An Exceptional Safari Guide — Edward Made Our Tanzania Journey Unforgettable
Edward was, without question, one of the greatest highlights of our safari in Tanzania. Everyone in our group agreed that his service was impeccable, his knowledge was outstanding, and his professionalism went far beyond what we expected from a safari guide. We would recommend him without hesitation.
What impressed us most was how seriously Edward respected what his guests genuinely wanted to see. He never simply followed the standard route or settled for the most obvious sightings. His knowledge of the national parks was truly exceptional, allowing him to locate even extremely rare wildlife scenes with remarkable accuracy. By the later part of our trip, experiences that many visitors considered once-in-a-lifetime sightings—such as the famous wildebeest river crossing—had almost become familiar to us, simply because Edward had already managed to show us so many of them.
His understanding of animal behaviour, movement patterns, and the surrounding environment was equally extraordinary. He consistently anticipated where the animals were heading, found the best possible viewing and photography positions, and often got us there before anyone else. At the same time, he was always careful not to disturb the animals, allowing them to behave naturally and, on several occasions, come remarkably close to our vehicle.
One of the most unforgettable moments of our entire journey was witnessing a lioness hunt. After the hunt, Edward accurately predicted the route she would take back and positioned us perfectly ahead of time. Thanks to his judgement, we were the first vehicle to arrive, and the long telephoto photography equipment I had carried all the way to Tanzania finally had its perfect moment: we captured the lioness walking directly towards us with her prey in her mouth. It was a scene we will remember for the rest of our lives.
Beyond his expertise, Edward is also an exceptionally kind and thoughtful person. During our trip, we saw him stop at least three times—with our permission—to help other guides who were experiencing difficulties on the road. At the end of every safari day, he carefully checked the vehicle for anything we might have left behind and made sure that our equipment, drinks, and other needs were always taken care of. For Edward, these thoughtful details were not occasional gestures; they were simply part of his daily routine.
Edward combines outstanding wildlife knowledge, exceptional judgement, genuine kindness, and an extraordinary level of care for his guests. He did not simply guide us through Tanzania—he created some of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives.

Amazing Safari with Apodiformes
We had a wonderful trip in Kenya with Apodiformes Adv. Our guide, Sebastian, is a great advisor to our trip. He is efficient driver, and is full of knowledge of the wild world. With a great vision, he helped us to catch three of the Big Five in our first day in Lake Nakuru. Sebastian deals with all kinds of problems on the road. Without him, our Safari would not be so smooth.

Unforgetable Safari tour with Steve and Lewis
We had amazing experience with Suricata Safaris and the guides Steve and Lewis. We got full picture and info about life in Africa, animals, and we received the best service from the guides we could imagine. Accomodation in the lodges was excellent, food was great and we saw all the animals which Safari offered. Absolutly amazing. I fully recomend Suricata safari with those 2 guys.

HUMPHREY was not honest with our group of 12 people. We paid him in advance, notified him we must cancel on time and according to the agreement conditions, but never get our refund.

Amazing!
We had an amazing safari experience with Lehi Safaris! From the very beginning, they always checked in to make sure we were doing well and enjoying our trip.
As it was our honeymoon, they surprised us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a special cover for our spare tire saying “It’s Our Honeymoon,” which made our experience even more memorable.
We enjoyed a private safari through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire National Park. Our guide listened carefully to our wishes and was incredibly attentive when spotting wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw three leopards and even two white rhinos, which are very rare in Tanzania!
Our safari vehicle was always stocked with plenty of cold drinks and tasty snacks, which made the long game drives even more enjoyable and comfortable.
Everything was perfectly organized. The accommodations were absolutely beautiful, and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We truly had the trip of a lifetime.

Our service was superb! The Guided Tour and equipment was high standard. To receive a pick up and drop off to our location was always prompt. Hats,caps, map, water bottles to keep. Plenty of fresh wster to drink. Although, we forgot and left our map behind, our family was delighted to be on the Safari with Heidy as our guide. Seeing God's Creation up close was amazing Fantastic. The value for money in our case was affordable compare to other companies.

We did a 7 day mid range private tour including tarangire, 3 days Serengeti, ngorongoro crate and lake manyara. Our holiday with lion king was more amazing than we could have ever imagined!
Everything was well thought out and planned. Communicating prior was very thorough. I had 0 stress with any of it. We were picked up from the airport even though our tour didn’t start until the day after. Our driver Simon was great at explaining the process and the pick up from the airport and was also very personable.
Our actual tour guide Camillus was 12/10!! He was very kind, wise and has over 25 years of experience in the industry. He took us to all of the right places and was extremely knowledgeable about everything! He had “binocular eyes” and was able to spot so many things from so far away! We saw ALL of the big 5 and more in just 3 days. We even saw over 50 lions in total. And we saw hyenas eating ostrich eggs and challenging a lioness. None of this would have been possible without our amazing guide Camillus!! We learned so much about one another and about Tanzania. We were extremely sad to have to leave Camillus as we had all grown so close during our week holiday.
Our hotels were perfect for mid range. Our favorite was land of nature camp- glamping tents in the middle of the Serengeti. We heard and saw animals both while awake and sleeping. There was even a buffalo grazing outside our room for over an hour in the middle of the night. the staff at each hotel were extremely accommodating and friendly. I am vegetarian and had no issues with food.
Overall, we got so much more out of this trip than we ever expected. I hope to come back to Tanzania and plan to book with lion king and our driver Camillus.

Incredible safari with lots of amazing animal sightings
We booked our incredible private 5-day safari trip in Tanzania with Spirit of Tanzania Safaris. We went to Serengeti, Ngorongoro NP and Tarangire NP. After 6 days in Kenya we passed the border to Tanzania very quickly even though there was a long queue our guide Aziz got us ahead of the queue and through the border control in no time. We had incredible game drives with lots of animal sightings even the rare ones like leopard and rhinos. Our guide Aziz was very alert during the game drives always looking left and right for animals to spot. He got us as close to the animals as possible and in front of other cars. We saw all of the big 5 animals (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhinos). We even counted some of them: 41 lions, 6 rhinos, a leopard, 5 cheetahs and dozens of elephants and buffaloes. He knew all the spots where the rare animals were to find. We even saw a group of lionesses hunting a zebra in Ngorongo NP aswell as tree climbing lions in Tarangire NP. Aziz is a very clever and friendly guide. He bought some local fruits to try from a stand and they were delicious. Overall we are very satisfied with our experience, the animal sightings, the landscape and our guide Aziz. Can’t recommend enough!
