Best once in a lifetime safari experience!
5/5

From start to finish, this was an amazing experience. I was recommended Soul of Tanzania by a friend and am so glad I used them. It was a once in a lifetime "escape" from the responsibilities of family life, as my best friend & I headed to Tanzania for a girls trip!! From the numerous emails sent to Helena (who always responded so quickly & positively) to being picked up at the airport, everything went so smoothly.
We travelled to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater.
Our accomodation was great - clean rooms and great food. We tried a variety of different options from camps to fancy lodges which was a great way to travel.
The actual safari was everything I had hoped for - Zamo was our guide and I cannot say enough great things about him. He knew so much about his beautiful country, was fun to be around, and made us feel so welcome. He had eagle eyes, and spotted animals which I could barely find with binoculars! He also had an ability to read what the animals were likely to do so we found ourselves in prime viewing position the majority of the time. Highlight was seeing the leopard & her cub 3 consecutive days and watching a family of elephants head down to a water hole!!
The safari vehicle was super clean & comfortable - plenty of water available always. And the hot lunches (with wine if you liked!) definitely added to the experience.
I cannot recommend Soul of Tanzania more highly - and hope to return one day soon with my husband & children!

No problems whatsoever!
5/5

Diana was a dream to work with. We communicated by email and she was always prompt with her responses. She was also great about taking into account our dietary restrictions (Vegetarian) and make sure all of the lodges accommodated our diets.

Daniel was our driver for the entire duration - from picking us up at the airport to dropping us off at the airport. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and was always driving us to the areas where the animals were spotted. He is also very friendly and made sure we had everything taken care of without any problems. We saw a lot of animals and Daniel was patient and let us take as much time as we needed to view the animals.

I highly recommend Schon Kenya.

TAILOR MADE HOLIDAY TO BOTSWANA, NAMIBIA, ZIMBABWE, and MOZAMBIQUE
5/5

Pom Pom Camp (Botswana) was our favourite. Guides, accommodation and meals were exceptional. A vast array of animals to view considering that the Okavango Delta in suffering from drought conditions.

Chobe River Princess: Highly organised. Comfortable accommodation and amazing 5*restaurant meals and service. This was relaxing time for us

Bayete Guest Lodge (Victoria Falls): Great ambiance. Meals and service excellent. The Lodge was running on generator power due to Government load shedding of their power supply. No complaints as this was out of their control. We walked through the Victoria Falls National Park viewing points as well as the historical Victoria Falls Hotel. We also did a quick flight over the falls which gave us a great perspective of The Falls from above

Elephant Express Train: Most enjoyable way to travel to our Bomani Tented Lodge

Bomani Tented Lodge: Great accommodation, Guides, Staff and especially the manager Karen who went out of her way to make us all feel at home.
Meals here was exceptional as well. There wasn't so much a variety of animals at this camp as at Pom Pom. We did have up close encounter with the Elephants drinking at the watering holes from inside the viewing hide. We visited the Nagamo Primary school here which was a highlight for us

Bahia Mar: (Vilanculos): We had a nice relaxing time here. Amazing accommodation with a beautiful view of the waterfront. Meals and service were fantastic.
We did a day trip out to one of the islands on a Dhow boat. I joined some locals of a 'Beach Clean Up' walk which was rewarding

Thank you Jonathan for your expertise in organizing our Southern African adventure

Absolutely Amazing!
5/5

From the beginning we had great communication fromKhalanga safaris helping us to organise our trip. The suggestions of which camps to stay in to best suit our dates and get the best value of animals was much appreciated. Shoes picked us up in Hazyview and we just had the best trip with him for 5 days through Kruger Park. He was a fabulous guide, who is a true local, so he just knew it backwards. We saw many animals every day, and in particular, the big 5 in one day which was just awesome! Lots of laugh and lots of fun and adventure made the trip just so much better. Shoes is also an awesome cook and we shared a great braai. We got up close and personal with so many animals every day that it was an experience we will never forget.

Worth the price, lots of space! You'd best start around 9 or 10o'clock if you want to do everything because it is very big.

We had an amazing time in a relatively short trip to Tanzania. Our guide, Robson, was excellent. Not only friendly and accommodating, but also extremely knowledgeable of the geography, and the habitat of the animals. I would do this trip again in a heartbeat.

Enjoyed our accommodation, glamping then camping. Lovely food. Great experiences with seeing the wildlife, especially Tarangire.
The dusty travel between Ngorongoro and Serengeti was not so pleasant especially when our driver followed vehicles too closely, in their dust trail. An expensive guided walk above Ngorongoro crater was a rip-off. More like a casual stroll around a farm!
Apart from that the safari was very enjoyable, if a little tiring. Much to see and enjoy. I would recommend it.

Amazing experience!
5/5

After perusing through pages of Kenyan safaris, I happened upon Selous Explorer in Tanzania. After a little more studying, SE safari seemed to be the more remote and private (and less expensive) experience that I was looking for. I was impressed by their awesome reviews too.
Asna is great and always responds promptly. I booked the 5 day/4 night Mikumi and Ruaha package.
Amazing! Our guide, Endrick, was the best! (as well as our chef, Rashidi, who was also an excellent spotter) All of the accomodations and food were very good, especially the bandas in Ruaha! If you want to experience the closest thing to the Garden of Eden, I highly recommend that you go. Tanzania is beautiful!
Asante sana Asna, Endrick, and Rashidi!

Wonderful Safari
5/5

We had an amazing safari, thank you Soul of Tanzania for a truly memorable holiday!
Helena, who handled our booking, was really easy to deal with and promptly answered all our queries and tailor made the safari to match our needs. Our guide, Dennis, was amazing, so informative. We learnt so much about the animals, landscape, people - a real expert. Really glad we chose them.

Day tour Chobe National Park, river and land safaris
5/5

This tour was excellent, good value for money, everything on time and we saw everything we wanted including large herds of elephants really close and swimming. Giraffes close up, hippos very close and crocodiles. The bird life was also exceptional and we lost count of the different species we saw. We had a brilliant guide called Brook who had 17 years experience and we felt very safe with him. I would certainly ask for him if you could. Our driver from Victoria falls to Chobe was a delightful girl called Pamela who was extremely knowledgable too.
The whole day was an unforgettable magical experience.
Thank you

Carol
