Best trip ever!!!
I love nature, and it was my childhood dream to see the various animals (especially the big cats) living on the African savannah in their natural habitat. Now this dream came true thanks to Kili Slope, and I hope I can return to the beautiful Tanzania for another safari in the future.
As a solo traveller, I contacted three safari companies 10 days (!) prior to my flight to Tanzania to enquire about a 7-day mid-range safari (through Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro) on my preferred dates. All three companies replied within a day but I liked Kili Slope's offer the most, because David Maro, the managing director provided me with an authentic 7-day itinerary which I liked a lot. I felt relieved that everything was planned out for me by an expert so I did not have to worry about anything.
When I arrived to Arusha, one of David's representatives picked me up at the airport and transferred me to the Charity Hotel. On the first day, I visited Arusha National Park with Jackson who was my driver and guide of that day. Jackson kindly showed me giraffes, zebras, buffalos, flamingos, monkeys, and we were lucky enough to see Mount Kilimanjaro from a viewpoint. Jackson was very patient while I took photos. I also had a 1-hour walking safari with an armed ranger that day; - I loved the idea of walking a few meters away from the giraffes at the foothills of Mount Meru! An amazing experience.
Then the real adventure started with Simon Juma Salim who was my/our guide/driver for the rest of the week.
On day 2-6, I was supposed to join a group of five but thanks to David, I shared the safari jeep with only one other solo traveller. The three of us, we spent 1 day in Tarangire National Park, 2 days in the Serengeti, and one day in Ngorongoro. On my 7th day I visited Lake Manyara alone with our guide, Simon.
Simon Juma Salim, our guide was brilliant!!! At first the three of us made a decision together what to focus on during the safari, i.e., the great migration or the big cats. Both of us were mainly interested in the big cats, so Simon ensured that we definitely see lions, cheetahs and leopards by driving through their habitat in the Serengeti. Actually, I saw 31 lions, several cheetahs with babies, and a leopard with her baby! Thanks to Simon, I could also meet the Big Five and many many other beautiful animals. I was lucky enough to witness a male lion (and later vultures) eating a buffalo at Lake Manyara, and I could also see a tree climbing lion. Simon himself got very excited when we spotted an animal on the savannah, and Simon even helped me taking photos through binoculars! Simon is very passionate about his job, and he considers Serengeti as his second home. Of course, Simon always shared some interesting facts about the animals and vegetation as well as the different tribes. Simon also shared some stories of his life during lunch and dinner.
Simon is very friendly, kind-hearted and helpful; and his genuine personality contributed that I enjoyed this trip so much.
In relation to the accommodation selected by David, I loved the Serengeti Wildlife Camp (because I could hear hyenas, and lions roaring at night...) and the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge (because of the beautiful views) the most. David via Simon our guide continuously asked for feedback about the accommodation (if I had not been happy with it David would have changed it).
After the safari when we returned to Arusha, David met me because he was interested in my first impressions about the safari. Then David dropped me off at my accommodation as I spent one more day in Arusha. Also, David kindly offered to drop me off at the airport at the following day. David was very professional throughout, and I highly recommend Kili Slope. Asante sana!!!

Most amazing experience of my life
Raja, provided us with prompt and professional service right from my initial contact.
Fredy our driver, was punctual and knowledgeable. He also had a lot of patient when we wanted to stop and see something or buy something... Although some days required a lot of driving between destinations, Fredy provided us with an insight into the local culture and lifestyle.
The accommodation provided for us was excellent (Neptune hotel) with a fantastic view and all the food was amazing!
In resume an amazing experience! Thanks a lot RajaTours for an awesome Safari!

Perfect in a special way
We have been in Dar in May. Although it was the end of the rainy season and therefore not the best time to go on safari we didn't wanna leave without seeing any animals.
We had booked the three days Selous safari tour. Lenard picked us up at our hotel in Kigamboni right in time. We bought some veggies, fruits and water on markets along the way (what was an experience by itself), had a lunchbreak with a delicious meal in Kibiti. The landscape is so beautiful, Lenard is such a good driver and entertainer, time passed so fast and the six hours tour was never boring.
At arrival in the Ngalawa Tented Camp we had a two hours boat safari on the Rufiji river. Something so very amazing...the silence, the birds, the crocodils, the hippos, the sundown...it is hard to put it in words.
We had a full day safari in Selous the next day. Lenard knows the reserve very good, he knows so much about animals and we saw a lot of them. No cats, but almost every other...even a hyena in the end. Lenard brought us so very close to them, he was so patiently and never got tired to drive, to explain and wait for us making photos.
On the last morning we had a walking safari. It was really exciting to walk in the bush always aware that the animals are close. A real nature experience.
We had full board at the Ngalwa Tented Camp. Food was always very delicous and the camp is a woderful little place somewhere out in the wilderness where we heard the bush babies cry at night.
The whole tour was thouroughtly good organized and perfect in a special way mostly cause of Lenard...we hope to do safari with him again and highly recommend him and his company.

Andy was awesome. He listened to my requirement and was really patient in providing various options.
Andy did a great job in arranging our trip to Cape Town and Kruger. He gave us different options and worked with us. He was patient and always listened to what we were looking for. He has a great and friendly personality and is not pushy. Overall I would highly recommend Andy for arranging and coordinating your vacation. The safari and Cape Town visits were excellent and met our expectations.

TANZANIA WONDERFUL TANZANIA
Safari in a land of uncontaminated nature, breathtaking and magical landscapes. It was a trip of unique emotions. Our expectations have been overcome by reality: so much biodiversity and beauty, availability and friendliness of people and efficiency of Savannah Explorers. Every need has been satisfied and every minimum problem solved promptly. Thanks to the staff of Savannah Explorers for their professionalism and to Ally (our driver and guide) for his availability, knowledge and experience. He allowed us to observe very closely all the animals of the savannah!

Best 4 day Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate Tour
This company took care of my husband and I from start to finish. Zippy herself was there at pick up to introduce us to the driver Gregory and the cook John, and also at drop off to ask us about our experience.
It was an incredible tour and safari in Masai Mara Game Reserve. Gregory is a great man who drove very well and will make sure you will see as many animals as you like and as many as time and distance permits.
The accommodations were as they were described and better. Both places we stayed at in Masai Mara and Lake Naivasha (the cottage overlooked the lake!!!) had hot water for showers, electricity, perfectly working toilets, mosquito nets and comfy beds. Wi-Fi is provided in the van.
We were very well fed with freshly cooked food, drinks (bottled water, tea and coffee, we got a smoothie treat also!) and fruit snacks. John is a great cook who always asked for feedback from our meal. He walked with us in Hell's Gate National Park and Gorge (amazing park, lots of walking, hiking, some climbing but BEAUTIFUL and worth it, we had another John as our friendly and informative guide).
Gregory and John were amazing company and we had long talks with them in the van, after meals and while on tour. Very friendly, professional, and respectable people who were patient and efficient.
We just finished our safari tour and we were quite sad on the ride home because we had such a memorable time. Australken Tours is fantastic, reliable and easy to organise with. Highly recommend!

Gorilla Safari
Jolie arranged our booking. She was so pleasant and helpful. The safari was absolutely wonderful. I was a little nervous of the hike but it was amazing. Bwindi forest is really beautiful. I recommend a porter as it was very slippery. The gorillas were so peaceful. Thanks Jolie!
