great company for last minute trip - solo travelers
Jockey customized my tour for me on a days' notice. I stayed at Jambo Mara Lodge and LOVED IT! Jimmy, our driver was awesome and made sure we saw all the animals you can expect to see in Kenya (Rhinos, Hippos, Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Giraffes, crocs, etc). The guides communicate a lot in the radio. Once one of them finds a certain animal (lions, leopards, hyenas, etc) they are able to tell each other where to go, so everyone gets to see it. This makes it a bit crowded around the felines (lots of cars circling them - a bit disappointing to me). I also went to Masai Mara on low season (rainy days) and various groups were driving little mini-vans and getting stuck on mud. We never got stuck and also ended up helping others to be "un-stuck". The camaraderie between the guides was cool. Lake Nakuru was nicer to me. The radio was kept off and we just drove around finding the animal on our own. Jimmy was really good at spotting them, even from far. It was much nicer, quiet and enjoyable being pretty much the only ones around some of those magnificent creatures.

The driver cum tour guide was well mannered, experienced and articulated. Totally loved his expansive knowledge of the wildlife, we learnt a lot from Kevin. And he is too kind! Definitely hooked!

Wonderful Experience!
My wife and I were on our third safari. We were extremely glad we made our reservation with Trevaron Tours. The camps at Amboseli National Park are not only kid and family friendly, but they also support the local communities and the environment. From the beginning of the booking procedure until the time we were dropped off at the Nairobi airport at the conclusion of our trip, we had excellent care. The friendly safari guides, the abundance of animals, the delicious cuisine, and the cozy accommodations all contributed to our wonderful safari experience. Great day in Masai Mara
I had a very ambitious plan - to spend 24h in Masai Mara uppon arrival at the Nairobi airport. I have sent a bunch of emails to different companies and was given either hilarious price, or other ofers (Amboseli, NNakuru lake, Nairobi national park etc) or was told it was not possible to do it in a 24h. In fact, Hyrax (Rosalyne) also said it can not be done. But after we said we are in Kenya for work and we only have these 24h and we want to go to Masai Mara and not else - we created a custom package. And we had a GREAT service. Dan, the driver and our guide has a great knowledge on Masai Mara is very patient and has a great sense of humor. We loved the package they created for us, it included Masai village, game drive in a 4wheel jeep in Masai Mara national park, night over at a very nice camp and all the meals. We explored the park untill sunset , had a great evening at the camp and got up at dawn and continued our game drive. We drove all the way to Masai Triangle. And if I would go there again - I would do it again. Yes, I know, it sounds crazy to do it in just 24h when only to drive to there takes 5-6 hours, but we could not afford more (time and moneywise).
Do not overthink booking with them, just do it. And ask for Dan, he knows Masai Mara by heart. And he is very keen on showing you the highlights of safari.
Guides have radio connections and they share info among them on interesting things - like the lepard resting on the tree after eating antilope.

Excellent Nairobi to Masai Mara excursion
Our safari adventure in Kenya was made possible by Delfin Tours. The trip includes lodging inside the Masai Mara National Park, a guided tour of the area, and transportation from Nairobi to Masai Mara. Joseph was our guide for the three days. Our team had extremely positive things to say about Delfin Tours and Joseph. Joseph was a fantastic tour guide, and the excursion was well organized. He put a lot of effort into making our game drive a special experience because he was well educated about the park, its animals, and their ecosystem! We were well taken care of in our accommodations, and had a great time. Kudos!

We went for 4 nights & 5 days game drive with Bison Safaris. It is the best tour operator who provide economic rates with high quality service. Maggie was very prompt in answering all my queries and did every possible changes to customize our itinerary. Provided a very competitive rate to suit our requirement.
