Great safari and hiking
We did the Meru trail and a 5-day safari with African Traces and we really recommend them. Marco and the whole team were so nice and professional. Everything was organized, scheduled and thoughtful through every step. Daniel our safari driver was so knowledgeable and nice, he knew exactly where the good spots are. The Meru staff were amazing, caring and supportive. Ombeni the guide was so helpful, encouraging, and thanks to him we reached the peak.

Great local coffee tour and waterfall walk!
We had a great day with Mr T as our guide, he took us to a small coffee farm where we could prepare a cup of coffee from scratch (starting with the coffee berry). Very unique and local experience! We also hiked to the waterfall which was gorgeous. The walk was relatively short but really beautiful, you’re in the middle of the forest.
We finished the day at the hot springs which was a prefect way to relax and finish the day! The hot springs were an added extra.

I had alot of fun and I came across good workers who explained to me on the Safari, the price is exceptionally great, next time am planning for a Safari again I will definitely go with Speckled Bird Tours..

Christopher is such a friendly guide, who is very close to nature and animal-loving.
To go on safari with I Dream Of Africa was the best decision for our trip to Tansania. Our journey was planned and organized perfectly in each detail and we were able to contribute our wishes to the tour planning. It was a pleasure to got to know Christopher and his son Warren and to see how they love what they do! Thanks for this amazing experience.

The best tour operator, ever.
My husband and I had the most beautiful trip 3 in Tanzania and Zanzibar with Shadows of Africa. Our tour operator, Karen, was able to understand all our needs and accomplished them over any expectations! We have spent two weeks in Tanzania mainland, starting from Mount Kilimangiaro (day hike with our amazing guide Amir and overnight at the beautiful Simba farm lodge), then we move to Arusha and Arusha National park (overnight at the amazing Olerai lodge) where we had the most exciting walking safari. We visited olpopongi masai village and then we have started our safari tour, together with Charles, our amazing safari guide that accompanied us all the way through. He was super professional, available and discrete. He became a unique friend! We have visited Tarangire national park (a quite small park with lots of wild animals), Serengeti national park (wide and amazing) and finally the Ngorongoro crater (unbelievable!!). Charles allowed us to see all the big 5s, gnu migration and so more. We have really enjoyed every moment, living the nature and the culture at 360⁰C. We have finally moved to 1 week relax in Zanzibar where we had the most beautiful spice tour and safari Blue (kwale island) with our expert and friendly guide Mohamed. We spent three days in matemwe (zanzibar queen, beautiful resort) and three days in jambiani (blue moon, excellent hotel with direct and private access to the magnificent sea). We strongly suggest everyone, staring from our family and friends, to visit Tanzania and particularly to rely on Shadows of Africa for the tour organization. Everything was terrific, trekking, safari, accomodations and food. More than we have ever imagined. We will come back in Tanzania with Shadows. For sure.

It was great!!!
We had a great vacation! Communication was fast en good. The lodges were also good and our gide and chauffeur for all 6 days was Joseph and he was the best! He's a kind man and a good chauffeur and gide. He brought us everywhere and told us al lot. When we gave up to see a Rhino, he didn't stop. And with succes! It was great. We have seen a lot of animals and beautyfull nature!! Thank you so much Joseph, fot the fine days. Greetz Pieter en Corine

Amazing
Our experience with our tour guide Nelson was amazing from start to finish. Once in a lifetime experience, highly recommended from two experienced world travelers.
Nelson was very knowledgeable and friendly and kept his professionalism throughout our trip. We have been to Kenya twice before and this was by far the best trip. Nelson went above and beyond to ensure was amazing and memorable.

Friendly, sure, amazing,
After comparing some offers from internet in Germany, we chocked Anthony with his company. He gave me from beginning a trustful feeling. We paid for three people and 6 days in advance: (Tarangire, Ngorongo Crater, Serengeti, Manyara Lake) Our guide and driver Remy was at last our friend. He dove excellent and sure over all this specials way. He saw the animals from far before we saw anything. We could the the big 5 and much mor, about 60 lions with family, hunting lions, sleeping lions, and in Serengeti all. The Lodges were brilliant, always good food, friendly and competent colgues. Special the tent camp Kontiki was so close to the lions and the Hyppos, that we could hear them from tent in the night and see the Hyppos in Flashlight. For security we feeled very good with the polite and helpful Masai. My daughter, 19, and her friend Helen, 18, were so happy to see all the wild animals. Remy had eyes as an eagle to showed us details and rare animals as a Rhino. I thank Anthony and Remy for this amazing and wonderful adventure. Wolfgang from Munich, Germany

Lameck was a super guide with a good eye, very informative & friendly- highly recommended
I would definitely recommend the safari experience with this company. We had so much fun & managed to spot all the big 5 and also saw so many other animals.
Our guide Lameck was amazing. He had a good eye for finding the animals in the parks & is very informative. I would highly recommend him as a guide.
