fantastic safari in botswana
5/5

We had a wonderful safari in Botswana thanks to Tony and his team. Initially our idea was to visit mainly Okawango area but thanks to suggestions from Tony (always kind and available) we had the chance to visit Chobe, Savuti, Okawango and Nata (plus a quick visit to Victoria Falls). Everything fantastic with great organization and friendship. Thanks to Tony and his team we felt in love with this country.

Adventurous
5/5

Karibu safari’s were outstanding. Robert was my point man, and he genuinely did a great job. I had a memorable and exciting time in Kenya, and the team really executed with finesse.
My instructor was Aruni. He is an all star—I don’t say this lightly, he was my MVP. He knows the lands and the animals like a natural, and he has eyes like an eagle out there even driving like a champion—he is also a team player, and a pleasure of an individual. Personally, I feel it was Aruni that made my trip as exciting and incredible as it was.

At one of the places we stayed at I ingested food poisoning—now, how it happened I am not sure—I think what happened was I came late to my third dinner and they made me a plate that was no good—perhaps leftovers that was out for a while, but that is just my guess. It hit me pretty hard, and my trip mates handled it very well, as did Aruni—once he realized there I had an issue he took me to the right places that I needed to get to for proper healthcare, and made sure I was attended to immediately once I got there—he really made a challenging experience a memorable and even a joyous one—and I’ll tell you right now, I was in trouble.

We saw all the animals at Masai Mara. We saw an attempted lion takeover, and even a successful lion hunt of wild boar. It’s real out there, and Karibu safari made a trip possible for me that I’ll remember like my own National Geographic trip.

There is an option to a tour a Masai Mara village (for a cost). Unless you are genuinely interested in their culture, pass on it. You will be followed and eyed throughout the tour for ways to extract money like hyenas do for food—it felt borderline dangerous. And, going into one of their huts seems fun and culturish—it’s a stomach ache waiting to happen. I got out of there and felt like it was my redemption from Shawshank.
Other than that they were respectful.

It’s a lot of driving and a lot of mobilizing—this trip is for one who wants to experience the wildlife and have an adventure of a lifetime.

Commendable! Thank You
5/5

Thank you Gates Adventure Safaris and Joe, the guide. My wife and I did a six day safari in Kenya which was planned and executed by Gates Adventure Safaris. We had a great experience from day 1. Everything was done perfectly and its like even the animals cooperated. It was impressive to see a very well coordinated Safari Gates team that made our safari memorable one. Thanks again!

Unbelievable wonderful
5/5

We just arrived home this minute from a 17 day trip to Uganda and Rwanda that Living Wild Tours planned for us. At first, we were planning on organizing and completing this tour ourselves. Are we ever thrilled that we booked with Living Wild!!! Edna was wonderful all the time leading up to our tours...addressing all of our questions and concerns immediately and planning the very best tour we could have asked for!! Caesar, our tour guide was, without a doubt the greatest tour guide anyone could have asked for. His expertise on the Uganda culture, the parks and animals was second to none!! We immediately felt comfortable with Caesar and we left at the end of our tour feeling he was a great friend. He put up with all of the silly inquiries our famly of 6 could throw out there!! Never once did we lack confidence in his abilty to provide us with the best possible experiences! Every day we found ourselves saying that we would not have had the same great experiences without him! I highly recommend Katona and Caesar for anyone who is planning a trip to Uganda or Rwanda...YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! Thank you so much for making our dream trip a reality!!

BEST HOLIDAY EVER! THANK YOU!
5/5

We were met at the airport and taken to the hotel in Nairobi, even for safari started the next day. Next day we met our safari guide (I cannot call him just 'driver') - Milton, who took us to Masai Mara - our starting point. The car was nice and comfortable, and Milton is a very safe driver, so you can sleep the whole way and don't bother about anything. We stayed at Sarova Mara, which is amazing! Staff is super friendly! We were debating about staying in tent, but it was very comfortable, it was a room with soft walls, rather than just tent. We loved Masai Mara - we saw the big 5 on the first day. We've also done the safari balloon there, which was amazing. It is another way to look whats happening on the ground and the sunrise is breathtaking. During other days, which we spent in Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli we saw hundreds of animals, and Milton was very good in finding them, stopping for good picture and giving information about them. Knowing that we wanted to see Mt. Kilimandjaro, which was covered for 2 days, he woke us up in the morning, when the clouds were finally gone and the sky cleared.
As for the accommodation - Sarova Mara, Lion Hill Sara at Nakuru and Ol tukai are amazing. Staff is very outgoing and friendly, food tasty, rooms clean. Sopa Lodge at Naivasha is not that good: accommodation is great and people friendly, but food....(((On the other hand, we stayed there just for one night, so overall it was ok. Btw we had an amazing boat trip there, don't miss a chance to visit Crescent island - you would love it!

Summing up, if you want to do safari in Kenya, choose Natural World Kenya Safaris and ask Milton to be your safari guide and this will be your best ever holiday! Lots of love and thank you, guys!

Awsome overall Expirience!!!
5/5

My wife and I planned to spend our 2nd year's wedding anniversary in Africa and we were particularly interested in gorillas and some wildlife in general. We raised quite a number of inquiries from different operators but at some point we were confused on the options at hand. Among the inquiries we raised was to Living Wild tours. Edna was absolutely incredible at getting so fast back to us with our queries answered precisely on point. She helped us develop a custom itinerary for 10 days through Murchison falls park, kibale park, queen park and bwindi park. The experience was absolutely incredible and totally exceeded our expectations!! Our safari guide Ceasar who warmly welcomed us with his signature smile at Entbe airport was unbelievably incredible - totally knowledgeable on culture and the wild animals. He was very patient with the wild and this made us feel the animation LION KING come alive. I was blown away by his experience of reading the animal footprints, their body language and how he could "magically" identify these animals from afar with his bare eyes like the leopard that he struggled to pinpoint to us hidden far away in the cactus tree =wow-. We saw leopards twice in different parks - totally killed me -, lions, forest hogs, elephants, giraffes, zebra, warthogs, hippos, everything you can possibly imagine!

And to make the safari even more wonderful the hotels / lodges they chose for us were amazing and exceeded our expectations. We had delicious meals except for one lunch along the road that was not that good but understandable as we had it during one of those long drives. We can't thank living wild tours enough for making our 2nd year anniversary a completely unforgettable experience!

Excellent experience and service within 3-days trip
5/5

We'd like to thank Amon for organization of our short-time safari. It was really full of emotions and based on good service. We booked 3-days trip to Manyara, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Amon met us in Arusha airport and forwarded to the guide Abdul (very intelligent and competent, safe driver and nature addicted). Accomodation was in a camp on the territory of guest-house (lodge) and it helped to save some money. Food is good! But the most important issue is a new style of thinking which comes to you after such experience: our Earth is so beautiful, let's keep it for the next generations! Sometimes tears appeared when wild animals had arisen on our way: lions, giraffes, hogs etc. This is absolutely must do in your life at least once.
Thank you very much BIG FIVE for this beuutiful fairytale, your service and attitude! Take care!

To improve smal things like the chairs for dinner / breakfast ; there were the cheapest one and not to confortable and definitely get better ones won’t be so good expensive (for some reason we always ate the last ones , no problem but don’t know why )

Tents were ok
Food really nice
