Good price performance ratio
5/5

It was a magnificent experience. We saw the Big 5, lots of other animals and beautiful nature. We had a good time with the guide and group of 6. The meals were freshly made by a cook every day and the lodges have been amazing. In addition, we camped one night on the Ngorongoro Crater (2.300m). This was colder than expected but the company told us before. Although we had some communication problems regarding pick up times the first two days the whole trip was well organized. We could remove Lake Manyara in exchange with Tarangire the day before the trip started. We were very happy about that and that we chose Suricata Safaris.

very friendly and humorous

I had great time, it was my first safari, so I have not a comparison but the guide (both Amiri and Daniel) drove safely through the different routes.
I had fun.
I traveled with my wife and we also enjoyed the stay in lodge but we would recommend the quality of surfista bome lodge also for the other’s accommodation.
Asante sana.

Good organisation, amazing people
5/5

My husband and I did the 5days/4nights safari, we can only say good things about suricata safari.
From day 1 with Daniel, who briefed us about our safari, we felt in good hands.
Amiri, our guide, went above and beyond to show us as much as he could.
A friend told us about this company and for sure we will recommend them to our friends and family.
Very good value for money.

We had a seamless experiences full of personal touches and left with memories for a lifetime.

Our experience with Discover Africa was excellent from start to finish. Susan was our travel coordinator and we could not have asked for more - she was engaged from the beginning, took all of our personal interests in our bookings into account, and put together a wonderful itinerary for us. When there was a hiccup in the finalization of bookings due to a computer system issue (no fault of Discover Africa) it was no problem, as Susan had alternate bookings on hold that we were able to secure - bookings that ended up being our favorites on the whole trip! We explored Cape Town, Botswana, and Namibia, and had absolutely wonderful experiences along the way. Throughout multiple flights, bush flights, and car rentals we had zero issues and everything went off without a hitch, and Susan checked it along the way to make sure everything was going smoothly and we were enjoying our travels. As we were on our honeymoon, we were treated to some pre-arranged unexpected surprises during our bookings along the way that made the experience even more memorable. I would absolutely recommend Discover Africa to anybody and will certainly be using them again in the future.

Excellent and put you at ease

I got in contact by chance with Shammah Wonders after getting several overpriced quotes from TUI and Viator for a One day safari to and from Zanzibar.
Justine provided me with a very comfortable quote and forwarded on previous tour photos. Nothing was trouble for Justine and he responded to any questions within minutes.

Reliable and over delivered on our experience
5/5

We did the gorilla trek in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda leaving from Kigali in Rwanda. Ronald was our guide for the 4 days and did an amazing job. He was personable and professional the entire time. The main purpose of our trip was the gorilla trek but we also did a number of other activities like the Golden Monkeys. All of them were unique and a great experience. The gorillas were absolutely breath taking and this experience, although quite expensive, was completely worth it. We got much closer to them than I would have thought too. Like 4 feet away at most at times. Our accommodations during the trip were all high quality as well which was a nice change from a previous safari we were on. All in all this was a great trip and Ronald made it even better by being accommodating to us when needed and sharing great information throughout the trip!

Exceptional experience with Obag African Safaris
5/5

Exceptional experience with Obag African Safaris. We were a family of 6 and our guides, Obag and Johnson went above and beyond to ensure we had a most memorable experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and quality he explained fully about the animals and took us to see the animals explain about the animals. We enjoyed it so much it was the best trip of my life. We not only got to see the big five but also had the pleasure of being taught a lot about all the other wonders Obag and Johnson were very knowledgeable guides and pointed out many wonderful animals for us during our game drive.

Fantastic country and fantastic guide
5/5

We did a private tour for 2 people for 11 days around Uganda.

From the beginning, Edris' preparation of the itinerary was excellent. He listened to our needs, explained everything in detail and sent us a very complete guide of what we should bring (very useful, we recommend following it and not forgetting anything on the list).

Once there, we were picked up by Joachim, our guide and driver, who accompanied us until the end of the trip. The treatment with him has been unbeatable: he has made sure that we saw as much fauna as possible in a respectful way, that we had the best places in the group activities, that the trackings were adapted as much as possible to our needs and of course he has given us information about the fauna, flora and culture of the country.

We have not had any unforeseen events during the itinerary, but we had full confidence that if we did, Joachim would take care of it efficiently. He has shown to have a very extensive knowledge of all the places we have visited and a super professional attitude, asking us for feedback so that we can fully enjoy the trip.

Regarding the tour itself, our expectations have been more than met, we have been lucky to see almost 100% of the fauna we expected, Uganda is a beautiful country.

We were recommended by some friends and now we are the ones who recommend Uzuri without a doubt.

Well organised and welcoming.
4/5

We had an amazing time on our paradise and wilderness tour. The hotel Reef and Beach resort was a wonderful resort had everything you needed for a relaxing time, the staff were friendly, welcoming and very attentive. They we're always smiling and made you feel happy. The only negative point was it was a little to far away from the main town Jambiani. The tours that were on offer were great. The tours we experienced in Zanzibar included Stone Town, Prison Island and spice farm, this was a full day out. The other tour we can highly recommend was Dolphin watching/swimming if your brave enough to jump into the Indian ocean about a mile off the coast. And swimming with sea turtles.
Well what do I say about the Safari..........it was breathtaking to experience seeing the beautiful creatures in there natural habitat, the national park was packed with spectacular sights. The safari drive is not for the faint hearted as you are chucked about in the jeep like being on a rollercoaster, we had so much fun and laughs. Our driver was fantastic too taking us everywhere to seek out The big cats themselves Lion's, along with Elephants, Giraffe, Hippo, Zebra, Hyaenas and everything else that goes with them even Crocodile. The resort Selous Safari was fabulous, great location for Nyerere National Park and Bungalows we stayed in were fabulous, yet again the staff were friendly, welcoming and always smiling. The food in both hotels was top notch. A holiday we will never forget.
