The food was great!!! Every day even at lunch When other groups were with lunch boxes we were with a warm meal.

Introduced to the wonders of the Garden Route by an excellent Guide
Coming into Cape Town after a 5 week research expedition at sea and had a few days to get from there to Gqerberha for a meeting. Emailed Safari With Us from the ship and asked if they could put together a bespoke 3 day (2 night) Garden Route tour. What followed was a truly great trip, as our guide, Machiel, was extremely knowledgeable of the area and we were able to experience many of the attractions of the Garden Route despite only having a few days. Stayed in a picturesque B&B in Wilderness, which was right on the beach with amazing sunset. 2nd night was in a real nice place in Stormsrivier. Tour highlights included the game reserve at Botlierskop (Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Zebra etc), the seal colony at Robberg (Seals, Great Whites and Southern Right Whales), views overlooking Knysna, walking tracks in Nature's Valley and Tsitsikamma National Park and last but not least, Lunch in Jeffreys Bay surrounded by walls and ceiling filled with classic Surf memorabilia. Simply a great trip! Looking forward to coming back to South Africa again in the future and taking some more time to do another trip with Safari With Us.

Bad experience in October 2022
We booked a week's safari with this agency. The stay included 4 parks. The director of the agency, Michael, announced a small change to us when we arrived. We did not understand at the time that he removed the Ngorongoro crater from the program: a must in Tanzania! In order to go there we had to pay for the park ourselves. So we paid for this park when booking with the agency and once there (we are talking about more than $430).
I would add that when we arrived, no driver came to pick us up. The agency was unreachable for an hour … I strongly advise against booking such a beautiful and expensive trip with this agency.
Nous avons réservé une semaine de safari avec cette agence. Le séjour comprenait 4 parcs. Le directeur de l’agence, Michael, nous a annoncé un petit changement lors de notre arrivée. Nous avons pas compris sur le coup qu’il a supprimé du programme le cratère Ngorongoro : un incontournable de la Tanzanie! Afin d’y aller nous avons dû payer le parc nous meme. Donc nous avons payé ce parc lors de la réservation avec l’agence et une fois sur place ( on parle de plus de 430$).
Je rajoute que lors de notre arrivée, aucun chauffeur n’est venu nous chercher. L’agence a été injoignable pendant une heure … je déconseille vivement de réserver un voyage aussi beau et cher avec cette agence.

The perfect guide: Extraordinarily friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and reliable
We wouldn't know what Freddie could have done better during our Safari. He expertly managed our time, selected amazing lodges, and spotted a wide variety of rare animals -- we even discovered a pack of 20 lions and stopped right next to them! Our trip had zero waiting times thanks to Freddie: He checked, double-checked, and triple-checked that everything went smoothly behind the scenes and was 15 minutes early to every appointment. His level of reliability and attentiveness was unmatched in any other guide we spent time with. Freddie is also extremely friendly, open, easy-going, and knowledgeable -- he even identified all the birds we spotted! His car is excellent as well, with extra large windows and an excellent suspension (very important on a Safari!). In short, we highly recommend Freddie and iTravel Safari. We wouldn't have any other guide!

Everything was great
Everything worked out just as we had hoped. We were picked up in the morning, drove to Tarangire, spent a beautiful day there with lots of animals, and were brought back again. Very kind and sympathetic driver. This company had the best price we could find.

14 nights/ 15 days mobile camping/ lodge safari in Chobe NP, Savuti, Khwai, Moremi, Makgadikgadi Pan
I, along with a large group of 11 friends had a fabulous 14 nights/ 15 days safari in Botswana and Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) with Moonlight Safaris.
We had a lodge accommodation in Kasane and Maun and special camping in Savuti, Khwai Community Concession, Moremi Game Reserve and Kubu Island (Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Needless to say that this was a serious task - the owner of the company provided two safari vehicles with two guides (he drove one of the vehicles himself) and a support vehicle with 5 people back-up team (a chef and 4 camp hands). They carried all the camping equipment - tents, stretchers, mattresses, linen, bush showers, tables, chairs etc.
All vehicles were in top condition - we drove in hard road conditions, deep sand, dust and never experienced any mechanical issues. Both guides - Bogosi and Judah performed very well in terms of seaking, tracking and finding animals and birds. They found 9 different leopards within 6 days timeframe in Savuti, Khwai and Moremi. Lions (females, males, cubs) almost every day. At nights we had visitors in the campsites - Honey badgers, Elephants and Spotted hyenas.
We had also a full day Okavango Delta motor boat safari and a scenic flight over the delta included in the program (both from Maun).
Kubu Iskand in Makgadikgadi Pans National Park was something completely different from the rest of the places that we visited in terms of scenery - an island with lots of baobabs in the endless salt pan.
The boat safaris and the game drive in Chobe NP from Kasane were very well done by Bogosi and Judah, a lot better than last year's drives and boat trips provided by the lodge. Bogosi also subcontracted a great company in Maun for the full day motor boat safari in the Okavango Delta.
This is my second safari with this company and the owner Bogosi. Last year I had a similar itinerary and I am also planning to do another trip with him next year.

Great Safari of 2,5 weeks with Chris as Guide. Can't be better
I travelled through Western and Southern part of Uganda. Chris did a great job. All the accomodations where nice and clean and offered good food. Chris drives very responsible and knows his way around in all areas. He also knows the pros if the various activities in the regions and can point out all the animals in the National Parks. I can greatly recommend Chris and would definitely go again with him. Actually I did as this was my second trip with Chris. First one was in 2017.

Organized, professional, thoughtful, flexible meeting the needs of experienced and inexperienced.
Our group definitely recommends African Magic! Our schedule allowed for only one day of hiking. We came from Kenya and were met at the border to assist in the process of entering Tanzania. There were 7 in our group with age range 42 to 79. African Magic provided 3 guides and an intern. The guides were organized, professional, thoughtful, and flexible meeting the needs of the experienced & inexperienced. Each of us has a daily exercise routine and planned for our hike. We divided into two groups according to ability. My husband and I were slower due to our age and his pacemaker & my partial knee replacement. We felt safe every step of the way. Surprisingly descending was more difficult and my guide was very cautious about our safety. Our group is from Texas, USA and are very happy that we experienced this adventure. Repeating.... Our group definitely recommends African Magic!
