A Once-in-a-Lifetime 5-Day Safari – Perfectly Organized from Start to Finish!
We just returned from a 5-day safari in Tanzania with Suricata Safaris, and it was absolutely the trip of a lifetime. From start to finish, the organization was flawless – everything ran smoothly, on time, and with great attention to detail. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing, which allowed us to fully enjoy the adventure.
Transportation was also perfectly arranged. We were picked up from the airport on arrival and dropped off again after the safari, making the whole experience seamless. On top of that, someone from Suricata Safaris met us both before and after the trip to make sure everything was clear, well prepared, and that we were taken care of at every step. This personal touch made us feel safe, welcomed, and truly valued as guests.
Our accommodations were fantastic throughout the trip. Suricata Lodge was cozy and welcoming, the Golden Crescent Hotel offered great comfort and service, and the camp at Siringati was an unforgettable highlight – falling asleep to the sounds of nature and waking up surrounded by the wilderness is something we’ll never forget. Each place had its own charm and added something special to the journey.
A huge part of what made this safari so memorable was our driver and guide, Elias. He was outstanding in every way – knowledgeable, passionate, and with an incredible ability to spot animals from miles away. Thanks to him, we were able to see the Big Five and so many other amazing wildlife moments. Beyond his skills as a guide, he was also kind, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had the best possible experience. Elias truly elevated the entire trip.
The itinerary was very well thought out, with a perfect balance of game drives, breathtaking landscapes, and time to relax. From the endless plains of the Serengeti to the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, every day brought something new and magical.
Overall, this 5-day safari with Suricata Safaris exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The organization was spot on, the transportation seamless, the accommodations excellent, and Elias made the journey truly unforgettable. On top of that, the trip was worth every penny – the quality of service and experiences we had far outweighed the cost. If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania, I cannot recommend Suricata Safaris highly enough – they created memories that will stay in our hearts forever.

Our guide,John Faru is the best!
This safari tour was absolutely the best. The lodges were comfortable with stunning views, and every meal was delicious. I bonded with my fellow travelers, making it a memory I'll cherish forever.
The absolute highlight was our guide, John Faru, who was the most incredible professional you could ask for. His driving skills, knowledge, initiative, and kindness were outstanding. I definitely want to join another tour someday.

Best tour in my life
Our guide, John faru, was the best driver—knowledgeable, well-connected, and thanks to him we were able to see so many animals. On top of that, the accommodations were clean and the food was delicious. Overall, everything was great and the price was very reasonable.
The company’s service was excellent, and the safari tour was absolutely amazing.
If you’re planning a safari tour, I highly recommend Jocky Tours. John is the best!!

Friendly and professional, customer focused
Day was stunning from start to finish, transfer lovely, guided at airport to where we needed to be, meet at park very welcoming, despite mechanical hitch with vehicle, another there straight away.
Rest of the day, beyond words for us all. Guide/s were fab and respectful of not crowding animals too much, respected our desire to move on rather than join the crowding. All went a bit mad when lions spotted sleeping, not comfortable for us with all vehicles crossing round so much but we left and then returned bit later.
Lunch was lovely, good amount food and drink and quiet location.
Majority of day felt like it was just us in the Park. Fantastic encounters (most of not all animals ticked off) and time just sat watching them. Our desires to move on our stop, wait, watch again respected, felt totally like it tour.
A lot of time felt like it was just us out there.
Delayed flight back, which was obviously good for us being out in park longer.
No Safari experience to compare to but any in future will have a lot to live up to😁

Me and my boyfriend (from the uk) went on a 3 day safari to Amboseli, it was great! At first I was a bit nervous, because everything was organized through whatsapp, but it turned out my worries weren't necessary at all! We got picked up in Nairobi and we were brought to the camp in Amboseli by landcruiser. We did a hot air balloon drive and 2 game drives and afterwards we were dropped off in Nairobi again. Everything went smoothly and the others in our group were really nice too.

They were flexible, friendly and tried to accommodate our needs
We went for our honeymoon and the safari was simply amazing. The communication before we got there was very responsive and we were met with a warm welcome. We had restrictions on our diet and there were days when it wasn’t as consistent but we could tell they tried. Hadija, Raphael and everyone involved made the trip feel really special.
Our driver, Eric, was very knowledgeable about the animals. He had the right instincts and we saw almost all animals we wanted to see without a lot of tiring driving.
The trip overall was extremely high value and I’d recommend it to anyone.

We had an excellent safari experience with Makini Safaris. Our guide, Rasheed, was exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the animals and their habitats. His keen eye meant we saw an impressive variety of wildlife, often more than other groups we spoke to afterward.
We were also very impressed with Dennis’s cooking. Instead of the simple packed lunches many other tourists mentioned, we enjoyed freshly prepared hot meals featuring delicious Tanzanian dishes, which added a special touch to each day.
We’d highly recommend Makini Safaris to anyone looking for a well-organized, memorable safari experience.

A holiday one will never forget
Despite being a large group, with a range of ages and personalities, Rob and his team did a fantastic job of showing us the magic of the Okavango Delta. Some of the highlights were following the lives of the beautiful animals so close up and seeing the stunning landscape and sunsets, sleeping in luxurious tents with the occasional noise of a wondering animal and experiencing a variety of delicious food and wine around warm fires. Rob showed such impressive organisational and leadership skills, as well as deep knowledge about the environment and the animals we saw, and did it all in such a patient and good humoured way. We will all be eternally grateful for what we learnt and the memories we will cherish.
