This is a most amazing Lodge and the staff are awesome
5/5

We stayed in September 24 and the lodge is fantastic and the staff are really amazing. Sam and Confidence were awesome guides, Moses an amazing manager and Trinity a great front of house. The Chef cooked really great food throughout (sorry we can't recall her name).

Having an elephant come up the the lodge was stunning and thanks to Sam we got to see so much, including the big 5,

We're already planning another trip

Safari trip of a lifetime to see the best of Kenya and Tanzania
5/5

The 11 night tour that Lucy organised for us through Kenya and Tanzania was amazing. We had the most wonderful time and the amount of wildlife we saw was incredible with some rare viewings of big cats hunting etc and thousands of other animals. We saw the big 5 within 2 days and many more times after that too. We visited Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Lake Victoria, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Amboselli.

The itinerary was perfect, we were driving for long periods most days with early morning starts and picnic lunches but we knew about that in advance from the itinerary so it wasn't a problem. We really wanted to maximise our time in the parks seeing the wildlife for photography which we definitely achieved with our busy itinerary.

Overall we preferred driving in Kenya to Tanzania as it was at a more relaxed pace. Because of the longer distances to be covered each day in Tanzania some of the driving was faster on very bumpy roads and tracks, some people may prefer a slower pace and a shorter itinerary because of this. Both of our driver guides Kim in Kenya and Geovanni in Tanzania were excellent, very friendly, gave us lots of interesting information and knew where to take us for the best game viewing. We saw such fantastic sights in both countries we could not really pick a favourite, there were so many highlights every day.

The accommodation and food standards varied with the lodges being more luxurious than tented camps but we enjoyed the experience of staying at all of them. For us the best rooms and surroundings were at Marera Mountain View Lodge which was such a beautiful place to stay but all the others were of a good to very good standard. Staff everywhere are very helpful and friendly and the food is plentiful with a good variety.

Lucy's help and advice planning our excellent trip of a lifetime was greatly appreciated. Philomena was also great meeting us at Nairobi airport on arrival late at night and joining us for the drive back at the end of our trip.

We highly recommend Mara Triangle to anybody who may be thinking of an African safari holiday in future.

Amazing experience with Eddie
5/5

The Kruger Safari tour was simply incredible. Eddie "the happy Chappie" made everything possible. We spotted 4 out of 5 big four animals, the ugly 5, and many more. I can only give max score to him and the tour.

Amazing adventure Safari with Freddy
5/5

We came across Suricata Safaris on Instagram and Tik tok. After the experience of making arrangements through the Whatsapp application with competing companies, we were very satisfied with Suricata Safaris. They were always prompt and made us an affordable offer for 5 days which included a trip through Lake Manyara, Tarangire NP, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We liked the diversity of NP. In retrospect, we are very grateful that we could go on safari with guide Freddy from Suricata Safaris. I definitely recommend booking a safari with Freddy! Freddy's knowledge about animals, nature and the culture of the local people fascinated us so much that we tried to write down everything so that we wouldn't forget any of it. Sometimes we even laughed. It was simply divine! Hereby we want to thank him very much for his approach and if we ever consider a safari in Tanzania again, then only with Freddy. Thanks to him, we saw the "Big Five". He always tried to give us the best view of the animals. He also regularly stopped at places where there were clean toilets (we didn't have to go out into nature to use the toilet). For lunch, we usually had a picnic, e.g. rice with chicken and curry vegetables. We also always had plenty of water, juice and fruit throughout the day. They always thought of vegetarians as well. We were accommodated in Suricata Boma Lodge, Angata Serengeti camp and Ngorongoro Tortilis camp. Suricata Boma Lodge is truly luxury. We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a busy day and the great food they prepared for us here. Evenings in the camps - Angata Serengeti and Ngorongoro Tortilis are unique in their atmosphere. Sleeping right in the wilderness among wild animals is an unforgettable experience for us and I really recommend it to everyone. Safety rules must be followed in the campsites. Each tent has a walkie-talkie and you must always be accompanied by a guard in the evening. The staff is always prompt and helped us with everything. The food was very good. Thank you all for the warm welcome and the amazing adventure we had thanks to Suricata Safaris. We will never forget it!

Amazing!!
5/5

My friend and I decided last minute to plan a safari trip to South Africa (by last minute we planned it in two weeks). I northern of us had been to Africa or on a safari so we were really unsure. After inquiring many companies, I got an immediate response from Wayne who was awesome. Not only did he get up a better place to stay but he was always responsive, gave explicit detailed directions and even when our plans changed last minute did his best to rebook and answer questions. I would highly recommend for anyone booking their first safari. Wayne and staff took all the pressure and anxiety out of planning/booking.

Excellent service and they made the safari such a fabulous experience
5/5

The whole safari experience was magical…From landing on the air strip at Selous to eating lunch with giraffes and hippos walking by. Our guide was named Innocent and he did everything he could to make our safari the best. He was so good at spotting different animals and we saw lots of them. The hotel and staff were fantastic along with the food. The accommodation was spotless and would highly recommend.
We loved everything about this trip and cannot recommend it highly enough. A tip for future travelers is to take some food with you for the first day as it’s a long day from resort in Zanzibar to lunchtime, I packed some cereal bars which worked well. But I have to say the lunch that was provided on safari was very good and tasty.
Thank you so much to everyone for making a special trip for us x
