First time safari with unsatisfy opertator
2/5

We choosed smile with us tour for our tour operator in Tanzania. We felt that Jacob was very active on the communication for planning of the tour and accommodation. On the first day he picked us up late 1 hour and said that our guide will be changed without informing us the reason. We knew later that our guide has just been contacted that morning! Since there has been a change in guide and car and also the poor operation of smile with us tour on the reservation and permit to go to each national park, we spent more than 1.30 hour at each gates (i.e. serengeti and ngorongoro). The worst is that we didn't do the game drive as we spent too much time dealing with all these problems which should not exist if the tour operator is professional enough. Our iternerary was ruined. Our guide tried to manage all problems and planned new itenerary. We felt that this tour operator is very unprofessional.

Great Gorilla and wildlife Safari with Prime Safaris in Uganda!
5/5

Emma is delightful guide. Friendly and knowledgeable about animals, birds, flora, and local culture. And a real expert at spotting wildlife! We would approach as quietly as he could in the safari van and stop at just the right place to snap the perfect picture.

We were the first to see a lion that may others were waiting for. He is well connected with other guides and able to get to the right place at the right time for a great safari

He is eager to please and worked hard to anticipate my needs before I was even aware of them.

He played African music when I wanted and let quiet reign when I wanted that.
I like to read a local newspaper and he sought them out daily even in the bush for me.

Emma is a stellar guide. I’ve been on Safaris before in Kenya and South Africa but this was by far the best.

The price was competitive or better than others, the facilities were good.
Cate provided great service and answered many questions I had up until the booking.

Highly satisfying and recommended!

Iconic experiences with a safari guide at the top of his game
5/5

The four week tour started in Johannesburg then went north through Kruger to the Matapos Hills in Zimbabwe, north to Victoria Falls then across to Botswana. We went south through Chobe NP to Moan then up to the Okavango Delta then flew in a small plane over the Delta back to Moan. We went East to the Tulie Game Reserve then made the long drive back to South Africa & to Johannesburg.
It was a spectacular itinerary and we saw everything we hoped to see.
Our Safari Guide, Anthony Waterford, was exceptional. He combined encyclopaedic knowledge with deep experience, a strong sense of care, and effective leadership. He was a very pleasant companion who has endless stories to tell. I haven’t experienced a better tour leader.
Communication with Masihambe was good, the vehicles were adequate, and the accommodation was interesting and comfortable. This tour is for people who can pitch in and help with cooking, and who are adaptable when plans change suddenly, or things go wrong.

We have been scammed. This company took our money, cancelled our tour, and has not answered any of our emails regarding a refund!!!

Spectacular and exciting photographic tour site

When I visited Etosha NP in May and June 2017, the weather was beautiful; highs in the mid-70s (F), dry and pleasant, and there had been recent rains which brought the flowers evident in so many of my photographs. The large animals were slightly harder to find because there was water at many places in the park due to recent heavy rains. However, we were successful at photographing many, including black rhino, lions, cheetah, lions, elephants, giraffes, kudu, zebra, black-faced impala, springbok, and many others. The birding was spectacular, and I was able to photograph many species such as lilac breasted roller, purple roller, secretary bird, and many others. All in all, it is a place I hope to return to many times. Also, the people of Namibia were friendly, helpful, and respectful of foreigners (like me). A very enjoyable and incredible trip!

A beautiful country with spectacular vistas, wildlife, and especially birds! Weather was dry and pleasant in May/June 2017, and I suspect it is similar in many other years. Etosha NP is the largest NP in Africa, and is a prime location for viewing and photographing wildlife!
