Magic gorilla visit
5/5

Home to Africa delivered everything I asked for. Nice lodge at Bwindi and a wonderful hotel at lake Bunyonyi. I asked for a guide knowledgeable about birds and Tony, my guide, was really good.
There were four groups in the gorilla park, thanks to Tony I was alloted to the group who had to walk the shortest distance to meet a gorilla family. Still very steep and strenuous. I strongly recomend you hire a porter, he will carry your rucksack and pull you up if necessary. My only regret was not spending an extra night at the wonderful lake Bunyonyi.

Well organised safari to masai maara!
5/5

Did a 3 day package to masai maara through safariline defenders. Rose answered all my questions about the country, safari, weather, food etc without any concerns. I stayed in jamabo mara safari lodge and it was very good. Food was average but manageable. They have wooden and glass cottages and facilities are premium when compared to other camps nearby. It had 24 hrs wifi in reception and electricity. They have pool and snooker tables. Our driver castro was amazing and hilarious. took lot of effort to co-ordinate with other drivers to locate animals in the forest and put in lot of effort to make all of us comfortable.

This tour operator is fraud, the owner Mr. Otieno is a con man.
1/5

This tour operator is fraud, the owner Mr. Otieno is a con man. We lost 3300 US dollars. Our tour was booked with them from 9th Aug to 17th aug. On 7th they wrote they are cancelling our entire trip due to some technical issues, since then they are not replying our mails, neither their phone numbers are working.

We made a police complaint after reaching nairobi, but they didnt seem serious, their expressions were like "so what!, it happens here often.

Top tour - value for money, safe driving and a knowledgeable guide as well.
5/5

Just completed a two week safari with Buffalo Safari Camps and wanted to share what a fantastic experience it was. Our guide and driver, Emma, did a fabulous job in taking us on a full circuit of Uganda, while taking account of our interests and needs. We always felt safe with his driving (not something to be taken for granted in Uganda), things ran to time and he provided some great insights during our travels. Buffalo put together a full itinerary for us with all accommodation, meals and activities included. We had specialist guides in each of the parks and other attractions and found the whole experience to be an excellent one. Would definitely recommend their services.

A great experience!
5/5

We did a safari in the northern parks of Tanzania with Petit Maasai Safaris and it was a great experience!
The guide and the cook were really professional and nice with us, trying to make us feel comfortable and to satisfy our requests.
Thanks a lot!

Nice but way too many hours in the safari vehicle driving between the parks!
3/5

Unfortunately I can not recommend this tour (5 days Kenya Safari). We were spending considerably more hours in the vehicle going between the three parks than being on an actual safari. Very unexpected I must say... It was a 9,5 hour drive between Lake Nakuru and Amboseli (although our guide told us we would be there "before lunch" as we were starting our journey in the morning around 08:00 hrs...) and once we got there, exhausted, hungry and dusty, there was no time for a safari. Huge disappointment as we were supposed to go on a safari that afternoon. The following day, a few hours safari as we rushed through the park and then headed back to Nairobi (another 6 hrs drive). We had lunch in the vehicle as there was no time to go back to the camp.

All in all; very nice conversation with the tour operator before the safari, nice and friendly driver (who unfortunately rushed through the parks to keep the schedule together) who was also a good driver which we appreciated, and we also liked the vehicle.

The lasting impression however was that we were rushed through the parks and that we paid a lot of money for spending most of our time on the Kenyan roads and highways.

Small is beautiful.. and it comes with great value for money!
5/5

I was driven to book my 17-day vacation in Kenya with Best Memory Safaris by the good reviews I had read online, and I was not disappointed.

Isaac, GM of Best Memory, contacted us personally from day one helping us to organize our safari and a few leisure days in Diani beach before coming back to the European Union.

Getting in touch with him to plan, arrange, make changes, get suggestions or ask any kind of question was as easy as to write a message on Whatsapp. This is a fact that you will appreciate in case the unexpected happens or in case you need to rearrange a service while already in Kenya. Indeed, a small agency allows for customized service and personal touch and communications. Isaac will be following and monitoring your safari (interacting with your driver) from remote everyday, calling your driver every evening or as often as needed just to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Isaac came to welcome us in Nairobi and also came to say goodbye to Diani, where we had the chance exchange few impressions and where we also gave him a few hints to further improve his program and services.

If I can give you readers and advice, please try to book a 4WD car (van or Jeep – we had a van and it worked out perfectly).

Also be aware of distances in Kenya: roads are not always as good as in the Western world and it takes much longer than expected to go from one place to another. Most parks are located in remote areas where dust roads and big potholes are the norm. But the animals will be waiting for you upon arrival.

An unforgettable Southern Tanzania Expereince
5/5

I took my family on a trip to Southern Tanzania with Kilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Safari on a 12 days safari package to Selous, Mikumi, Ruaha, and Udzungwa.
Our guide Goodluck was amazing. He was friendly with the 5 of us and by the end of the safari he had become like family. He was also very professional and knowledgeable about birds. I thought that no one knew more things about birds than my wife, but Goodluck did. The southern parks were very different from the Northern ones with low traffic and different habitats.
We stayed at wonderful hotels and lodges that had great service and staff was wonderful.
Thanks to Kilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Safari for the amazing experience.
