Fantastic and well worth it
5/5

Our driver Max was wonderful and the food Salem cooked was incredible.

We saw tons of animals (Big 5 minus cheetah)! The tents were nice, sleeping bags clean, and the sleep pads were comfy. I have a sensitive back so I brought an extra sleeping pad and stacked it on top and slept great. The staff set up all the tents and camping materials so everything was easy.

The camp grounds were well equipped, second one had a cafe, and all had showers. Definitely wasn’t worried about not choosing tents over more expensive lodging.

Bring small snacks since you meals are a little spaced out, but when you eat they feed you very well.

4 adorable days in contact with a wild nature
5/5

It was an awesome experience to get to the safari with Cubs Expeditions! Many thanks to Humphrey, he was in touch every time when I was asking him for anything. Everything was well-coordinated: airport transfers, hotel check-in, safari itself. The food was varied every day :) Our guide was a real professional, i think that he knows everything about Africa nature and history.
A lot of animals we saw really close, just in 2 meters of our car. Zebras and baboons are came to the Simba camp, and they almost didn't afraid of humans. The car was comfortable, it has a few binoculars and everyone can use it. We were surprised that there were no mosquitos. On the way to Serengeti park, Ngorongoro and Tarangire we met a lot of masai childrens and treated them with some sweets through the opened car window.
Many thanks to Cubs Expeditions!

Lion King provided the perfect honeymoon experience for us!!!
5/5

We took this trip with Lion King for our honeymoon and they helped us organise it perfectly. The communication was excellent, responses to our emails were quick, the information provided was detailed and our requests were kindly accommodated. All the hotels we stayed were great but the highlight of our trip was our amazing driver and guide David. We highly recommend you ask specifically for David. He is a great driver, has a very genuine and polite character but most of all he has a great experience in spotting animals. We saw all the animals up close and we couldn’t be happier. We couldn’t recommend this trip more highly!!!

A good travel and tour experience with Sekanka.
5/5

I went on a 5 days safari with Sekanka Safaris, which was fantastic. I am fairly experienced traveller and have been on safari before. I can say that Sekanka is a very professional outfit. The guides and chef were excellent. The vehicle were road and dust beaters, but they worked well and were in good repair. The food was so tasty. One of the highlights of the trip was a "bush breakfast" under a baobab tree with impala and giraffe awesome! I highly recommend this safari company.

Lion King is Safari King
5/5

We went on a 6 day Safari starting in Arusha via Tanrangire NP to Serengeti, stayed there for an extra day and went back via Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. Lion King Adventures was the perfect choice for an experience of a lifetime. The first contact and the customer service were excellent, but our guide even topped it. Yusuf made the safari unforgettable - he is very knowledgeable about the animals and nature, very kind and absolutely conscientious with everything. (After a discussion about the color of zebras he spend the night searching for the latest status of research ;)) We saw so many animals (all big five and not only once) and irned many interesting things. We had booked mid-range comfort and all lodges were nicely selected, clean and the food was delicious.

Incredibly knowledgeable and always wanting to help.
5/5

We have had an incredible experience in South Africa and we can thank discover Africa and our agent Vihann for that. We have no complaints with the experiences organised, the transfers, or the accomodations; it was pretty much perfect all around. If there is one note for improvement it would be that we felt that White River where we stayed for a few nights was quite remote for doing the panoramic tour and we thought Graskop might have been more central. But overall a 10/10 expereince.

An incredible experience
5/5

Great first for us, we decided to leave 5 days in safari in couple.
We chose the company Serengeti Wakanda because an acquaintance of ours had done with them and was very satisfied.
And I confirm. It was really great an incredible time.
It is an experience to do at least once in his life. You can trust them, the organization was top. We were a group of 8 people and it was great to share these moments together. A big thank you to Prace for his professionalism and his kindness.
We will remember our New Year 2023 for the rest of our lives!

We just returned from Rwanda and Uganda. Nkuringo made all our arrangements. They had our guide, Patrick, waiting for at the airport. He stayed with us for our whole trip until he dropped us off at the airport in Uganda. He was always on time, knowledgeable and fun. He was totally fluent in English. We booked 2 other times but had to cancel due to the pandemic. The company worked with us on all the re-bookings. The excursions were good. We especially liked the boat tour in Queen Elizabeth National Park. We were able to see elephants, rhinos etc at at the lake's shore. We also really liked the Gorrilla and Chimpanzee tracking tours. The guides at the park are very good. I would say to avoid the Dian Fossy hike in Rwanda. The hike was rigorous and muddy. Most of the way we were in mud up to our knees. Thank goodness for the porters. Her camp and grave were anti climatic. It was not worth the effort. However, we signed up for this tour and were told is was rigorous. We recommend Nkuringo Safaris Uganda (esp. Patrick).

Highly experienced, knowledgeable, polite, responsive, honest Safari tour operator.

Discover Africa , and Matthys van Aswegen in particular, was a pleasure to work with. Firstly, his patience and understanding is a true fine attributive of his. We started talking about a safari to South Africa in mid 2019. We had both phone calls and email exchanges, and he was always responsive with concrete intelligent answers. In fact, he sent me many options/packages that were only in Kruger, and others that included Botswana, whatever combination I asked him for , he put together happily. However , by the end of 2019, not knowing about Covid yet, we simply weren't ready to go on Safari yet. He never put any pressure and was quite understanding. We then spent most of 2020 emailing back and forth again during the pandemic, with many more questions and options. In Dec 2020, I finally booked a Safari with him to Mala Mala camp in Sabi Sands(one camp , 4 nights, seven game drives), as well as visits to Johannesburg and Cape Town. We continued to exchange emails during 2021, updating and tweaking the itinerary, when suddenly the Omicron variant hit during Thanksgiving. Since there was MUCH uncertainty with Omicron and our trip was a few weeks away, I couldn't take chance with my family's well-being and potentially getting stuck in South Africa. So I postponed the entire trip for a year to Dec 2022. Matthys, once Again, was only understanding and flexible! He helped me re-book everything to Dec 2022 AND I even rearranged the itinerary completely, and he was accommodating and cooperative. He was also able to transfer all of my pre-payments for Mala Mala, other hotels, flights, to Dec 2022 so that not one penny was lost! In short, he was amazing ! We just returned a few days ago and the safari at Mala Mala was something me and family will always treasure. We also very much enjoyed Cape Town and the winelands! Discover Africa gets an A+ !
