game drive was fun which gave me an experience. Bernard our driver was outstanding and he knew where to find all the animals that I wanted to view. Bernard even knew the names of the many Birds we saw. I would recommend this company, especially if you are a budget travel like me. I would love to repeat this trip.

Everything was as promised
Our guide was genuine and wonderful. The driver James made us feel safe, he gave the information about Masaai Mara in a way that no one else had said . We visited many beautiful and atmospheric places and learned a lot about where we went. My friends are happy, they have a lot of impressions and photos. Would recommend this trip to absolutely everyone

Fantastic Honeymoon Safari in Tanzania
I spoke to a few different agents, but Mary seemed the most knowledgeable and understood what it was we were looking for. She offered us thoughtful choices for our holiday, working within our budget. The travel information was well organized and easy to follow. The service Gilmag Safaris offered was throughout and also great. Mary was very responsive and easy to get hold of, and always extremely helpful. All the transfers went smoothly. The whole trip was efficient and effortless for us. The organization was impressive and we were completely at ease transiting the parks. In a nutshell, Gilmag Safaris delivered on everything that we asked for. Friendly and reliable Safari Specialist
We booked a 4 days budget safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours and have been very satisfied. Before the trip is was very easy to communicateand arrange everything with our contact person mr Bartho. He replied regular via email and whatsapp and the send information has been matching with the tour.
During the tour our guide and driver is very friendly and able to inform us about the animals and answer all questions. The cook we traveled with us was able to provide excellent daily breakfast,lunch and dinner matching the requirements of the different people.

Incredible experience with an amazing company
Where to begin? We had the most incredible safari with Image. From the start Mwanje was super responsive, communicative and detailed when we were looking for safari options months in advance. We were given a detailed itinerary that was followed completely. Mwanje kept in contact and answered all of our questions promptly.
When the time finally came everything was so smooth. We were picked up in Nairobi by our guide Jasan- I cannot say enough good things about him! He is an excellent guide - extremely knowledgeable and friendly, easy to talk to and also gives you a good amount of privacy. We loved getting to know him during our trip and becoming friends. On safari he could not have been better - that man works hard! There were times where we wondered how he does it! He would drive for hours and then somehow still have energy to spot animals and answer all of our questions. He found us all of the Big 5, and then some! Picture yourself watching the sunrise over the plains, standing up in your safari vehicle with the wind in your hair while a Serval jumps out of its hiding place and prances away, elephants graze in the background and you can hear lions roar. We had an absolute blast and I loved every minute.
We stuck with the minivan, and it was perfect for us (a couple).
The accommodation and food were all amazing too! I’m a vegetarian and I ate VERY well. The Serena hotel in Masai Mara was one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever been to.
If you’re considering booking a safari with image DO IT! It’s one of the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced and I’ve been all over the world. I hope to do it again one day!
