Simply an unique and unforgettable experience
We did a 4 days Safari trip around Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Norton. It was the most amazing experience ever, perfectly organized from our arrival to the departure.
We will never forget our fantastic guide, Rashid. He was very professional, tireless and also too funny and friendly!
We enjoyed every place we have been: the accommodations were very clean and comfortable, the food was very good and every our requests was satisfied.

The dream trip to Tanzania with African Big Cats Safaris
We stayed 2 days at Tarangire (boababs, birdwhatching and elephants: the most beautiful landscapes), 5 days at Serengeti (simply the most beautiful park of Africa, with sightings of all kinds of animals, especially dozens of felines, and viewing the savannas from a balloon), 1 day at Ngorongoro (black rhino: go there early in the morning 'cause it's not so crowded) and 1 day at Lake Manyara (monkeys, baboons and night safari) with African Big Cats Safaris and the legendary guide Karim.
Wonderful places, unforgettable animal sightings, unique colors! The organization with African Big Cats was impeccable: we had the possibility to customize the itinerary based on our taste: we were very interested in spotting animals and a 9-day safari (plus 2 days of travel) allowed us to spend a lot of time with them (from about 06:30 to 18:00, each day), with no hurry, being able to appreciate every single moment and having the necessary time to learn from the guide and observe the behavior of each adn every animal.
Karim was simply brilliant, indulged all our wishes, allowed us to see lots of animals (thanks to his experience and knowledge of nature) and taught us so many things (also about the life there in Tanzania). In addition, he allowed us to take the best photos possible, always positioning the jeep optimally. We are already planning another trip with African Big Cats next year.

Great experience
Despite being advertised as a budget tented safari, I only spent one night in a tent and the rest in private rooms. Food was plentiful and tasty and the water was kept cold. The landscapes and high wildlife numbers were breathtaking. Comfortable land cruiser and excellent driving skills.

This was our first safari but Kameraz did excellent job selling Africa to us. It was very smooth ride from start to finish. Our guide Peter was very knowledgeable about all the animals - large and small and also knows the parks very well. He knows where to stop on the longer rides. The company leader Carol was available to answer all our questions. I recommend safari with this company!

Absolutely fantastic tour company. Immanuel (the founder) goes out of the way to meet the guest before and after the trip to make sure they are prepared and also, to capture valuable feedback for future customers. The trip is planned with a great level of detail and when flexibility is needed, African Big Cats is more than happy to accommodate. All of the hotels booked didn’t disappoint and even when we had a minor issue with one of the hotels, Immanuel himself got on the phone and resolved it immediately.
Our guide, Lordi, was incredible. He was so knowledgeable about all details — not just around the animals but more importantly, the culture of the Tanzanian people, that just make the trip so much more memorable and enjoyable. He was incredibly friendly, awesome with the kids, and more than patient with all of us (the kids in particular could get loud). These things are important — especially when you consider we are with each other for at least 12 hours a day in the car. Lordi said before the trip that we would become family and by the end of the trip, he was so right.
One example of Lordi’s knowledge. He saw a migration of Wildebeests coming. Instead of just stopping the keep, he know right where they were going. So he sped up and put us in position at a bank of a river — sure enough, 5 min later, we found ourselves face to face with the migration. It was an incredible experience that our fellow guests were incredibly jealous of when we shared our stories back at the hotel
You need to use African Big Cats. They have the knowledge, experience, and attention to detail that will make your trip to Tanzania a memorable one.

Organised, reachable anytime, fun
This my first safari and I will never forget it.
We booked the tour through Nelson who explained everything to us and made it easy to decide to do the safari through him.
Our driver/guide was Bryson and our cooks name was Prosper. They were nothing but excellent, fun and organised everything perfectly.
We did a shared safari with three others for 5 days. 1day Taragire, 2+3d Serengeti, 4d Ngorongoro, 5d Lake Manyara. We slept two nights in tents and two nights in little houses. We had most of the time warm water to shower. The facilities were clean and the food amazing! We all gained weight. They had water prepared for us every day and Bryson drove very safe and stopped for everything we wanted to see or did another angle for the pictures. He had really patience with us and could explain every animal we saw.
There is honestly nothing negative or to complain. Everything was very well communicated with us and I loved it. It cost us 850 dollar each + tips

Reliable travel agent who perfectly organized our successful three week tour.
Brilliant Safaris professionally arranged a private three week tour visiting Selous (Nyerere), Mikumi, Serengeti (migration), Ngorongoro and Tarangire. We are two serious amateur photographers and experienced travellers. The trip was perfectly organized. Our very friendly driver guides (one for the South, Hassan, another for the North, Gabriel) perfectly understood our specific needs. They were patient, flexible and very knowledgeable about the terrain and wildlife. They always knew where to find what we were looking for. The person responsible at Brilliant (Jane) was reachable each time when needed and responsive, in daily contact with the driver guides. The lodges and camps (mid-range, according to our request) were well chosen, nice and comfortable and the car was well adapted for photography. The price of the trip was reasonable considering the benefits, reliability and service. We will certainly choose Brilliant Safaris again when we return to Tanzania. I can only recommend.
