We felt treated like friends and that we were always welcome to ask if we had aditional needs
It was excellent how Mgoba tours designed a trip maching our interests, family situation and budget. Communication before the trip by email was easy and very reliable. We were picked up by the airport and during the whole trip Martin Mgoba was in touch with us via mobile phone.
All arrangements we had agreed on like drivers for trips in and around Dar es Salaam, a city guide and hotel bookings were well arranged and the peopel involved were very friendly and helpfulll. All worked out very well. The hotel "Wistas" in Dar es Salaam was a great spot to start with. We enjoyed especially the opportunity to stay in a private house and not in a hotel during our safari to Mikumi. i It made us feel home again in Tanzania. The only weak point was the family room at "Funky Squid's in Bagamoyo. The room was extremly basic and AC did not work properly. But the hotel made up with a great beach area and excellent food. Samuel, the driver was with us during our tour to Bagamoyo, Mikumi and back to Dar es Salaam. He was doing a very competent job, was always friendly and easy to talk to. The car was always clean and he was very patient when we needed more stops or had special needs since we were travelling with an infant. We always felt very safe driving with him.
Mgoba tours was a big help to arrange our vacation and I recommend it to other people planning a trip through Tanzania

Operator Sandi died taking our deposit.
Took our deposit for 10 people and did not pay the tour in Tanzania. We tried to get a refund for months. Many crazy stories from Sandi about Bank, hospitalization, etc. Now she is dead?

Worst travel experience of my life due to Martha
I do not recommend orongai safaris. We booked for a 5-day safari un Tanzania during calving season. We asked to different agencies for prices and orongai offered us the best price for the trip we desired. We closed the final budget in January and we paid for the 30%. One week before the trip they changed the budget and added another 650$ pp. We tried to explain to Martha (that managing director of orongai) they couldn't do that. It was imposible to communicate by mail or phone with her, her messages were inconclusive, full of missenses. We told her we wouldn't pay the extra amount and she just responded: "see you on Saturday please". So we did the biggest miskate, we flew to Tanzania. Once there she insisted on the extra 650$ pp. Arguing with her is totally imposible. The Spanish ambassy put as in contact with Angel (from Itaka safari which I deeply thank) who came to try to help us. The night finished in the tourist police with Martha and angel. We finally had to pay 200$ pp extra and changed from a luxury safari to a midrage. Orongai sent us to tented camps were, some nights, not even the showers worked or we couldn't charge our cameras over night. Even if the safari itself was spectacular, Martha put us through one of the worst days of my life. By the way, Fred was a very nice guide while Asseri wasn't. He never put the Jeep in a good place for pictures, had a poor communication with us and barely told us any interesting things about the place or animals. Please stay away from Orongai, there are plenty of tour operators working much better!

Gorillas were fantastic, the accommodation was comfortable, the staff was kind and friendly!
We joined gorrila trekking in Bwindi N.P. We saw silverbacks and gorrila children. This experience amazed me. The accommodation we stayed was very comfortable. Especially the mosquito nets and hot water pack were great. Lastly, driving staff Obedi was very kind and friendly. Thanks to him, I understand many things about Uganda. In addition, he always took care of us. If you are interested in wildlife animals, you should go to Uganda and make contact to Encounter Africa Safari

Sublime Holiday
We had the most amazing time during our holiday in Zanzibar with Regional tours. Manu booked us for 2 days in Stone town and 5 days in Matemwe beach.
We had Omar as our guide and he took us on a Prison Island tour and my son really had fun with the giant tortoises! The evening walks along Forodhani were very cool, enjoying the evening breeze blowing as we sampled different flavours of seafood and bites.
Zanzibar beaches are second to none. We had a fabulous time and it was just amazing.
I will definitely make it an annual event and thanks to your team Manu we had a great time

Highly professional (communication, quick responses, etc.) and can tailor tours to personal needs
- Tour was fantastic (Kenya / Tanzania) and exceeded our expectations (great guides willing to go the extra mile, etc.)
- Extremely professional in all communications, i.e. always received a quick response and they are genuinely interested in feedback
- While our first trip was a packaged tour, we are already having initial discussions with Classic Journeys Africa to tailor an itinerary for our next trip

Amazing experience, great price, and attentive customer service
The safari tour was amazing Ambrose (our driver) was very well connected and informed of the parks, travel routes, and local deals. We saw everything we wanted to see and Ambrose ensured we had very good vantage points for the best views of the animals. Food was local and healthy, we appreciated it having veggie options too. The accommodations were exactly as described. Really good value for money.

Absolutely amazing
Me and my mum, sister and grandad had an amazing time on a 10 day safari in Kruger Park, with Legend Safaris where Shaheen planned a whole itinery catered for our granddad from the moment we landed in Johannesburg until our departure. This was a very special trip for our family who have always dreamed of going. His company was the only one out of many to give us what we wanted with a very quick response and assisted us all of the way making it extremely easy and stress free. It was all inclusive with food and drink, we had steak and lattes most days and we had the most enjoyable guides, Arun, Barbara and Suzzette who hosted us all through the trip giving us detailed information and always on the hunt to find more animals.
We saw so many animals including the big 5, ugly 5, small 5. We even got to watch a pack of Cheetahs on the hunt, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, hyenas, wild dog, hippos, baboon’s, every animal that you could possibly see and lots of babies too.
Our guides were so nice they cooked us braai and were always there to assist us with our needs. I can't recommend Legend Safaris enough and really thank Shaheen and his team for the amazing time we had there and for making my families dream come true. I highly recommend Legends, and look forward to going again.

Review about Ruaha National Park by Sam Nicholls
Excellent birding in a beautiful National Park with very varied scenery.
Wonderful wildlife, particularly of large numbers of elephants. We had 2 very good leopard sightings and numerous other mammals. Lions were heard but not seen other than in the far distance.

Beautiful scenery, wonderful wildlife viewing and amazing experiences
Excellent organisation from Paul Tickner Safaris, we loved all our accommodation.
Whale sharks were a highlight at Mafia Island, and we cant recommend Pole Pole highly enough.
Fanjove Island will always epitomise paradise in my memory, I truly hope that it remains unspoilt .... it is perfect just as it is !!
