Best trip ever! Great organization and Charlie's Travels showed us the real African experience!
This summer we planned our honeymoon (during high season) with Charlie's Travels. Normally we plan all our trips ourselves, but since we heard such great stories and we were already planning and stressing about our big day we loved to give our honeymoon trip out of our hands. It was the BEST choice ever!! We didn't want the standard Africa trip with only a safari's but really experience the real Africa. They really helped us out to make te right choices so we didn't had the feeling at all it was high season. We discovered cool city's, did all kinds of cool safari's - on the bike for example, went hiking, sleep with the Masaai and we'd really get to know the African culture and along the way they booked the most fun and romantic accomodations for us.
Simone really put together a great variously trip and it was really off the beaten track. We did things that we wouldn't do if we planned the trip ourselves, and in the end they were the most unforgettable experiences.
For (in my opinion) a really honest price they help you with literally everything!! They have really cool guides they work with and they showed us the REAL African experience in Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar. They keep in touch with you along the way, help you with tips and reservations (big thanks to Simone & Kennedy)!
Long story short: if you want the real african deal, you really should book your trip with Charlie's Travels.

Amazing safari experience as always - it will be perfect whenever you book with Rose
Rose is amazing and super efficient. She will make sure that you will always be well taken care of. It's our third booking with her, and everything went according to plan - like clockwork.
All the camps that Rose recommended in Namibia were great, with excellent service and experience.

Eastern Highlands Tour
I hadn't been to the beautiful Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe for many years. Two friends and I thought it would be a good thing to do a self-drive holiday after a safari in the Zambezi Valley.
I asked Suzanne, co-owner of Vayeni, to suggest and price a 6-night tour of the Eastern Highlands and Great Zimbabwe, staying at good hotels and lodges.
When the prices came back I thought there'd been a mistake - prices for hotels, including the fabulous Leopard Rock Hotel, and meals were so low! But those were the prices - some pretty negotiaters at Vayeni.
Cost of the car hire was also very competitive.
Vayeni's Mel met us in Harare and saw us into our hotel, delivered the car and remained in touch throughout our trip. Bookings were reliable, the places which Vayeni had suggested were great and the whole trip went like clockwork.
I've referred Vayeni to other Aussie friends and they report similar satisfaction.
Good people and I'll use them again.

A great itinerary - great balance in regards to activities - great accommodation.
Excellent communication - well balanced in terms of activities - great accommodation - all of the transfers were trouble free. Vayeni’s representative dropped in at the Lodge on the first day to touch base - a nice touch and very personal making the visit to Victoria Falls enjoyable and memorable.

Great safari, superb game guide
We used Kiliholidays for our trip into the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and lake Manyara. Thomas was our guide and not only was he a superb guide but great company too on our 4 day trip.
We saw more than we expected, loads of cheetah, lions, buffalo, hippos, elephants and a wonderful black rhino. And of course lots of other creatures and birds too
Mack has always been very quick to answer our questions and his company offers a very personal service so we would highly recommend

Outstanding customer care.
Excellent Safari Adventure
We had a group of 5. We took an evening sunset game drive at Murchison National Park and an early morning sunrise game drive. Both were exceptional. We saw a lot of wildlife - elephants, giraffes, lion, lioness, hippos etc. Our guides especially Sedrick did a good job of explaining different parts of the trip. Our group has used Ngoni Safaris Uganda Company. This was my first time with this crew I can see why we continue to use them. Their service is awesome! I would highly recommend them!

Amazing Serengeti safari
We came with my wife on a 5 days/4nights safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorngoro and lake manyare NP. There was a prepayment by bank transfer and the rest of the amount was payed cash in Tanzania to Mack, the owner of the company, who personaly met us on our first day. First and last days we slept in a luxury lodge with swimmingpool. The 2 nights in the Serengeti we slept in very comfortable and luxury tent camps. We booked this holidays with Kiliholidays because they had good reviews, and good prices. Our guide did a good job and fullfilled all our wishes, if we wanted to see some specific annimal, he tried to find it. Overall we had a wonderfull experience with Kiliholidays and we would highly recommend them for your safari.

Maryke was kind and resolutive all the time. Helped ud with some issues duribg the stay.
Since the beginning it was very easy and fast to communicate with bst tours. They are all very helpful and present all the time. Would try to think better ways of payment due to high taxes we payed for the safari (almost 10% just for doing the payment because of brazilian laws).
Considering the Jamila Lodge, they could improve the shower quality, and also they forgot to turn on the gas in our forst night and we had just cold water in the our room. Everything else was Ok. The staff are VERY gentle.

Outstanding Experience With Classic Journeys
We had a rough itinerary for our first trip to Africa, and we wanted to visit Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. We had never done anything of this duration and scope before, and we were reliant on Elvis Ayieko and his great staff for their recommendations and input. We changed our plans several times, and Elvis was extremely patient with our questions and modifications. This was truly a trip of a lifetime for us. We started our trip in Uganda with a short visit to see and raft the Nile River. The accommodations in Jinja were wonderful, and Joseph, our driver was great. We took a short flight from Entebbe to Nairobi, where we were picked up by Chris, and we began our savannah safari experience early the next day. George was our guide and driver in Kenya and he was outstanding. He is very knowledgeable and taught us a great deal about the wildlife and the ecosystem of the Serengeti. He always went out of his way to highlight interesting spots along the way and inform and educate us about the fascinating culture of Kenya. We visited Samburu National Park, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Masai Mara National Game Reserve. Our timing placed us in the middle of the Great Migration, and we got to see lots of wildlife. We switched guides at the border, and once again, our guide Hassan was always polite, helpful and knowledgeable. In Tanzania we visited the huge Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro National Conservation Area. Truly a gem of our planet! The wilderness camps in the Serengeti were especially fascinating. We then crossed the border back into Kenya, and we were fortunate to have George as our driver once again. We then visited Amboseli National Park before heading back to Nairobi (with Chris as our guide again) to see the Karen Blixen House and the Kenya National Museum. I can't recommend this company enough. The lodging was all topnotch and the food was always outstanding. And finally, one of the main highlights of the trip was the friendly, considerate people we met. Travel in Africa can be difficult, but the tour guides, and the hotel staff were always kind, courteous, and helpful.
