Excellent service in the planning stages (and cancellation) of a week long safari.
I received prompt and excellent service in the planning stages of a week long safari in Kenya. This trip was booked directly by my husband and I by email with Vanessa and we were looking forward to the holiday. However, a month before departure we had to cancel due to a health problem. I just want to say that Spirit of Kenya refunded our trip according to their terms of reference and we received the money back into our account.
Their excellent website, professional service by email and refund when changes happen tell us that they must be a gem of a company. We hope to be able to go on a safari with them next year!

Great trip with Range Land Safaris to Fort Portal, wildlife drives in QE Park and gorilla trekking
This was our second trip with Range Land Safaris Uganda and our guide, Ronald, and the safari this year was as good as the first one. We booked with Range Land again because of the enjoyable trip we experienced the first time. Our trip this time took us to the Fort Portal area, game drives in Queen Elizabeth Park, Gorilla Trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Lake Bunyonyi. Booking the trip was easy and Ronald planned the itinerary so that it was paced well and we got to do the activities we requested. Ronald is very knowledgeable about Uganda - the wildlife, sightseeing and activities. All of the accommodations booked by Range Land were very nice and in scenic settings. The price of the safari was very reasonable for all that was included. I strongly recommend using Range Land Safaris if you want to experience a wonderful safari in beautiful Uganda.

A great customised trip with a guide/driver and land cruiser with just ourselves for the duration.
The communication with the company was excellent. They worked hard to understand the kind of trip we wanted and made good recommendations on where to go and where to stay.
We were met my our guide in Nairobi and we had this guide and the truck to ourselves the entire seven days. The land cruiser was beautifully outfitted with a fridge to keep drinks cool, a power supply so we could charge phones and cameras, and even WiFi.
We visited Amboseli Park and loved it, but Ol Tukai Lodge felt a bit like a tourist mill. It was larger and busier than we expected. But the location was great and we had no complaints about it. We had driven from Nairobi to Amboseli, then drove to Lake Naivasha, going through Nairobi again. So, we had a few long days of driving along the busy highways of Kenya with less than careful drivers in other vehicles. In hindsight, we would have preferred to organise the trip so there was less driving, maybe even flying between parks.
The Lake Elementaita Serena Camp was outstanding and highly recommended. The food and accommodation were above and beyond expectations. On the way there we stopped at Lake Naivasha. That was a bit of a disappointment since we spent some time walking around a small private piece of land with a number of animals on it. It was not the experience we expected, but it was nice to boat along the lake seeing the wildlife.
Lake Nakuru Park was excellent. The drive to Maasai Mara was again long (very long) but it was interesting to see the country. Mara Bush Camp was outstanding. The personal attention and level of service was exceptional. The luxurious tent was amazing, especially as it sat just above the river overlooking dozens of hippos.
We recommend Classic Journeys. They did a great job. Be sure to state the kind of accommodation you're seeking, and they'll point you in the right direction if you're clear enough. Check about driving time between parks and try to minimise that.

AMAZING Safari in Tanzania thanks to Mary at Planet Africa!!!
If I could give Mary Rijnberg and her assistant Nikita at PA eleven stars, I would. They planned our 8-day safari to 4 places in Tanzania so perfectly and we had a simply magical experience. The camps (Little Oliver’s, Dunia (run only by women) and Sayari in the Northern Serengeti) were all wonderful with great , welcoming staffs, expert guides, and great food. We were so impressed by Asilia, the company that runs these and a bunch of other camps in both Tanzania and Kenya; they make you feel so lavished upon with service, yet like one of their family.
The lodge Mary chose for us at Ngorongoro Crater, Plantation Lodge, amazing and perfect, with gorgeous grounds and plantings (we compared it to Jurassic Park) and wonderful meals.
Most importantly, our flying (Coastal Aviation) and driving transfers were all seamless and expertly planned, as was the order of the route. We had to change our dates after the trip was planned, and Mary was very accommodating and worked with us to make it fit perfectly. Great communication all the way.
I would never consider another company for complete Safari planning; thanks Mary and Nikita!!!

Far More Than Expected
I went to a number of Safari Parks with Twiga Tours and I would recommend them for a great safari experience. Saw so many animals and birds, and up close, the guides knew just where to look. Exceeded my expectations.

Absolutely smooth and fabulous!
Ute planned our whole itinerary within 2 days with all confirmed camps booking, guides, road and air transfers. We didn't need to worry a thing about the planning at all. The whole trip was smoothly transitioned from one place to the other. There was no delays or disconnects. There was always someone waiting at the airport to pick us up to next camp. Ute picked Elewana collection for all the stays, which turns out to be the most amazing experience on this trip. Ute was always so quick and patient to answer all our questions before, during and after the booking. She definitely took the stress out of the planning and left us the fun part to enjoy. We really appreciated all her efforts and will definitely recommend it other others for Africa Safari trips. Will come back again Ute! Thank you so very much for making our honeymoon a wonder!
