About: Kenya
Indescribable once in a lifetime experience
Overall rating
5/5

This was the most incredible experience, once in a lifetime, totally indescribable. The Kenyans are the most beautiful, sincere, obliging people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, if you can experience this trip, Safari in the Masai Mara then a week in Watamu, you will have the time of your life!

About: Tanzania
A spectacular place to visit during the calving season.
Overall rating
5/5

We had a wonderful time on safari in Tanzania. The short dry season (February) turned out to be absolutely ideal. As it was calving season it was a real treat to see all the new arrivals. The weather was perfect (30 degrees Celsius with clear blue skies and no rain at all). There were essentially no mosquitos or bugs to deal with. Our guide was a superb driver and always managed to find the best view point when there was a number of tour guides competing for the prime vantage spot.
Our concerns about safety turned out to be unjustified. We always felt completely comfortable- both while on Safari and when mingling with the locals. We will definitely be encouraging our friends to follow in our footsteps.

George is fabulous! You’re in great hands with him!
3/5

George is fun! He knows everything there is to know about the animals, the flora & fauna, the people and hoe to make things happen! Knowing where the big 5 hang out is essential! ! He’s organized, knowledgeable but his personality improves every moment of every day! I’ve been on many tours, in many countries but George Killas is the best! You will love it!

Kiliholidays is the real hidden gem of Tanzania. We chose it because it was an affordable option that provided a wonderful onboarding process. When we booked our safari we got a professional personalized itinerary with a shareable link for friends and family. Mack was wonderful in helping us book flights while in Tanzania and made us feel comfortable with the payment and logistics process.

Edward was everything you could hope for in a Safari guide. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made the trip more than what it would have been without him. The camaraderie we shared was not something you can find online or pay a premium price for. When I recommend safari in Tanzania to friends and family I specifically mention Kiliholidays by name. When we ran out of local currency, Edward was happy to front a couple shillings given that we were able to pay him back when we found an ATM. He also served as a liaison to the local environment and helped us navigate communicating with the local community and living in a novel environment. We really enjoyed spending time with him.

Mr. Mood was our private chef and was a delight. His food was not only delicious, but he was quick to take note of any dietary restricitons and had meals prepared for each of us that catered to our needs. Another pleasant personality, he made the trip that much richer. We were cracking jokes the whole time!

If you are considering Kiliholidays, you are considering a very good option.

An outstanding experience!

Some decisions you never regret... Going on a Safari is one of them, and choosing Sino African is another one! When we began planning our Safari, we researched several tour operators, but Sino African stood out for their accommodating, creative, and flexible approach. They provided options that we hadn't considered and warned us when some of our ideas didn't make sense. It felt like a genuine partnership rather than a sales pitch or a matter of "choose one of the options" - which was the case with many of the other operators we compared. This partnership approach also meant we had greater control over the price, and we ended up with a competitive price point that met our goals.

Sino African also provided a range of planning documents that made things like hotel selection, obtaining a Kenya visa, and health precautions very straightforward. Their agent was incredibly responsive to our emails and texts throughout the planning process, not just before booking, and they helped us to realize our wishes and ideas right up until the last day of our Safari.

One word on the name of the company: Initially, we had reservations about choosing a company where the name implies a focus on customers of a specific demographics, implying maybe a focus on that language or food. As American travelers, we were unsure if Sino African would be the right choice for us. However, our concerns proved to be unfounded. Sino African exceeded our expectations with their impeccable English and ability to meet our needs perfectly. Their level of service, professionalism, and attention to detail left us pleasantly surprised. Looking back, we highly recommend Sino African to anyone considering a safari adventure in Africa.

Finally, our safari guide, Solomon, was simply outstanding. We realized in hindsight that even with perfect planning, our Safari experience would not have been the same without the quality of our guide. With Solomon, we hit the jackpot! He was friendly, patient, and a calm driver - a trait that was especially valuable in the hectic Kenyan traffic. Solomon was level-headed when it came to adjusting plans due to weather, wildlife, or other delays. Most importantly, he was incredibly knowledgeable about everything - from Kenyan politics, geological features, history, culture, customs of different tribes, back roads, and, of course most of all: wildlife. His knowledge of the animals was truly breathtaking, and he managed to share it with us in bite-sized pieces whenever we saw the animals in their natural habitat. This made our Safari experience truly unforgettable. Overall, it was Solomon who made our Safari adventure such a memorable and amazing experience.

Shanjoy was great in communicating with us, to organize a perfect trip for the short stay we had in Kenya. Very helpful and accommodating.
The trip went great and we could stick to every plan we made!
The team is very knowledgeable on the parks and reserves - with great understanding on the flora and fauna.
Can’t wait to go back for another trip with them!

Amazing
5/5

Everything went incredibly smooth, from our first contact with Germano who kindly provided us with all information we needed for our 2 daysxsafari to Nyerere. We were picked up at our hotel in Zanzibar for transfer to the airport. The flight was less than an hour and when we landed, the first thing we saw through the window were giraffes. Ee were transfered to the lovely Nyerere Tented Camp for breakfast and eere then picked up by our ranger mr Rama. We absolutely loved mr Rama. He is knowledgeble, charismatic and have a great sense of humour. During our 9 hour drive he really went out of his way for us to see as many animals as possible, and boy did we see animals!! When coming back to the camp we had an absolutly amazing dinner. Sleeping at the tented camp was an incredible experience! The next day we went for a bush walk with our super cool guide Didi which was also very entertaining and interesting, and after that we went for a boat safari with the lovely guide Ahmed were we saw all kinds of birds, lizards, crocs and came really close to several hippo families, which was exciting. Back for lunch at the tented camp, time for som relaxation and then we were driven back to the airstrip were we took the flight back to Zanzibar. Tranfer from Zanzibar airport back to our hotel was also provided by Daigle Tours. I would highly recommend Daigle Tours, everything is so well organized, all staff are the nicest persons you'll ever come across, it is an experience of a life time.
