Very flexible and reliable but with strange surprise at the end.
First of all, we would like to thank a lot to our guide and driver – Eddie Nsubuga Kizito. A friendly, wise, responsible man with a great sense of humour and a lot of insight into Ugandan wildlife, culture, society and history His ability to spot and recognise animals and plants was impressive, just like his knowledge about animal behaviour. A careful but decisive driver in sometimes very difficult terrain with map of curvy park roads in his head. We managed to get away from many difficult situations only thanks to his great commitment. He always found a smile for us. Apart from everything that was planned he used spare time to show us things that extended our knowledge about the country. Without him, our trip would be worth much less.
As for the agency – it was flexible, adjusted itinerary to our needs, replied to all mails with lightning speed and there was no problem with initial payment. Hotels, gorilla and chimpanzeee tracking were all properly booked and we made all the points of our itinerary. So it was weird that agency gave our guide money suffficient just for the trip. When extra costs appeared (tyres to be fixed), they asked us to lend them money so that our guide could pay for our last night and petrol to come back to Entebbe – this money hasn’t been returned...

PERFECTION!
From the moment we contacted Kathi at African Welcome Safari's, we knew we were onto a winner. Kathi put together a great itinerary for us to Victoria Falls, Cape Town, Kruger / Hoedspruit & Jo'burg. Transfers, Tours, Accom, Flights were all taken care, we just had to show up. The quality of everything was perfect and the communication was brilliant! Kathi stayed in touch throughout the trip to answer any questions we had and assist if we had any issues. Everything was just so easy!
This was our first time in Africa and Kathi had some great advise and helped us plan the trip of a lifetime! Would highly recommend African Welcome Safari's!

Friendly, professional and a lot of fun.
The communication with Patrick was always constructive and fast. The game drives were outstanding and we saw the big five within 24 hours! The drivers made sure that we could see the most interesting places and animals at Massai Mara. Furthermore, the tents where we stayed were super comfortable with our own bathroom. The food in our Camp Enkorok was delicious and made with a lot of love. The Massai people who were at our camp were so friendly and welcoming. All in all a perfect Safari for us!

The tour was amazing! Tami was the best tour guide. He made sure to go the extra mile so we could see amazing animals. His knowledge about the animals was incredible and very meaningful. He knew how to tell the stories about the animals and because of that we’ve learned a lot. We booked the trip on Valentine’s day and had the best day ever! We are very pleased with the whole experience. So thank you so much for this amazing experience.

Amazing adventure with Lion King
We did a 7 days Mid-range safari with Lion King, including visits to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara parks. Everything was very well organised by Pendo. She was very patient and answered our 1000 questions promptly . She also gave us good advice on how to be well prepared for this kind of adventure. Our guide Aziz was incredible. He was doing his best to show us The Big 5 and he did! His knowledge and passion for wildlife is amazing. Additionally, Aziz has the same sense of humour as ours, so it was a perfect match.
It was an experience of a lifetime and we will never forget it. A Big thanks to the Lion King team. We highly recommend doing a Safari with them.
